I feel this on the left side of my body. Pins and needle feeling down my left arm, and my face on the left side and cheek is really tingling. I go see the Dr. this next week. I have had symptoms like this before and it comes and goes. I do have an anxiety disorder, but I don't consciously feel as though I'm having anxiety....

667923 tn?1421462724 I have been experiencing intense pain, numbness on the whole left side of body. The weakness has been so bad that I can't even move my left hand or foot.I felt like a 40lb. weight was laying on my hand and foot to keep it from moving. I felt like I was having a stroke and after doing research on it, I did. Maybe it was an Ischemic attack or TIA. I have had 3 or 4 of these attacks and don't want to wind up having a full blown STROKE.
1474856 tn?1288289049 numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body; confusion or difficulty in talking or understanding speech; trouble seeing in one or both eyes; and difficulty with walking, dizziness, or loss of balance and coordination. I have this all the time, but the Dr's just keep saying it is just migraine. I am so worried about feeling like this constantly, but i encountered a problem when i tried to see a new Dr within the Henry Ford health system.

Avatar f tn I'm 31 years old, diagnosed with antiphospholipd antibody syndrome (APS), several blood mutations that exacerbate clotting, and patent foramen ovale (PFO). Positive for TIAs in the past several years and a right-hemisphere stroke in 2007. Cardiologist is ruling out Prinzmetal's angina as well. Been having deep chest pain for about 2 months, off and on, relieved by nitroglycerin. Normal ECG, Holter monitor, stress test; other tests have ruled out ulcers, reflux, GERD, etc.
Avatar n tn ve experienced symptoms on the right side of my body, starting earlier this year i would get a sharp pain travelling down the right side of my body, same places as i am now experiencing this numb type of feeling so i saw a neurologist. I had a normal neurological exam in feb this year along with normal brain mri in march. I had a lot of blood tests taken in august which were normal also. Can anybody offer me any help or advice?

Avatar n tn I am having the same thing...I have already had one MRI of my brain but am having another one this week or next week as I went to a neuro and he thinks something may have happened between my last MRI and now. A neuro exam will help them see if there is a need for an MRI. Please get to a neuro and email me and let me know what happens. I will let you know what mine comes back as.
Avatar f tn ll notice that my right pupil is larger than the left. Should I be worried that these are like stroke symptoms or something else? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
755322 tn?1330269114 Has it helped, yes and no. I feel my brain is sharper in that I can concentrate for longer periods of time than before. My over all fatigue is better but not as good as just after the procedure. I have slipped back a bit over the year. Walking is worse. I am not sure clearing internal jugular blockages and blockages in the Azygos vein has much to do with walking performance. It helped in the beginning a bit, but that could have been a placebo effect. My walking has deteriorated pretty badly.

Avatar n tn I have had one side of my face twitch for 3 weeks now, a friend has told me recently she had the same problem. Her end result was a mini-stroke. Could this twitching be an early warning to a mini-stroke?
Avatar n tn Hi, did you developed the symptoms after stopping therapy with tizanidine or during tratment with tizanadine. Your symptoms are suggestive of hypertonia which is one of the withdrawl symptoms with this medicine as this drug may produce dependence. Tizanadine is muscle relaxant, acting at the level of brain and usually given in cases of back pain, spasms etc. It is unlikely to have stroke with this drug. But its withdrawl can cause muscle spasm or hypertonia.

1310611 tn?1279923843 Is losing balance and falling to one side a stroke symptom? I have had several experiences of losing balance and falling to my right side. Grabbing a door was the only thing keeping me from falling. I have fallen to the same side while trying to get out of a chair. I have also had several episodes that made me feel like I was standing with one leg on an incline and the other side much lower like I was standing on a hill parallel to the incline. Any info would be appreciated.
242912 tn?1402543492 My entire jaw suddenly went numb. Tingling and numbness on the right side of my neck, up my cheek to my eye and above it. Right shoulder and arm now numb and down my back. Something is horribly out of place. I've been reading about *strokes* the last few days. I'm pretty sure these symptoms would have to be on the left, but now I've got anxiety about the possibility of that happening.
Avatar n tn s concern. With your risk factors for stroke and the additional symptoms of face numbness, I would be reluctant to just chalking this up to amiodarone. Talk to your doctor about the possible need for an MRI. Best of luck.
Avatar n tn Common signs of a stroke that require immediate assessment include muscle weakness or loss of sensation on one side of the body, loss of ability to speak or understand language, and drooping of one side of the face or double vision Good luck
Avatar n tn It is difficult to gauge the intensity of symptoms from your post, but there is a possibility that these symptoms are due to stroke or migraine. It is very important to get a clinical evaluation done. Both stroke and migraine can cause one sided headache with numbness. Patients with aortic aneurysm are at an increased risk of atherosclerosis or blockade of artery by a plaque which can cause heart attacks and stroke. Hope this helps!
Avatar n tn I had a patient one time that had a stroke (all the same symptoms that you have...tingling, numbness, fatigue, etc) The patient had a left sided thalamic stroke that effected the right side of the body. Right arm unable to move, right leg with strength 3 out of 5. Left side of the body unaffected.
