forward in the bed after I told them that my surgeon had told me NOT to bend my stomach. This caused my first problem. Some skin to the rt of my naval folded onto itself. I was in the hospital for 9 days & during this time, ths skin basically rotted & I was left with an open wound of puss for a month. This caused a 1x2 inch scar. I can feel alot of my pain behind this scar as well as behind the naval. I am trying to figure out what my next step should be.
This morning I woke up with this slight pulling pain but when I touched my navel I found a protruding lump. I normally have a deep navel but this lump has made it flush with my stomach. I do not have insurance so I'm afraid to go to the doctor.
I have this rash on my lower stomach were I fasten my jeans it's very itchy and I scratch it until it's starts oozing a clear fluid. It seems to be spreading up toward my naval. It goes and comes but is very irriating. I noticed that it's spending in little pimples some are combined maybe with 3 little pimple-like in a circle then its some small pimple like spreaded randomly on my stomach which are also itchy. What could this be?

I am a little worried. I am 20 weeks 2 days and I sometimes have pains in my tummy just under my naval, is this normal? Haven't had much of an appetite today. Does anyone else have this?
I had belly button pain around week 16 when I started to grow, I did some research and found that if you've had your belly button pierced (which I did) your more likely to have naval pain because the scar tissue is stretching. I'm at week 22 now and don't have the pain anymore. Did you have a pierced naval?
I also seem to have a large rash with odor in the fold of my stomach at the pubic level (My belly hangs over from previous surgeries and twin pregnancy.) My urine is also cloudy and smelly. I have stomach pain around the naval. My back hurts behind the naval. I am relentlessly thirsty and my tongue is like sandpaper and hurts. I also have a mildly smelly green, yellow discharge from the nose. Please help. Is this in need of over the treatment fungal or a visit to the physician.

Where are the pains exactly? I'm having intense stomach pains from the top of my naval to the top of my stomach and they are refrerring it to GERD (Acid Reflux Disease). I'd go see your GI and see if they can do an upper endoscopy on you. I'm going in on the 3rd to for one to see if I have GERD or a peptic ulcer. Drink a lot of water and a very bland diet (toast with peanut butter).
I've had a grinding pain in right lower quadrant of abdomen (between hip and naval just below naval height) for years. It was one and off but now it is more regular and a daily occurrence at least. It lasts for hours. The area always feels tender. On top of this, the area above this and leading up to just under my ribs has started to swell up massively about an hour after I eat.
If I eat out or eat fast food, I had trouble getting to sleep from pain. Now, for the past 3 months, I have had stomach pain almost after every meal I eat. I though it might be the food, but it hurts after something as simple as salad. The pain is below the naval. It hurts while going to bed to the point I stay awake. I tried not laying down 2 hours after my meal, but it doesn't matter. What I do is take an antacid + acid reducer to get to sleep.
As soon as he awoke He would complain that his stomach hurt just above his naval but it was mild to moderate pain and he could play etc. That is until he ate. Once again an hour or so later he was doubled over. This time the mild pain stayed for two or theree days, with severe pain after every meal. After 3 days in a row of this I again called the doc. Doc said probably a virus despite the fact that there were again no other symptoms. After 3 days my son seemed fine.
some time i feel itching and pain here, Next day it gets dry and hits the surrounding area as it becomes very hard (no wet material coming from naval). When ever I try to sleep feel unpleasant like some thing puling the naval inside.Similarly unpleasant feeling when need to make urine. My urine making frequency is also increased though I take hardly 4-5 glasses of water daily.
I met a physician she said, no problem.
Hi I'm 25+5 and I'm starting to have pain in my tummy behind my naval and mostly on the right side of my belly.. Idk if its from the ultrasound cause they was pushing on my stomach kinda hard or what but it hurts... Anybody else with this pain?..
ve had a dull pain in my stomach, upper left just under rib cage, sensitive to touch also, for many years but has recently become more regular with burping and hiccups after eating or drinking. Sometimes there is minor bloating. I do have mild proctitis occasionally (diagnosed over 10 yrs ago) but otherwise a healthy active 56 yr old with a good diet (fruit, veges, fish, eggs, chicken, whole grains and healthy yogurt, ice cream. Tea drinker but have been drinking expresso this summer).
I have a pea-sized lump under my right breast naval. It does sting but only intermittently. I noticed a pain a couple of weeks ago under the full breast. Since then this little node has appeared under my right breast naval. I am going thru a divorce and wonder if it is caused by stress. Also, I am having sweating during the day and that's when the stinging of the node occurs. I am fifty, do you think I am going thru the change and this is a symptom or something I should be worried about?
Dear booboo, I have the same pain in the upper left side of my stomach under my rib cage doc's can't find the cause even had my gallbladder out, I told dr pain was on the other side but he insisted it was gallbladder... It was not! I have had ultrasounds and hida scans and all the other tests with no luck. Then I started Medical Assistant training and I think I found the problem!! Hiatal Hernia. does your pain get worse if you bend over? or lay down after you eat?
It is hard cause I need caffeine for work (I do 13 hrs shifts). But, it seems to add to my pain. I have had every test done under the sun and they all came back normal apart of the endoscopy years ago. No celiac, no gluten allergy, no h. pylori, abdomen, kidney ultrasounds normal. colonscopy normal. Blood work normal. Stool tests fine.
My pain is exactly as you described. Fine in the morning.
Constipation definately causes bleeding from the rectum and I suspect immense pain when trying to pass solids. The stomach pains are most likely associated with the constipation as the waste is built up and possibly stuck in your intestines. I would seek advice from your local chemist or drug store/pharmacy who would be able to recommend products to get you moving again. As for the heartburn, it's the acids in your stomach which often "ride up the esophagus giving the burning pain.
