I was on the net today and read somewhere that black tea actually INCREASES ur chances of getting pregnant (http://www.natural-homeremedies.com/blog/how-to-avoid-infertility-and-enjoy-healthy-pregnancy/) But this goes against the "caffien is bad for the pregnancy" rule. Does anyone have any input?

Avatar n tn Nuts are super healthy while pregnant:) I don't buy into the thing they say that if you eat but whole pregnant is cases allergies for the baby. That doesn't make sense in anyway.

I am so viligant for my allergies, read labels every time I buy something, not allowing any wheat/dairy into my house at all and I still get sick every couple of weeks. So tired of it! I was up all last night with horrible diarrhea, asthma attacks and nausea. Now I'm tired, nausea, freezing cold and can't think straight and still wheezing. Everything I ate yesterday was fine and I've had before!

Avatar f tn I was like this too at the beginning of my 3rd trimester. so I would just eat super healthy foods In small portions and force myself to eat it. since my baby has dropped I'm much hungrier because there is more room on my belly now that she has dropped off of my diaphram and upper belly.
Avatar f tn I am overwieght, I would like to lead a vegitarian lifestyle, but everytime I cut meats out I gain wieght and become tired and super emotional. I supplement with protien in the form of eggs, peanut butter, and legumes but that does not seem to help. Any suggestions, I would really like to stop killing animals for my own purpose, but i would also like to be able to get through a day without loads of caffiene and B supplements in the form of energy drinks too.
Avatar f tn Try to go for foods with folic acid, it helps the babies development. Avoid sugary and salty foods, green leafy veggies are your bestfriend now. Note: fruits do have sugar, so eating a lot could be a bad thing.
Avatar n tn Sounds like you need extra protein, so maybe try adding to your diet eggs, cheese, chickpeas, other beans/legumes, some canned fish, fruit/veg smoothie with protein powder and plain yoghurt, nuts and seeds (I make up bliss balls to snack on as I don't like nuts and seeds by themselves, but once you add some dried fruit or a bit of honey, they are much more edible).

Avatar m tn Needing help. Super itchy, but there is no rash. Itch seems to be tied with body hair. Hair standing on end and moving. Yesterday was face and head. Today legs and arms. I have been dealing with this for awhile. It is driving me nuts. Been to doctor twice, they do not seem concerned. I have tried lotion, please if you have sugestions please share. Seems like its comes and goes. Will be itchy for a couple days and then be mild for a few days. Not sure what else to do.

Avatar f tn I am only 10wks5days, but I'm excitedly nervous about that stage of pregnancy! Kinda freaks me out now to know I will feel a baby moving from the inside!! But I'm sure it's amazing when it happens. I can imagine it getting annoying sometimes though too! I have heard from friends/family that babies move more when we are at rest. So maybe keep moving? Clean or go for a walk?

2217169 tn?1371483722 I had the horrible restless legs and the thing where you fall asleep for a few minutes, then jerk awake and feel super anxious. For me, potassium helped a little with the restless legs. I just didn't sleep much for the first several days. For me it was better to not fight it, and just stay on this site, listen to music, or watch a funny movie. The more I tried to make myself relax and sleep, the worse it got. I had to go with the flow. Hang in there. It really does get better.

But this past month ALL I want is greasy fast food burgers n fries! It's all I crave! I figured we crave certain foods while pregnant, because we're possibly lacking something that's in those foods. But what could I be lacking that's in unhealthy fast food?? Do I give in to the craving/temptation?
