405614 tn?1329144114 Just a quick update regarding the Conficker Worm that is set to begin at midnight on April Fool's Day (this Wednesday): As of this writing, the only thing known specifically about this worm variant is that it will block infected machines from running removal tools with "Conficker" in the name. It will also apply it's own version of the Microsoft patch (MS08-067) thereby overwriting the vulnerability fix.
Avatar n tn I'm a first time mommy too! I just learned it's normal because during an ultrasound my baby boy was moving in all kinds of crazy positions and changing it up the whole time!
Avatar f tn I had my second cataract surgery at the end of Jan. 2011 and was given Soothe XP to use (I have very dry eyes). Looking at the bottle now--couldn't see to read it then--I see that it expires 3/10. I like this drop a LOT. Searching the web, I see that Soothe XP was recalled for all bottles dated 2/11 through 8/12. My questions: 1) Can I still use my bottle labelled 3/10? 2) if not, can you suggest an alternative for very dry eyes with lens replacements?
Avatar f tn I reverted to menopausal symptoms eg hot flushes, tiredness, joint aches and pains, lack of motivation, depression approximately 15 years after completing the menopause. My doctor has put me back on Premia 5 continuous which has relieved some of my feelings of lack of well being but I am still lethargic and suffer severe flushes. Are there any dietary issues I should be addressing.
Avatar n tn However - if the freeware doesn't quite do what you want or you want something commerically supported with updates, the PDA applications at http://www.calorieking.com may be better for you. I personally am using CalorieKing's Diet Diary for the Palm PDA to quickly build meals and tally up carbs/calories. Although I don't use it as a diary, I like the fact I cn put together a meal at a restraunt in a minute and have a good handle on carbs/calories to bolus as close as possible.
Avatar f tn Lol! I just started tinkering with Win7 so can't really compare that! I am choosing XP because I am most familar with it. I have Vista on 2 machines, and am slowly getting better with getting around it, but I think from what I have seen that win7 will be better....still have to see what "bugs" come out!!!!
544531 tn?1221339601 I am a 40 year old, non smoking, non drinking, no caffein intaking female with asthma. I recently had a stress/echo due to multiple PVC's per day. The test showed that my heart lining has thickened due to undiagnosed high BP (the doc thinks I have sleep apnea which is causing a rise in bp at night, without my knowing). The doc put me on Toprol 25mg...could NOT breath. He has now changed me to Cartia XP 240mg...
228686 tn?1211554707 ll admit, there are visual aspects of Vista I like better than XP, and in some ways they made some of the things a bit more clever than with XP. But it is a recent alpha/beta release, so it's got some issues. My BIGGEST problem is auto update. I've had nightmares come up from auto-update, so I shut it down. Those updates tend to be VERY glitchy (I'm gonig through one right now. Been three days trying to figure out which update I allowed caused the problem.
1379611 tn?1595933684 What browser do you use - Firefox, Chrome, IE, etc? What OS are you running - Windows 7, XP, etc., or are you on a Mac?

Avatar f tn Sounds like you did the glucose test. I'm not sure what your blood type has to do with it, though, or what shot you needed that they didn't have. I've never heard of that. The glucose test is completely harmless. It's just to check to see if you have gestational diabetes or not.
Avatar n tn t move for the whole time. It took 3 tries to see his gender and they did a blood test on me just to make sure.
Avatar f tn Like a heart beat in your belly lol xp but its cute :)

Avatar f tn It was " suggested " that I have a stress test. It's not mandatory so I'm wondering if I should have one done at all. Has anyone had a stress test? If so what did the results reveal?
Avatar f tn I have an apt today to do a stress test since am over due. I want to go in there informed, does anyone know what it is or whats going to happen?
Avatar f tn In a low risk pregnancy a non stress test or stress test would only be warranted if their was a concern. However diabetics (both gestational and non) have a higher rate of stillborn babies (still rare, but better to be safe) so its common practice to keep a closer eye as the pregnancy nears the end.
