Avatar m tn i was 130 befor now im.... haha is there anyway to keep weight off except baby weight? i know its not good to diet, and the only idea i have is to stay away from the fatty foods? which i do but im bursting out weight like its nothing?!
Avatar f tn Hyperthyroidism is usually connected to weight loss, not weight gain. Are you sure you haven't made a swing to hypo? Are you taking an Anti-Thyroid Medication? If so, which one. Avatar f tn I had to stop working in a very fast paced job after I had two failed back surgeries. Slowly my weight went up. Then I lost about 10 pounds but can't seem to lose more. Is the weight I am at now going to be my set-point? I am limited as to exercise but I do walk on my tred mill daily. I have sworn off diet pills. ALI made me so sick I lost control of my bowels. Thank goodness that is over. Any suggestions would be helpful.

It is possible to stay at/near your goal weight provided it is within the normal range of weight for your height, age and sex. If you are below the norm, your body may try to hang on to the calories to promote your health and combat being underweight.
Avatar n tn My sister lost 10 pounds total in her pregnancy, and had a healthy 7 lb baby! She was just to sick to ever keep anything down the whole time. Reading what you are supposed to do online is not always a good idea, talk to your doctor so they can reassure you that everything is fine!
1273267 tn?1271692288 I would only put away one towel, or undies, etc each time I had fresh laundry, so I had to walk to each room multiple times...Little things really help to lose the weight, evenutally it really started to fall off as I got my fitness back. Have you tried St. John's wort for your depression? It works really well for many people. Just DO NOT take it if you are on anti-depressants already. Cheers!
Avatar n tn Help, My Son is now 16 months and just refuses to eat most finger foods, he even is starting to not eat stage 3 which is what we give him now to get some nutrients in him. He will chew and mash it but refuses to swallow and spits it out. Most of the time as soon as he sees a fork or spoon before taking the first bite he's already throwing his arms up and screaming. This is every meal now. He appears to be hungry because he will point at it when he wants it but to no luck.

2175366 tn?1337651654 Some people get good results with "superfoods" such as bee pollen, royal jelly, spirulina because they are so highly concentrated with nutrients. Adrenal aids such as eleuthero and rhodiola can be helpful as well.

I have opted to skip a few days between the smoothies to see if there is a difference in my stool and yes, today, that are somewhat (minor) more consistent and compacted. HELP. Should I be worried?

1007532 tn?1332767926 Yep MrsPincince is totally right...you can have tuna in moderation - once a week a sandwich won't hurt you, maybe even twice...you should avoid raw seafood and deli meat that may be suspicious (if it isn't VERY fresh, avoid it)... limit your caffeine to less than 350mg a day...depending on the coffee or soda you ingest that's approximately 7-9 cans of soda or 1-3 cups of coffee.
Avatar n tn Rice has a lot of starch in it and isn't the best for losing weight. I know it's a staple in your country, so if you're going to eat it, try eating smaller portions than your normally would. Also try adding vegetables to your meal, along with a high protein food... I'm not familiar with the foods available to you, so you have to decide "what" to eat. Just make sure you eat more vegetables and protein, like fish, than starchy foods, like rice.
Avatar f tn So, I'm 14 weeks along and I just keep losing weight. I don't really get it. In the early weeks a had terrible all day sickness so I understood when I lost weight then, but around 10-11 weeks it had almost subsided completely and I was able to eat normally. Since then I haven't been able to gain even a single pound, in fact I've lost even more weight, and it's starting to worry me. Is anyone else experiencing this or know something I could try to make some healthy gains?

Avatar m tn There is somebody out there!! Thanks for the comment they have been noted. My wife tends to keep an eye on my eating habits thank goodness because I have little self control :). We have loads of pumpkin in the garden, never thought of eating the seed though!!!!

Avatar f tn I had an accident some years ago and fell off the wagon with pain medication but I still knew enough to go back to the meetings and hang on to the people who supported me and didn't judge me. It took me a while to get clean again and get back but I am back now and, like I said, it is where my friends are (plus some other special people in my life) and it is where I can go with any problem, any time and they accept me. I don't know any place else I can do that. I am rambling.

Avatar n tn The doctor can not give me an answer as to why and says I do not qualify for reduction with my insurance. The insurance says I need to lose weight first. I am 5' 7" with a pant size of 16. I weigh 250 pounds and have a breast size of 38 band and JJ (England size) cup which equals out to an M in USA size. I feel that even that size is way to large for my back and since I have also had back problems due to it. Every time I get a new bra they grow again.

My Shrink, now FORMER Shrink, refused to listen to me nor to my primary physician...he simply thought I ate too much (no one can possibly gain as much weight as I did in a mere two months by just eating).
Avatar f tn s a tall order to lose 30 lbs in just 2 months. Loosing weight its a marathon and if you want to lose weight for good aim for 2lbs loss per week. Make sure you eat healthy food and drinks and not go over your daily calories allowance. The are plenty of websites where you can calculate how many calories you need every day. Food dairy will help you keep an eye on how much you eat and drink. When it comes to exercises go for cardio workout. Find something that you can enjoy.
