1 month later he was not saticfied with the drop in cholestoral so he put me on a fairley new drug called Trilipix. I take 10mg of lisinopril for high blood pressure, 10 mg of crestor, and 145mg of trilipix. After being put on the trilipix I started felling tired and having stomache problems (constipated and cramping). I went back to have my a1c check last week and it was 8.0.
I have been on Lisinopril (bp) for 5 years and Trilipix and Simvastatin (cholesterol) for the last 3-4 years.
Here are the meds I am own - Questran - 1 packet for irritable bowl, Prozac for OCD, Allergy Injections, Methyldopa for blood pressure, and Trilipix for Triglycerides (nearly 1000), and Vitamin D. I am only 30!! I am overwieght but work hard to get rid of it with little or no results. They even checked me for Cushings. My TSH is low at 0.3 and I have a Goiter but no known thyroid problem. I have acne. Anyone know what could be causing my heartburn to be so severe?
I agree. The benefits outweigh the few, (if any at all) side effects from taking the benzo's every day for over six years. I'm 26 now without insurance, and they are the cheapest of the meds I am on. Trilipix is 184USD, Crestor is 189USD, and even generic gabapentin is 154USD. Lexapro is about 140UDS. Generic Klonopin is about 10USD. Remeron is about the same. And Inderal is 4USD. This is all per month, and I need every one of them.
twice a day, Amlodipine Bensylate 5mg. once a day, Trilipix 135mg. once a day and Ibuprofen 600mg. when needed. Pravastatin Sodium 40mg. once a day and Alprazolam 1mg. twice a day. I have been to my doctor and have told him about it and he just says, its anxiety. Does anyone know what might be causing this ?? I am tired of hearing that it is anxiety ! Please help !!!!!!!!!!!
Lets forget about pain meds for the moment. Does the Neuro not have you on any preventative meds? Topamax, Trilipix, Trileptal, Inderal, etc? If not, you need to discuss that with the doctor. He needs to be on preventative meds. Treating migraines is a marathon and not a sprint. It takes time to find out what medication or combo of medications will work.
Now, as far as pain pills....or...abortive meds. There are meds out there that specifically attack migraines.

I just sent my husband to get me some benedryl - but I'm wondering if I should bother my doctor about this or?? Is it possible that this itching will only get worse? Honestly, I'm not looking forward to jumping from med to med - looking for something that I don't have a reaction to ... oh well, if I must, I must.

Iam 34 weeks pregnant and I'm itching so bad everywhere especially on my feet, arms, and hands its that normal??? Part of the pregnancy ??????
I've been itching here for about 2 1/2 months in the same spot which is my buttocks, right side of waist, thighs, penis shaft when I was circumcised and last but not least my gential area and its like everytime I wake there's a new bump on my scrotum..i just started getting these symptoms last month and I tried everything from goldbond itching cream, hydrocortisone I even went to the doctor and they said it was just am allergic reaction and they gave me a steroid shot..
I've been dealing with penile itching months now, I have to black scab bumps on my penis head and followed by dryness and flakyness.. The bumps on my penis head don't itch at all just has a black scab and tender..And i have a rash on my penis shaft and scrotum and it feels like something is crawling down there sometimes..I've seen 2 doctors they said it could be mollcusum contagious because I've been itching in other places..
I have cholestasis with it has the same systom of itching, there's benadryl cream as well as the pills,pills make you sleepy I take that at night just so I can get a good night sleep, there's also reactin that's doesn't make you sleepy at all witch sometimes I take during the day just to help with the itching.
I've been having the same itching problem just on the outer thighs and arms. Im waitning to see my dr next week to get it checked out. I was reading something called cholestasis of pregnancy which is an intense itching on hands and feet but sometimes it spreads throughout the body. Hopefully its nothing.
I'm 39weeks and my hands/feet have been itching. Is there anything I can do to stop it? Is anyone else having this problem?
I'm 25 weeks and 6 days my stomach and my sides have been itchy for the past 3 days. Has this happened to someone else? If so what if anything helped with the itching?
