forward in the bed after I told them that my surgeon had told me NOT to bend my stomach. This caused my first problem. Some skin to the rt of my naval folded onto itself. I was in the hospital for 9 days & during this time, ths skin basically rotted & I was left with an open wound of puss for a month. This caused a 1x2 inch scar. I can feel alot of my pain behind this scar as well as behind the naval. I am trying to figure out what my next step should be.
I also seem to have a large rash with odor in the fold of my stomach at the pubic level (My belly hangs over from previous surgeries and twin pregnancy.) My urine is also cloudy and smelly. I have stomach pain around the naval. My back hurts behind the naval. I am relentlessly thirsty and my tongue is like sandpaper and hurts. I also have a mildly smelly green, yellow discharge from the nose. Please help. Is this in need of over the treatment fungal or a visit to the physician.
After 3 days my son seemed fine. 10 days ago the mild pain above the naval began again with severe pain spreading across the abdomen after every meal. FINALLY the doc recommended the pediactric GI, that he is going to see today. Does your daughter have any other symptoms besides the pain? DEFINATELY be persistant with your doctor. There are more tests that can be run besides a scan. You know your child better than any doctor, and you should listen to your instincts that something is wrong.
This morning I woke up with this slight pulling pain but when I touched my navel I found a protruding lump. I normally have a deep navel but this lump has made it flush with my stomach. I do not have insurance so I'm afraid to go to the doctor.
I've had a grinding pain in right lower quadrant of abdomen (between hip and naval just below naval height) for years. It was one and off but now it is more regular and a daily occurrence at least. It lasts for hours. The area always feels tender. On top of this, the area above this and leading up to just under my ribs has started to swell up massively about an hour after I eat.
I have this rash on my lower stomach were I fasten my jeans it's very itchy and I scratch it until it's starts oozing a clear fluid. It seems to be spreading up toward my naval. It goes and comes but is very irriating. I noticed that it's spending in little pimples some are combined maybe with 3 little pimple-like in a circle then its some small pimple like spreaded randomly on my stomach which are also itchy. What could this be?

I am a little worried. I am 20 weeks 2 days and I sometimes have pains in my tummy just under my naval, is this normal? Haven't had much of an appetite today. Does anyone else have this?
I had belly button pain around week 16 when I started to grow, I did some research and found that if you've had your belly button pierced (which I did) your more likely to have naval pain because the scar tissue is stretching. I'm at week 22 now and don't have the pain anymore. Did you have a pierced naval?

After eating I get SEVERE pressure/pain in the upper right part of my abdomen. I believe this same spot is where my hiatal hernia is located. When I press on it (even lightly) I notice there is a lump there. It is under the skin. It is located about about 4 inches above the naval on the right side of my diaphragm/or below the sternum. Sometimes the pain is so severe I feel I can't breathe and get nauseated. It takes a while for the pressure to let up.
Where are the pains exactly? I'm having intense stomach pains from the top of my naval to the top of my stomach and they are refrerring it to GERD (Acid Reflux Disease). I'd go see your GI and see if they can do an upper endoscopy on you. I'm going in on the 3rd to for one to see if I have GERD or a peptic ulcer. Drink a lot of water and a very bland diet (toast with peanut butter).
Pain also occurs when I cough and/or tense my stomach up (push my stomach out) I feel like I have had this type of pain before but I am not sure. It has been about 8 hours after I woke up and it has not worsened. I have no fever... I checked my temperature a few times and I got a few numbers ranging from 98.5 to 99. I have not had diarrhea or constipation or nausea or vomiting. No bloating/abdominal swelling, and I have no inability to pass gas.
8-year old son has had stomach pain for the last 5 years(located just above his belly button and slightly to the right). He has has x-rays, ultra sound, testing of stool all with no results. It is severe enough it does interfere with his sleep.
He has a good appetite but can only eat small meals. In addition he is very small for his age 52 lbs and 45" tall;
and his skin is now pasty looking and he usually has rings under his eyes, but no allergies.
There is no cookie cutter healing time, just general estimates, but did agree if you are still in severe pain, no work or driving.
Why am I still in pain? They both explained it but the ObGyn did a better job. Appendix Dr. said they basically put a hole straight through my abdominal walls so it was like I got stabbed in the stomach. He said some pain is from the muscle trying to repair themselves etc.
If I eat out or eat fast food, I had trouble getting to sleep from pain. Now, for the past 3 months, I have had stomach pain almost after every meal I eat. I though it might be the food, but it hurts after something as simple as salad. The pain is below the naval. It hurts while going to bed to the point I stay awake. I tried not laying down 2 hours after my meal, but it doesn't matter. What I do is take an antacid + acid reducer to get to sleep.
I've been having severe pain on the right side under my rib cage for ages now. I suffered from water infections since last april and have been back to the doctors and hospital many times! I've done numerous urine samples, and many of the times i've had an infection there but that doesnt seem to be the problem. I have also been for an ultrsound scan on my kidneys with everything clear. Also had an internal scan on my womb and ovaries with everything with that clear too.
some time i feel itching and pain here, Next day it gets dry and hits the surrounding area as it becomes very hard (no wet material coming from naval). When ever I try to sleep feel unpleasant like some thing puling the naval inside.Similarly unpleasant feeling when need to make urine. My urine making frequency is also increased though I take hardly 4-5 glasses of water daily.
I met a physician she said, no problem.
