i was hooked for 8 years...I've stopped abusing oxycontin Nov 15...yes i had a couple of relapses...went to surgery again Feb 13....I've got knee issues...right knee replaced in may...left knee acl reconstruction...i had 90 days of clean time before surgery...and i felt so so good...i am off all the meds again and unfortunately detoxing again....im 5 days without pain meds. but i know the process now. if i can help. ask me anything..anything...
Getting ready for a knee replacement I had a adenosine stress test after having previous chest pain and turning 50 this year.That part went fine but the pictures revealed a past event.Although know blockage was seen, there was a part at the tip that showed damage. Is there anyway to determine when and how this could have happened?

I read somewhere that when people have gait problems, they automatically adjust their walking style so that more weight is borne on the good leg, and when the gait is back to normal, sometimes you consciously adjust your walking style so that you put more weight on the 'bad' leg and hey presto - a fracture, an anticipated fall, or sudden pain that causes you to jump.
i also had the stress of breaking up with him the same week that my knee was messed up and not being able to really walk because of my knee was was stress to. so this would be 4 weeks since we had sex can implantaion bleeding happen 4 weeks after having sex or seeing how i should be getting my period this week is it just a light period due to stress and ect..
My 57 year old husband had an EKG for pre op for surgery of the knee. He failed the EKG and had "T abnormalities". The cardiologist wanted him to have an echo and a Thallium stress test, with adenosine since he can't run with his knee. The echo turned out fine and the stress test had good contractility but showed a "small fixed defect". I did not get to speak to the doctor and I don't know what this means.
In the beginning of august I had a bad fall. I was put in a knee splint. After an MRI it looks like I have a grade 3 MCL tear. Prior to that, I've had habitual dislocation of the patella. Today, the doctor said I might have never had a connected MCL since my knee would "travel" with every step (and I could walk and function completely normally, before the injury).
It was " suggested " that I have a stress test. It's not mandatory so I'm wondering if I should have one done at all. Has anyone had a stress test? If so what did the results reveal?
In a low risk pregnancy a non stress test or stress test would only be warranted if their was a concern. However diabetics (both gestational and non) have a higher rate of stillborn babies (still rare, but better to be safe) so its common practice to keep a closer eye as the pregnancy nears the end.

Has anyone taken a stress test ? My doctor got me so worried. I told him today at my appt that my baby doesn't move as much as he use to everyone else told me it's bcuz he's losing space. So I wasn't too concerned and now my doc wants to make sure everything is okay so tomorrow I'm going in for a stress test . Has anyone done this? I'm pretty worried now :( I just want everything to be okay.
So I am 37 yrs old and had to do stress test on my last appt which I was 37 weeks and failed and was hooked up to machine for almost an hour so sent me to have ultrasound and baby seemed fine but I feel as if she isnt moving as much and I know towards the end they run out of room but im nervous any ideas this is my 3rd child
