The pain is in the upper abdomin but in the middle its hard explain i would say behind the stomach becuz the pain really starts there between the stomache and back, when I was hospitalized I had noticed any pain meds given through the iv the pain would start to hurt in that are than the back thankyou for your help
was just to the doctor over this. they took blood to test my pancreas. since iv in the past drank real heavy. forgot to mention to the doctor. but I take pain reliever pms at nite to get to sleep. have a cpap machine. it works to a point. keeps me breathing. but dont get me to sleep. so im up to the point where i take 7-8 pms at night to get to sleep. could that cause pancreas problems?
I have over the six years i have suffered stomach pain but recently it has become worse. it is in my chest and between my shoulder blades; it radiates up into my knock and Jaw. I went to A & E at the weekend as the pain was so bad, they checked out my heart, kidneys, liver and pancreas; they all came back clear.
Online, I found that I have classic pancreatitis symptoms, extreme pain in upper stomach that bores into my back, radiates to my sides, causes pressure in upper stomach, chest pain, rapid pulse, fatigue, gaseousness, headache.
Does anyone know if my heart medication could cause my other symptoms.
This has been going on since mid June, and is life disrupting.
I have a healthy diet, no known food allergies, very little alcohol or caffeine consumption.
She nas not had a normal bowel movement since the surgery and she tried to eat a hambruger and she threw up and had stomach pain. Her doctor told her that she will not be able to eat fatty, spicy or high fiber food at all anymore without having these results. I think everyone is different but in general for the first month we should avoid fat and then your body adjusts. Why did you have the gallbladder out? Did you have stones? What was your HIDA scan result?
and was found to have a urinary tract infection, and what they thought to be pancreas problems. The pain decreased and I went home. A day or two later my stomach began to hurt and every time I would eat it would go away until I laid down or about an hour or two after eating. Then gurgling would start in my stomach and work its way down, its painful and very sensitive. For about three weeks I have had off and on constipation that only is fixed with laxatives.
Hi I dont want to sound like im a hypercondriac but the abdomial pain that women experince with ovarian cancer is it lower or upper pain. I have upper stomach pain for over a yr now. It comes and goes its really high like right under the v part the ribs and top of stomach. I had a scope down the throat and and stomach they said there is redness and iritation there and had colonosopy also both done in june.
t have such painful pain for more ...... my stomach is always bloated which affects my back and either i feel pain in my stomach and back pain is also related ......any help i went to many doctors and made too many analyses with no benefits the pain goes worse and increases

So, after almost three months with agonizing pain she emailed me and said my results were very positive with severe gastroparesis, a disorder in which the stomach takes too long to empty after eating. This occurs when the nerves to the stomach are damaged or don't work.
Contact your GI dr and let them know your symptoms. Now my pain started in the upper section of the stomach and would gradually move to the right.

She was diagnosed a month ago and have been complaining about stomach pain, sometimes worst than others. With her stomach pain, she also experiences horrible chest pain that comes and goes. I have taken her to her pediatrician, and am now demanding to see a specialist because sometimes she is doubled over in pain. What crazy it that once we get to the hospital, the pain is not as severe. The doctors assumed that she was lying about it, but I know thats untrue.
They finally got a little better the beginning of this week, but I still had the swollen stomach. Last night and today, no stomach pain, no swollen stomach. I have celiac and I started taking the new Celiact viatamin. I dont know for sure that this is what made the pain subside, but I took the viatamins for the first time yesterday, and last nite was the first time, no pain.
Do you have celiac disease? IBS? or anything like that.
Food has no play in my stomach/ pelvic pain. I have pain EVERYDAY and it is almost constant. The pain is now moving upwards and also around to my back. I have been having this pain for about a year. All tests come back normal- transvaginal ultrasound, ultrasound, sigmoidoscopy, blood work. The pain is so bad at times I am nauseas. The Gastroenterologist just says I should eat lots a fiber and take a laxative....I disagree. Any ideas?
I am 33 years old and 55kgs. 6 months ago I woke up to find my stomach distended to the size of a woman 6 months pregnant (I get 'congratulated' all the time), although I am not pregnant. When the swelling first happened I was nauseas and vomited for a day. Since then, the distension only ever resides slightly and some days it gets so bad that it covers my ribs and effects my breathing (I think this is because it's presssing on my diaphram).
2013 March - They found that I have H Pylori infection and treated me 3 times with nexium antibiotic treatment. Still the sensation of sqeezing in stomach, heart or chest pain existed and still continuing.Endoscopy and Colono scopy were done and everything looked normal. Continuing Nexium treatment.Fatty liver and fatty pancreas diagnosed.
2014 March - Endoscopy, CT Scan and Ultra sound were done.Results say Gastric antrum mild chronic inflammation, fatty liver and pancreas.
Hi, I am a 36 year old female with unexplained upper stomach pain. I have have my gallbladder removed and it didn't help. It is a burning, squeezing pain. It makes me really hot and have to cold sweats. I can't even swallow my spit when it happens. I have kept a food log and had many tests and they all prove the same thing...........NOTHING!!!!! It is an unbearable pain and I don;t know what to do. It attacks w/o warning but I can feel it coming on. HELP!!!!!!
It almost feel like my stomach is going to pop because I feel a lot of pressure as well. Could this be something to do with the pancreas? I know its right behind the stomach on the left, and I heard that after having gall stones that cause pancreatitis, it could damage the pancreas. My surgeon had said that every time I had my gall stone attacks, the pain was mostly caused by the pacreatits because of the blocked bile duct. Could this have caused permanent damage to my pancreas?
Louis as well) became very ill while at work and was taken to the ER with severe stomach pain. He was diagnosed with gastritis but his liver enzymes were up so they wanted to scan his liver. Keep in mind he was an ultrathoner, avid hiker, and mountain biker. He had just ran the St. Jude Marathon a few weeks prior. He never drank or smoked and was a picture of health. Then scan came back with mets all over his liver...he had pancreatic cancer that had spread to his stomach and liver.
