I gained 60 pounds in 2 years that's because I hade a baby then got pregnant a couple months later so I never got the chance to lose weight. Over the years I've just kept the weight I can't seem to lose weight, last year I did p90x didn't see much results so I got discouraged I started working out again its been about 3 months and I still haven't lost any weight.

When I say unable to lose weight trust me I hired a personal trainer and worked out 5-6 days a week as well as kept a weekly diary following popular weight loss programs like The Fat Smash Diet and Weight Watchers...I was told I must be doing something wrong when I know that I wasnt.
Avatar f tn Try reversing your workouts to put cardio exercises last. I've been told that is the way to lose the most weight. Try stretching exercises for 15 minutes before lifting. Good luck.
Avatar f tn There's plenty of fast ways to lose weight, (ECA stacks, MasterCleanse, etc) but they're not healthy, don't last, and you suffer for them! (Vomiting, jitters, insomnia, vertigo, headaches, spasms... the list goes on!) Easy ways to shed lbs are to just cut back on portion sizes, cut back on processed carbs, drink more water, and make time to do some exercise on a regular basis. Fast? No. Healthy? Yes!
Avatar f tn Please help! I had back surgery in 2009 and put on alot of weight due to constant pain and neuropathy. I have not worked since and have been sedentary for past 6 yrs. I decided 6 weeks ago to do something about it. As of 6 weeks ago I started walking 45 min a day, use an eliptical twice a day 30 min each time, cut out all carbs do only spark, water, protein shakes veggies. Went to dr yesterday and have not lost even a pound. Feel so angry depressed sad etc... What am I doing wrong?

Several stone overweight. Recently been diagnosed with emphysema. Had recent heart echo - no abnormalities found My symptoms from the head down. All have only appeared since stopping smoking 2.5 years ago Stupidly greasy hair, dont even get 24 hours before its greasy again.

What I've found the best way to lose weight is to find your maintenance level (you can find a rough calculator online) that will tell you about how many calories you burn in an avg day. Subtract around 250 calories and you've found your ideal calorie amount! Keep in mind you should take exercise into account as well. You should be shooting around -2 lbs a week.
