thanks for your help. will try to get doctor to do free T3 and Free T4 tests next time. Am having cold hands and feet, bowel movements are getting more irregular again and skin is getting dryer and appetite is increasing--these are some of reasons think dose still needs to be increased. Sleep is better because of cpap machine. Am on high doses of heart meds which can also increase pulse which is 1 reason dr is relucant to raise thyriod meds. lisinopril--10 mg, 1/2 .

On administration, the capsule results in detectable plasma levels within 2 hours and peak plasma levels between 10 and 14 hours. Half life is 5-8 hrs. So, it should take about 2-3days for complete elimination and the recovery of peripheral vasodilatation.

I have recently been having a problem with sinus tachycardia (elevated heart rate) and I am on medication for it. (cartia xt). My heart rate still tends to be on the high side.
I have a wisdom tooth which has cavities in it, and it is hurting me so I am going to my dentist in two days. I am afraid the pain medication the use will raise my heart rate. Should I be worried about this?
Spotting is normal during pregnancy and if it's brown then that's also a good sign, if it's bright red then that's more of a worry but Brown is old blood
Brown discharge isn't very good.. You might want to call your Dr right away.. And if it starts to get worse like.. When you whip is there more the before..
Amiodarone is a very strong arrythma medication and is usually used on folks who have had afib for a very long time and other meds dont work... Amiodarone has some pretty serious side effects.... and its my personal opinion, but I wouldnt want to be on it unless it was absolutely necessary. I had afib for 12-13 years and finally had if fixed a couple of years ago with an ablation...I dont know if the BP symptoms your having would have anything to do with the Amiodarone.
Last month she was given Orofer xt 1d and Amlogard 5mg id in addition to the above medication. She is suffering from great trouble on account of this brain sounds. What problem she might have in her ears. Is she require to stop any medication. What is the precaution to be taken to reduce the sound and what is the treatment for this sound. Be careful taking diltiazem (lisinopril). I was on it for medium high blood pressure for 5 years and finally stopped taking it because it had caused deep depression, not to feelings of suicide though. It seemed to build up, so be on the lookout for feelings of not caring and hopelessness. Now I'm on Verapamil and am doing OK except for the ankle swelling. Tried another CB'er (Cartia XT or Cardizem) and had the same edema effect.
Im 62 and do take meds for high bloodpressure. Dr. Changed my blood pressure med. to cartia xt after I had a bad svt attack that put me in the hospital hoping that the meds would calm my heart down (on this med. I was feeling tired and out of breath at times . ) one this meds. I had another attack-dr. Sent me to see a EP he found the problem right away. There was a cancelation and the following week went in for the ablation. Like i said above everything went fine.
My only theory is that your blood pressure is low. Verapamil and other calcium channel blockers are known to dilate the blood vessels (that's why they are used to treat hypertension) and when they do, a normal person with normal blood pressure will get an increased heart rate to compensate. The fact that it's normalizing by lying down supports this theory (because you aren't exposed to gravity the same way and blood won't run down into your legs and stomach).
