T TASTE ANYTHING.....CAN THIS BE CAUSED BY MS OR NOT....SOME TIMES MY TASTE BUDS GO AWAY FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS BUT THEY COME BACK, BUT THIS IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT FEELING THAT I'M EXPERIENCING......I ALSO HAVE SOME SINUS PROBLEMS BUT NEVER HAD THIS WITH MY SINUS INFECTIONS BEFORE......WHAT DO YOU THINK.....I'M REALLY STARTING TO WORRY....IT FEELS LIKE I HAVE A PIECE OF TAPE FROM THE BACK TO THE FRONT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY TONGUE.....WHAT DO I DO.....CAN YOU GIVE ME AN ANSWER ASAP, PLEASE...
The tip of my tongue taste buds seem to be swollen, itches to the touch and hurts a little if I scrape my teeth on the tongue. Prior to that I used a tongue scraper multiple times to clean my tongue. It has been over 2 weeks now and there are no signs of healing. The tongue feels the same though the rest of the mouth is not that bad like it was before.
ve had these abnormal spots at the back of my tongue in little clusters that look like inflamed taste buds. They are raised and they are the same color as the rest of my tongue. They are larger than the rest of the taste buds that are at the back of my tongue. Some of them are larger than others, but they do not affect the taste buds towards the center.They aren't itchy or smelly or anything.
She gave me a mouth rinse to make it better, but it actually makes it hurt even more, and it usually bothers me more on the side and tip of my tongue. I noticed enlarged taste buds, but my tongue does not have a white coating and it's not red, just on a few small spots. It's very strange and I'm frustrated! Does anyone have any idea what could be? It also has a few "cuts" on top.
Okay, this is really weird and I'm not sure even how to explain it so bear with me.
The best way I can paint a picture is to say this - you know how when you brush your teeth, your tongue gets a layer of tooth paste on it? Or maybe when you're eating something and your tongue ends up colored? Well, this happened to me, except there's a circle in the back that doesn't have it. There's just a spot missing and what looks like part of a taste bud hanging off?
I have a couple of bumps on the back of my tongue, they're the same color as my tongue and they don't hurt or anything like that, I just noticed them by brushing my teeth. I've had them for around 3 days now I think, and I'm really concerned about them and scared to tell my parents or go to a doctor yet. Do you have any suggestions on what it could be? I'm really scared it's an STD.

since one month I have a reddish patch in the middle of my tongue, between the center and the back where are the big taste buds.I normally have a quite whitish tongue, and about one month ago this red part started to be very visible. It looks like the top of the taste buds "lost their hair", and got reddish. This just bothered me visually but not pain was there, until a couple of weeks ago, it started to feel like I "burned"my tongue.
And now I have to flavor my water or just gulp it down without letting it sit on my taste buds.
Sunday morning I woke up to find two taste buds on the tip of my tongue had changed from red to completely white. By mid afternoon the two white taste buds had several others in the same area gone white, oh and the pain, well I'm pretty sure most of us have accidentally bitten our tongue. Ok now multiply that pain by two. Ok now at around 10:00 Pm I checked my tongue, by this time there were a lot more white clusters, but 99.
I recently had oral sex with a woman and about 2 weeks later I started to have this feeling like my tongue was burned. Looks like my taste buds are raised and red. I can't see anything in my throat, only on my tongue. I looked at the pictures of herpes and it seems really red and close together which isn't what I have. They seem like irritated taste buds. I can`t really find a picture that looks like what I have but i still have that burned feeling on my tongue after 3 and half day.
i too had oral sex with my wife nonetheless, and about 2 days later it felt like i had a hair or something on the back of my tongue, i looked in the mirror and behold there were the normal larger taste buds, but there were also larger red bumps, similar to the taste buds. i am hella paranoid and think it is herpes, i'm going to the doctor to find out for sure what in the heck it is.

Then I was given a much stronger antibiotic and the infection went away after 3 months but I am still having white foamy mucus from my nose and a stuffy nose. Now my taste buds have brown tips on them. My tongue has not had brown freckles before.
While taking the medicine I 1st noticed them, but now 3 weeks after the antibiotic are done and I have about 20 brown taste buds. I went to the dentist today and he said they are just taste buds. But I told him they have never been there before.
