tricor

Avatar n tn 1 month later he was not saticfied with the drop in cholestoral so he put me on a fairley new drug called Trilipix. I take 10mg of lisinopril for high blood pressure, 10 mg of crestor, and 145mg of trilipix. After being put on the trilipix I started felling tired and having stomache problems (constipated and cramping). I went back to have my a1c check last week and it was 8.0.
Avatar f tn Thank you for answering my question. Yes I take trilipix and lipitor.
Avatar m tn I have been on Lisinopril (bp) for 5 years and Trilipix and Simvastatin (cholesterol) for the last 3-4 years.

Avatar n tn Here are the meds I am own - Questran - 1 packet for irritable bowl, Prozac for OCD, Allergy Injections, Methyldopa for blood pressure, and Trilipix for Triglycerides (nearly 1000), and Vitamin D. I am only 30!! I am overwieght but work hard to get rid of it with little or no results. They even checked me for Cushings. My TSH is low at 0.3 and I have a Goiter but no known thyroid problem. I have acne. Anyone know what could be causing my heartburn to be so severe?
315318 tn?1353251800 Recently , I was prescribed a fenofibrate (Trilipix 135 mg) along with Crestor. My cardio wanted this for helping in getting my triglycerides down. I have not had a lipid profile done since starting on this med two months ago. However, since being a diabetic , I check my blood glucose (BG) many times during the day and what I am noticing is a clear trend in the BG numbers going lower at least over the last month or so.
Avatar m tn I agree. The benefits outweigh the few, (if any at all) side effects from taking the benzo's every day for over six years. I'm 26 now without insurance, and they are the cheapest of the meds I am on. Trilipix is 184USD, Crestor is 189USD, and even generic gabapentin is 154USD. Lexapro is about 140UDS. Generic Klonopin is about 10USD. Remeron is about the same. And Inderal is 4USD. This is all per month, and I need every one of them.
Avatar m tn twice a day, Amlodipine Bensylate 5mg. once a day, Trilipix 135mg. once a day and Ibuprofen 600mg. when needed. Pravastatin Sodium 40mg. once a day and Alprazolam 1mg. twice a day. I have been to my doctor and have told him about it and he just says, its anxiety. Does anyone know what might be causing this ?? I am tired of hearing that it is anxiety ! Please help !!!!!!!!!!!
Avatar f tn Hello Chiari world! I was diagnosed with Chiari in May. Now two of my cousins, my mom and brother have all be diagnosed with it as well. We are joining a genetics study and are curious if any of you others out there have joined any studies. We would like to know what the Pro's and Con's were/are. We feel that since so many of us have been diagnosed in the last three months that our family may be able to help future families and our future generations by joining the study.
408795 tn?1324935675 Anyone know what's going on with these studies in Northern CA? I called the doctor Monday, then I got a bill for 7 bucks or something for copies, second bill I got. Is that good news, doctor still hasn't called me back yet. Are there more than one Phase III studies, like this. Like is there several types of Phase III studies? Thanks for looking, I feel like there's a party going on and I wasn't invited.
Avatar m tn I was wondering if anyone knows of any free syringoma studies being conducted in southern california. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Avatar m tn It remains unclear whether hepatitis B virus (HBV) genotype has an influence on treatment response -- as is the case for hepatitis C virus (HCV) -- due to inconsistencies across studies and failure to account for differences in race/ethnicity, according to a report in the March 2010 Journal of Hepatology. It is well known that viral genotype has a major impact on response to interferon-based therapy for hepatitis C, but it is unclear whether this is also true for hepatitis B.
Avatar m tn I have been recently working on some clinical studies on anxiety and I was wondering if anybody knew of any clinical support services? I have looked into a few and came across some that sound pretty good. I was wondering if anybody has ever worked with TransPerfect Trial Interactive before? I checked out their website, TrialInteractive, and they seem pretty solid but I would like to hear other people's take on it. What do you guys think? or does anybody have any other suggestions?
Avatar f tn Hi, I'm in Knoxville Tn, and I'm looking for information on the trail studies for Hep C treatment for my mom. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start?
Avatar f tn Does anyone have any information on current or recent studies on this disease? I was recently diagnosed and would welcome any information. My T3 and T4 are normal but microsomal antibodies are 192(high). Thinning hair and weight gain are my concerns.
1080243 tn?1262975363 Are Nerve Conduction studies, ENG, good for help with diagnosing MS? or are they used to rule other deseasea out? Will they have explain why my toes are burning and left hand weak along with the left leg?
Avatar m tn i am looking at studies in canada right now and wonder something- i am from a smaller city and do not see any studies in it, for instance if a study is based in toronto or montreal ie., does the person have to be there present or can they have meds shipped to them and participate even if they do not live in the city? it may be a dumb question but i just do not know.
Avatar m tn Has anyone read/heard of these studies? I was reading several different sources of information that indicate a 46% increase in Ribavirin absorption with a fatty meal. One is here: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1804105/ The above study also indicates that lean body weight has an impact on levels in the blood. I'm in my first week of triple tx with Incivek so my morning dose of RBV is taken with the fatty meal for that.
Avatar f tn Lets forget about pain meds for the moment. Does the Neuro not have you on any preventative meds? Topamax, Trilipix, Trileptal, Inderal, etc? If not, you need to discuss that with the doctor. He needs to be on preventative meds. Treating migraines is a marathon and not a sprint. It takes time to find out what medication or combo of medications will work. Now, as far as pain pills....or...abortive meds. There are meds out there that specifically attack migraines.
Avatar f tn I read some studies online which was confusing .. is it true that rheumatoid arthritis patients can never be cured of Hepatitis c & b!
