What is the recovery period after knee surgery for full thickness articular cartilage defect

I have seen five doctors, gone to physical therapy, had orthotics made and adjusted more than five times, had an electromyography and nerve conduction velocity test, an MRI and blood tests, multiple X-Rays and changes in shoes. All of the above tests have come back normal and not one doctor has been able to figure out what's wrong with me.

Hi- I broke my femur a few years ago. After numerous surgeries,my right leg is now 1" shorter than my left. I stand for hours at work. I'm getting a lot of pain in my LEFT hip and right heel which I'm guessing is due to things being out of whack. Any ideas? Thanks.

they have called it angina. but I have No blockages found. Chemical Stress test is fine. But on the treadmill have thobbing back pain between shoulder blades, caused by activity, exciting. nitro doesn't not have any effect .Blood pressure soars when attacks starts. what could it be. Have saw 3 cardio doctors Had the pain for 20 years. 70 years old. triple bypass done in 1998.

when i had my ACL surgery, a machine was brought over to my house that automatically bent my knee for about a week. the purpose of it was to keep scar tissue from building up and getting good range of motion quickly. i do have to say if you get the ACL surgery don't go light on the therapy because scar tissue build up can be more painful the that the origional injury was. just ask the doctor.

I had an EKG and was told i had a Left Bundle Bunch Block, which i didn't have 2 years ago. They then did a thalium stress test and they said my left side of my heart has a perfusion of 44% instead of 55%. Now they want to do a heart cath. Will a LBBB cause this to be observed on a stress test. They say they are checking for blockages. I hav no sypmptoms and had the EKG just because i was getting ready for a knee scope cause i hurt my knee.

2) Since I have the arthritis in all of my joints, including my right knee, how much more stress will a fusion be putting on my right knee because of having to adjust my walking gait to accomodate the fused knee? Is there any difference between this amount of stress to my "good" knee between a fusion and a replacement?

Getting ready for a knee replacement I had a adenosine stress test after having previous chest pain and turning 50 this year.That part went fine but the pictures revealed a past event.Although know blockage was seen, there was a part at the tip that showed damage. I did 6 weeks non weight bearing and had an x-ray at my 6 week follow-up where my surgeon gave me the go ahead to start walking again. 6 weeks later, still swollen and in pain, I went for my 12 week follow-up where I was told my toe was dislocated (hallux varus) and I'd need surgery again. On the down side was a nurse came into the room before the LP to inform me that my knee surgery schedule for next week was called off. They decided they wanted me to have a stress test before the surgery since I had not had one in over a year. My left knee has been hurting more and more every day lately I was really looking forward to the surgery so that I would not be in so much constant pain. I can produce a numbert of different opinions what is the appropriate heart rate and so on with exercising. The best method for someone with a heart issue is to have a stress test. A stress test is oftened done for the purpose of learning the degree of tolerance/risk one can safely do. The rule of thumb stated is not recommended for someone who has heart issues. You will be safe to engage in exercising according to METs.

and one other thing if there was something wrong with my heart would it have shown during the stress test?
