Hi...I really appreciate all the work that you do on this forum as it's very helpful. I've now had a sore throat for 3 months post my possible exposure. I also have ongoing stomach pains in my gut (cramping) and red bumps that don't go away on my stomach. I started the sore throat about 2 weeks after exposure and it has not gone away and the stomach issues have kept coming. I've had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy and blood work, all ok...no issues.
but the dry mouth and white coated tongue still continuing and feel very uncomfort with mouth and throat pain..I lost my weight, swollen gland on
Neck which may due to throat pain as per doctor said..at the same time before 3months I did a mistake that is licking a lady nipple for few minutes..so I thought, am at the risk of HIV.so I took rapid test after 9weeks of possible exposure..but the test result came as negative..
recently i have been suffering a while with stomach cramps pains and belching even on an empty stomach. on september 26th of last year i did a test for h-pylori and endoscopy and ultrasound and blood work and everything came back norma..then months later i stupidly took an expired antibiotic and all the symptoms came back (only took 2 pills of amoxiciilin augemented ER-..etc)
all the gasses cramps and abdominal discomfort and belching came back. i am a male of 28 years old..
I then noticed that the left side of the tip on my tongue sticks out farther than the right and that the right side of my tongue looks thicker than the left. I also noticed that my tongue, even at rest, seems to be sitting entirely off center in my month to the left.
Should I be worried? I do have a follow up appointment with my neuro in a week for a follow up on migraines that I was having. But I'm a little anxious and thinking about trying to get an appointment this week.
My daughter who is 23 and has had her gallbladder out almost 3 yrs ago tongue turned black after vomiting this evening. I remember when she had her surgery her tongue did that and the nurse called the doctor and he said somethng about the acid in her stomach, I think? Anyway I was wondering what is causing this?

Exactly same problem with me, I am at 8 week post exposure and my last results at 28 days for all STD's and HIV was negative. I am confused between STD and Stomach problem as, I also have stomach issues and feel some kind of bacterial infection. I will get retest for all STD and HIV at 3 months. I had acidicic stomach in my teens where i would puke and stomach pain and diareahs and it turned out to be anxiety related. And when I was super young about 18, I messed up and did something very similar to your situation and puked for days out of disgust and remorse. I'm not a doc. But that's what it sounds like to me. Plus when thrush gets out of control it will make you itchy all over. Herpes will come out as a painful large blister.

I was having intermittent swelling under my tongue, the back of my tongue, the back of my throat/roof of my mouth and my jaw. At first it was alot of swelling and discomfort. The swelling in my tongue became very intense and I was put on a 5 day course of prednisone while beginning daily claritin and a nasal spray. I felt great on the prednisone, all of the swelling went away and I could eat again.
My stomach continued to bother me for a week after that, so I went to the doctor, they did blood tests and checked me and diagnosed me with stomach flu which they said has been going around. Since then my stomach is okay but still kind of uncomfortable but I think that is stress related - constantly worrying that I have HIV. No fever, no nightsweats, no sore throat though.
I also noticed my tongue is white-ish - it may be its always been like that though.
The 9 and tenth week i went with stomach pain and still have muascle spasms and joint and muscle pain from time to time wich is a dull pain. I dont have any enlarged lyhmp nodes or sore throught and fever. For the last 8 months seams that i have a lot of acid reflux cuz i do burp a lot for no reason.
Because of my remote location, a trip to the ENT was very expensive and I declined to go. Eventually it did clear up and heal and go away, and I went on with my life.
Fast forward to last week, I've been feeling a bit stressed and noticed my heart burn and IBS acting up a bit. I did basically nothing for it, hoping it would just go away. The post nasal drip / throat clearing and dysphagia started again a few days ago.
Since I have had my question answered on this forum in the pass about cunninglus not being a risk my question revolves around that my tongue is senistive to some foods and also my stomach at times feels full. I am able to eat.
It has been forty one days since contact and my doctor has told me that I would have by this time uncontrolable diarehea assuming I had HIV...which the direhea I do not have. But what about my stomach and tongue?
Do you have/use a tongue scrubber or tongue scraper? Bad smells come from bacteria on the tongue (the white stuff). Try Therabreath brand mouth wash, dentist recommended it to my fiance who was having similar issues. He started using a tongue gel and tongue scraper ans the mouthwash after brushing his teeth and it's helped temendously.
I do sometimes experience some burning on the right hand side of my face and tongue numbness. On occasions the tongue numbness is really bad but usually not long lasting but of late often my tongue on the underneath but just feels numb or like pressure or tight sensation. When this occurs I seem to have some type of head pain but more like a random shooting pain.
ve also have gotten small red and white sores in my mouth underneath my tongue and on my lips (total of three or four). Besides the coating and sores, I still have swollen lymph nodes as well as some skin on the chest right below the neck being red, no texture change or bumps/lesions yet. Swallowing is not painful and I don't have a sore throat or cough anymore.
Potential exposure would have been a little more than three weeks ago. Can I get some opinions?
