I have headaches with exercise and stress- just yoga class I have to leave early and vomit. I saw my dr and he confirmed that in having stroke like symptoms and sent to hospital and was admitted last week for three days. I still have residual headaches and clumsy, fine motor is off, simple tasks are hard and forgetting, difficulty word finding and speaking without sounding drunk. Why with the symptoms of stroke and that on testing was I just brushed off.
I have been experiencing intense pain, numbness on the whole left side of body. The weakness has been so bad that I can't even move my left hand or foot.I felt like a 40lb. weight was laying on my hand and foot to keep it from moving. I felt like I was having a stroke and after doing research on it, I did. Maybe it was an Ischemic attack or TIA. I have had 3 or 4 of these attacks and don't want to wind up having a full blown STROKE.
About 10 minutes later I threw up some beige pudding like material that could have been from animal crackers I had eaten before I went to bed. Is this reflux? The asthmatic symptoms left after I vomited.
saturday 1 day after her second round of chemo she was feeling nauseated, she started trying to vomit. She then went into a spell where she couldnt catch her breath which then lead to her passing out before the paramedics were able to get oxygen on her. when she came to she was completely non responsive. the first hospital then flew her to another where she eventually became alert again. after 3 doses of narcam. now she is not able to move or feel her right leg and left arm.
retching symptoms but no stroke. I had a endoscopy and it showed the retching damage as well as Hiatal hernia. I was put on Protonix. I still get that same cough/vomit feeling even when my stomach is empty for 4-12 hours after eating. After reading all the harm PPI can do including stroke I decided to add anti viral herbs to my diet to reduce post nasal drip infection etc. It seems certain foods trigger acid reflux GERD symptoms as well.
numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body; confusion or difficulty in talking or understanding speech; trouble seeing in one or both eyes; and difficulty with walking, dizziness, or loss of balance and coordination.
I have this all the time, but the Dr's just keep saying it is just migraine. I am so worried about feeling like this constantly, but i encountered a problem when i tried to see a new Dr within the Henry Ford health system.
On the night of Friday March 5th around 1 am (a pure guess) my grandfather (72 years of age) was in the restroom and had a stroke and semi heart attach. After the downstairs neighbors noticed his bathroom fan was left on for hours they called 911 which arrived at 7AM to find him barely breathing and in his vomit and diarrhea on the floor. He was UN responsive and was taken to the ER.
A scan of his brain found no bleeding and little swelling. He had developed ammonia from the intake of vomit.
I had just finish eating lunch when I started to feel weird and like if I wanted to vomit and I rush to the bathroom and I throw up everything out; a few minutes later I feel numbness in my face and some tickling as well. Also I had this metal taste in my mouth.
Some of your symptoms are similar to those caused by either MS or cerebro-vascular events, however it is the temporal course of the symptoms that would be helpful in determining the actual cause. Strokesymptoms usually have a abrupt onset, and the neurological impairment is usually at its maximum right at the onset, and then slowly improves if it is only a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA); if it is a stroke then the symptoms will remain for at leat 4-5 days (usually much longer).
Stroke Risk Factors
Some stroke risk factors are hereditary. Others are a function of natural processes. Still others result from a person's lifestyle. You can't change factors related to heredity or natural processes, but those resulting from lifestyle or environment can be modified with the help of a healthcare professional. Fortunately, most risk factors are under our control
What risk factors for stroke can't be changed?
He needs to go back to the doctor. Obviously, when they released him from the ER, they must have thought he was okay, but he's not. Or maybe they recommended that he see another doctor after he was released, and he hasn't yet done so. Either way, he needs medical attention. I'm not a doctor, either, not even close, but his symptoms sound to me like those of a stroke. I don't know why a stroke, if that's what it was, wouldn't have shown up on brain imagery.
A little over a week ago I had a episode of numbness in my left side, dizziness, weakness, nausea etc. Basiclly the symptoms of stroke. These episodes have continued and I have been released from the hospital with no answers. Here is what I do know. I have noticed that right before a spell begins my mood becomes restless and agitated. This will change into waves of nausea and dizziness sometimes I will vomit other times I don't.
Yup all normal. I had really bad morning sickness on month two and three. I didn't vomit but couldn't eat and was exhausted all the time. I spent those two loooong months in bed and survived on toast and cheese as that was the only thing I could stomach. Around week 12 my morning sickness started to ease and now at week 15 it's all gone and I can finally eat again.
I think I may have gastroparesis. I had a stroke in my spine. I have improved, but I vomit after eating, usually very delayed. I keep nausea. I have bloating and stomach discomfort. I have a poor appetite and I feel full. I'm quite miserable and I know that my nutrition is sorely lacking. Any suggestions?
Every once in a while my 3 yr old will vomit with no signs or symptoms of anything being wrong with her. Then go right back to acting normal after the fact as well. Her pediatrician seems to think its b/c I give her to much juice could this be right?
It makes me feel like i need to vomit. I will go to throw up and it gets to the back of my throat then just goes back down. It sometimes last all night. I also experience hot and cold flashs. When i get hot its like a heat stroke almost and when i get cold i feel like im laying in the snow. i feel fine in the mornings and through out the day. i took a pregnancy test it was negative. I hate going to the hospital we have here and don't want to travel to another one.
s death was heat stroke. Your dog was exhibiting abnormal symptoms prior to being left outside. She had increased drinking while she was still indoors in the air conditioning. Increased drinking can be signs of over heating of course, but it is also caused by diabetes, hyperadrenocorticism, kidney disease, pyometra, toxin ingestion and more.
I am sorry that I cannot be more definitive about her cause of death.
I have been feeling sick. I have been feeling like I want to vomit all the time. And my stomach has been hurting. I'm on birth control and have not missed a pill but I was 4 day last and it not what I usely have ( not as heavily) What could it be.
When i went to bathroom it was little wet spots like semi watery discharge. Today i had the same symptoms. When i was working out i felt a gush but it wasn't a lot just a little bit. More cramping today very minor but obvious. Breast were a little more tender than yesterday but its not consistant. Today i am 8dpo.
That afternoon her pressure went high up to 210/150 of which the doctors and nurse had said that with this pressure she should have been a very critical condition (stroke). But, my wife had no symptoms like head ache or dizziness thus my question is how can this be possible and what can be done????
Last night after Infusion her Blood pressure fell to 180/110 but she is starting to vomit and have head aches I reckon this is from the infusion ???
