After being put on the trilipix I started felling tired and having stomache problems (constipated and cramping). I went back to have my a1c check last week and it was 8.0. I have seen a few post on different web sites with people being put on trilipix having trouble controling there blood sugar levels. I can't eat hardly anything without it raising my sugar levels. For instance I ate a bowl of cherrioes @ 8:30pm and my morning reading fasting was 143.
I have come off both at times for various reasons and never recall having any problems. I guess I was lucky in this regard.
People take medication for a wide variety of ailments their entire lives. Taking it as we do is not any different. Living without it would be foolish as far as I'm concerned.
I have been on Lisinopril (bp) for 5 years and Trilipix and Simvastatin (cholesterol) for the last 3-4 years.
Here are the meds I am own - Questran - 1 packet for irritable bowl, Prozac for OCD, Allergy Injections, Methyldopa for blood pressure, and Trilipix for Triglycerides (nearly 1000), and Vitamin D. I am only 30!! I am overwieght but work hard to get rid of it with little or no results. They even checked me for Cushings. My TSH is low at 0.3 and I have a Goiter but no known thyroid problem. I have acne. Anyone know what could be causing my heartburn to be so severe?
twice a day, Amlodipine Bensylate 5mg. once a day, Trilipix 135mg. once a day and Ibuprofen 600mg. when needed. Pravastatin Sodium 40mg. once a day and Alprazolam 1mg. twice a day. I have been to my doctor and have told him about it and he just says, its anxiety. Does anyone know what might be causing this ?? I am tired of hearing that it is anxiety ! Please help !!!!!!!!!!!

I have great blood pressure...........usually 110/60 resting and no diabetes.
Lets forget about pain meds for the moment. Does the Neuro not have you on any preventative meds? Topamax, Trilipix, Trileptal, Inderal, etc? If not, you need to discuss that with the doctor. He needs to be on preventative meds. Treating migraines is a marathon and not a sprint. It takes time to find out what medication or combo of medications will work.
Now, as far as pain pills....or...abortive meds. There are meds out there that specifically attack migraines.
Is all this from me being overweight? I realize being overweight leads to problems but I just feel like mine are too many and are wreaking havoc on me stopping me from trying to get healthy. I have been exercising and eating better which helped some on my blood pressure but doesn't do anything for my triglycerides. I have had my gall bladder removed a few years ago which they though was the problem for my IBS which unfortunately I still have to take meds for to stop constant diahrea.

with Sinus/allergy problems. He tested me for strep, it was positive, and gave me med for the strep throat. The conditions have gotten worse and now my ear has started to hurt. While blowing my nose i got a real sharp pain in my right ear and now a little brownish disharge is comming out of my ear and it is continuing to hurt. it feels like there is water or some sort of liquid in it and all noises are muffled and there is a mild pain in my ear.
Took the meds as prescribed and was able to get off of them on my own, no problems. However life started crashing down on me and I was looking for them to help with the everyday stressors. I know, not good, but as of Monday this week, I was caught stealing them Hydros from work. I worked in a CBRF, and I was taken to the hospital, because I stated that I wanted to crawl in a hole...I guess that meant I was going to kill myself.
