1 month later he was not saticfied with the drop in cholestoral so he put me on a fairley new drug called Trilipix. I take 10mg of lisinopril for high blood pressure, 10 mg of crestor, and 145mg of trilipix. After being put on the trilipix I started felling tired and having stomache problems (constipated and cramping). I went back to have my a1c check last week and it was 8.0.

I have been on Lisinopril (bp) for 5 years and Trilipix and Simvastatin (cholesterol) for the last 3-4 years.

Here are the meds I am own - Questran - 1 packet for irritable bowl, Prozac for OCD, Allergy Injections, Methyldopa for blood pressure, and Trilipix for Triglycerides (nearly 1000), and Vitamin D. I am only 30!! I am overwieght but work hard to get rid of it with little or no results. They even checked me for Cushings. My TSH is low at 0.3 and I have a Goiter but no known thyroid problem. I have acne. Anyone know what could be causing my heartburn to be so severe?

Recently , I was prescribed a fenofibrate (Trilipix 135 mg) along with Crestor. My cardio wanted this for helping in getting my triglycerides down. I have not had a lipid profile done since starting on this med two months ago. However, since being a diabetic , I check my blood glucose (BG) many times during the day and what I am noticing is a clear trend in the BG numbers going lower at least over the last month or so.

How do I find out about trials?...will my doc tell me and ask if thats something I'm interested in them or do I have to find them for myself?...Im just wonderinf...

i was on a trial for virimadine so i was treated with that and interfuron... would i be eligible for any of the new trials for non-responders ? im guessing no because i have absolutely no results from this trial they told me NOTHING except after 6 months it wasnt working and they stoped it... i could try and get on a new trial for treatment naive and i guess i could just lie and say i never treated...

I was wondering if anyone knows of... or could direct me in how to find trials for non-responders in the southern California area.

I was in the last boceprevir trial. Like epiphiny says, it is to get a baseline and suitability. It's all pretty standard in trials and would be a good idea for most people starting TX, too. To be honest interferon can cause bizarre problems like lung damage, heart palpitations, etc. Not too common, but it happens.

I agree. The benefits outweigh the few, (if any at all) side effects from taking the benzo's every day for over six years. I'm 26 now without insurance, and they are the cheapest of the meds I am on. Trilipix is 184USD, Crestor is 189USD, and even generic gabapentin is 154USD. Lexapro is about 140UDS. Generic Klonopin is about 10USD. Remeron is about the same. And Inderal is 4USD. This is all per month, and I need every one of them.

twice a day, Amlodipine Bensylate 5mg. once a day, Trilipix 135mg. once a day and Ibuprofen 600mg. when needed. Pravastatin Sodium 40mg. once a day and Alprazolam 1mg. twice a day. I have been to my doctor and have told him about it and he just says, its anxiety. Does anyone know what might be causing this ?? I am tired of hearing that it is anxiety ! Please help !!!!!!!!!!!

Since its a school they ask patients who qualify to volenteer for drug trials when they are avalible. I was asked to take part in one that is for a nausea medication. So basically when i go in for my c section they will admister the medication or placebo when i get the spinal/epidural before the surgery. I would really like to take part and volenteer but at the same time id rather not be puking while they are cutting me open....

Except for the clinical trials as far as I know there is not yet any treatment available for HCV without interferon. For genotype 1, I believe it will be a few years before anything is available. By the way your English is fine.

t know if I can post this or not, so will not post the actual information yet, but I received a magazine from a very good hospital in my area and in it was information about the ovarian cancer clinical trials that they are doing and a number to call if someone is interested. i would really like to find a web site that line items in a simple way what trials are out there..and explains a little about each one...something that could be printed off...i also see dmhrdh did 48 weeks..what about the 24 week trials..seems like somewhere this list has to exist....or maybe someone here could list them....thanks....

I would like some feedback good and bad but in the end I realize its my decision. This waiting game has put my life on hold and affecting me financially only. thanks everyone for your response. Sorry to hear this happened, and what a good question you raise. I'm not in a study; I declined a couple of treatment trials for practical reasons (travel involved). I did go over the consent forms I would have signed if I'd participated, but don't recall anything specific on this topic. It would be handled differently here, regardless. Provincal health insurance would cover a medically necessary procedure regardless of the cause. I would think in a situation like this, in the U.

I am going to post this as a question again on the forum to see if anyone has any experience with these trials or know of anyother such as I saw in a pod cast from the UC Davis from Dr Lorenzo Rossaro from schering, vertex and novartis. Also was mentioned the Sanchez and Berg studies.
