Is there any problem applying cream with terbinafine hydrochloride 1% and benzyl alcohol 1%(Terbest cream) or cream with ketoconazole 2% and beclomethasone dipropionate .025%(Toaf-B cream) on SCROTUM. Which is better? Is there any anti-fungal creams we should avoid on genitals?
I have changed soaps from a moistorizing body wash to Lever2000 and began taking showers in the morning and at night. I used Lamisil AT Antifungal, Terbinafine Hydrochloride 1% Spray Pump for 7 days while waiting for 1% hydrocortisone cream and 1% Clotrimazole Lamisil cream to be delivered. I saw no change with the Terbinafine Hydrochloride.
I have had this weird semi-whitish spot on the head of my penis for weeks now. So I did some research and I think it might be a penis ringworm. Its not an STD because I'm a virgin. I dont' play sports but I exercise in the gym 3 days a week. And at one time I had to pee all the time but it stopped about 2 and a half weeks ago. So I tried lotirmin ultra with 1% butenafine hydrochloride for a week and a half but I didn't notice any change. So now I have limasil with 1% Terbinafine.
Three weeks back I was diagnosed by a dermatologist who suggested me to take up VDRL and Herpes IgG test and meanwhile apply Zimig (Terbinafine Hydrochloride 1 %) cream for 7 days. The Test Results:
1. VDRL,Serum --- Non Reactive
2. Herpes Simplex Virus-1 IgG, Serum -------Range 0.01--------- Reference Range < 0.8 Negative
3. Herpes Simplex Virus-2 IgG, Serum -------Range 0.02--------- Reference Range < 0.
Also wear cotton underwears and change them twice a day of local antifungal cream(terbinafine, clotrimazole, econazole, ketoconazole, miconazole) and oral antifungal drugs are the mainstay of treatment.

I already tried applying Lamisil fungus cream for a week with out change. Then i tried a 2% Ketoconazole cream for around 7 days now and i don't see much of a change neither.
I attached 3 pictures. 2 are in normal state and the third one is after applying the Ketoconazole cream which makes the spots more even red.
I try to always properly dry the area after taking a shower, to remove as much moisture as possible but so far haven't been successful with treating this.
ve tried many things to try and cure it, from Neosporin, Lotrimin Ultra and hydrocortizone cream. The hydrocortizone seems to do the most relieving the symptoms, but it still itches when touched. I took a photo with my cell phone which I have attached a photo for you guys to help.
Here are a few bits of info that also might help: I haven't been washing myself very regularly lately... so it is warm and moist frequently. I also had oral sex about 9 days ago, but it wasn't rough.

250mg of terbinafine hydrochloride for 30 days. I also recommend shaving your head, keeping it dry, cool, exposed to air and sunlight.
05% cream , but walgreens suggested me to go with Terbinafine Hydrochloride cream 1%....Please confirm if Iam on right medication........I also bough centaphil cleanser am feeling ok now.....

i had red, itchy, swell penis forehead last year & i gone to doctor and he tested me for HIV 1&2 antibodies, VDRL, HERPES simplex virus 1&2 IGG-IGM & TSH and all test came normal (negative). Then my doc told me that it is candidal balanoposthitis & he gave me fusidic acid cream with terbinafine cream and some tablets for infection & infection cured 70% but itching never gone.
FYI, terbinafine is Lamisil cream. Terbinafine is the generic name. Otherwise, you will have to see a doctor.
I have been diagnose with a skin fungus infection (dermamytocosis) and the dermatologist has prescribed Lamisil (terbinafine hydrochloride) very strong tablets with quite a few side effects. I would like to try natural alternatives like apple cider vinegar but could the infection spread out or perhaps can resolved by itself over time.

The leviquin actually cured my prostatis, I took amoxicillin for the UTI, which then went to the prostate. I'm still suffering from the male thrush. I'm currently on diflucan 150mg every 3 days 4 doses total. I take my last dose tomorrow. It's starting to look better now thankfully but I think the creams I used originally cleared the thrush but I kept applying them with a steroid cream for 3 weeks and I think that caused me problems.
Topical Terbinafine cream did not help doctor is treating with Ketoconazole 2% shampoo and topical Clindamycin 1%. I may be noticing a 10% increase in my normal gray follicles at two weeks treatment. I would love to send a picture.
I have used terbinafine cream for a week and my fungal infection almost went away.but after a week i started oral fluconazole with terbinafine cream.after few days again some fungal infection came...is it the side effect of fluconazole. ???

The derm did not think it was fungal but actually said it may be contact dermatitis, meaning something that was coming in contact with my skin was giving me an allergic reaction. She went ahead and gave me Synalar, a corticosteriod cream. I used that for about two weeks and the rash pretty much went away completely. However, after stopping the Synalar for a couple of days, the rash was back and worse than ever. So back I went to the dermatologist.
