1 month later he was not saticfied with the drop in cholestoral so he put me on a fairley new drug called Trilipix. I take 10mg of lisinopril for high blood pressure, 10 mg of crestor, and 145mg of trilipix. After being put on the trilipix I started felling tired and having stomache problems (constipated and cramping). I went back to have my a1c check last week and it was 8.0.

Here are the meds I am own - Questran - 1 packet for irritable bowl, Prozac for OCD, Allergy Injections, Methyldopa for blood pressure, and Trilipix for Triglycerides (nearly 1000), and Vitamin D. I am only 30!! I am overwieght but work hard to get rid of it with little or no results. They even checked me for Cushings. My TSH is low at 0.3 and I have a Goiter but no known thyroid problem. I have acne. Anyone know what could be causing my heartburn to be so severe?

I have been on Lisinopril (bp) for 5 years and Trilipix and Simvastatin (cholesterol) for the last 3-4 years.

Recently , I was prescribed a fenofibrate (Trilipix 135 mg) along with Crestor. My cardio wanted this for helping in getting my triglycerides down. I have not had a lipid profile done since starting on this med two months ago. However, since being a diabetic , I check my blood glucose (BG) many times during the day and what I am noticing is a clear trend in the BG numbers going lower at least over the last month or so.

I agree. The benefits outweigh the few, (if any at all) side effects from taking the benzo's every day for over six years. I'm 26 now without insurance, and they are the cheapest of the meds I am on. Trilipix is 184USD, Crestor is 189USD, and even generic gabapentin is 154USD. Lexapro is about 140UDS. Generic Klonopin is about 10USD. Remeron is about the same. And Inderal is 4USD. This is all per month, and I need every one of them.

twice a day, Amlodipine Bensylate 5mg. once a day, Trilipix 135mg. once a day and Ibuprofen 600mg. when needed. Pravastatin Sodium 40mg. once a day and Alprazolam 1mg. twice a day. I have been to my doctor and have told him about it and he just says, its anxiety. Does anyone know what might be causing this ?? I am tired of hearing that it is anxiety ! Please help !!!!!!!!!!!

Hello! I have a question about my lab results. I am a 35 year old female. No medical problems, not overweight, do not drink, smoke ect. Try to live a "clean" lifestyle. Although I do suffer alot of stress and have anxiety issues. I had my cholesterol tested and the results were...... total 145 Trigs 99 VLDL 19.8 LDL 94.93 HDL 30.27 Okay good, excpet for the HDL which scares me to no ends........ I have great blood pressure...........usually 110/60 resting and no diabetes.

Lets forget about pain meds for the moment. Does the Neuro not have you on any preventative meds? Topamax, Trilipix, Trileptal, Inderal, etc? If not, you need to discuss that with the doctor. He needs to be on preventative meds. Treating migraines is a marathon and not a sprint. It takes time to find out what medication or combo of medications will work. Now, as far as pain pills....or...abortive meds. There are meds out there that specifically attack migraines.

My diahrea issue is helped with Questran (Cholestyramine) and they have me on Trilipix for my Tryglycerides. I had terrible stomach cramps and had a colonoscopy that only revealed a spastic colon. After that (sometime around 04 or 05) my hormones were off on a routine blood test. The doc suspected it was my gall bladder or thyroid and had both tested and the gall bladder worked 1%.

and 173lbs non-smoker. I got my test results back and my total cholesterol went down from 165 on 40mg of simvastatin/tri-cor to 150 on 20mg of simvastatin only. However my triglycerides went from 93 to 210. Is that 210 level significant for a male? Any other natural suggestions on lowering this? Should I take more fish oil?

How long did it take for blood work and pap results to come back for everyone?

Ok so 14 week results are hsv2 <0.50. Can I treat this as conclusive? Has been a long road to get to here hopefully will be able to move in with life!

I was diagnosed just a month ago. There is a book called "Androgen disorders in Women." It was written by Theresa Cheung. Its all about PCOS and the different treatment options. It also explains your symptoms and helps you understand what is going on. I highly recommend it. I have heard that metformin really helps. But it is not standard of care or approved by the FDA yet. Although there are many doctors who are using it and it is effective.
