Avatar n tn I have a three year old nephew and this morning he decided to push really hard on the side on my stomach. Could this have caused anything bad to happen I'm only 6weeks so I'm scared it could've caused damage. Is that possible or am I over thinking it?
1277363 tn?1314895434 yes the shoulder pain is nasty stuff, I couldn't lie on my right side for two nights because of it! But you will be happy to know it eases up within 2-3 days. It's trapped gas that's causing your pain - walking around, even a little bit, will help release the wind. Every blessing with your recovery!
Avatar f tn My son is 5 now & sometimes is more excited that his dad & I are expecting a daughter than we are.lol My son is very mature as well, & for some reason, obsessed with babies.lol He's been mentioning for months how he would change her diapers, feed her, play with her & more.lol Good to know I won't be on my own when my bf is at work/school. Good luck to you ladies!
Avatar f tn That's true I guess. It doesn't really bother me except when my baby rolls and gets comfy in the very front of my belly. I just know this little boy is only getting bigger and his favorite place to be is held on my chest or stomach and I wasn't sure if having him like that constantly was a no-no.
Avatar f tn If its hurting to hold him try to have him walk more. I have the same issue with my son.

Avatar n tn We have discovered mulitple enlarged lymph nodes on my 2 year old son, with some the size of a pea. He is having alot of episodes of severe sweating from his neck up, where we need to change his shirt or the sheet in his bed is saturated. He does complain of belly pain, where I need to rub his belly. He also complains of leg pain at times where I need to rub his leg or give him Tylenol. My husband was diagnosed with CLL in 2005 and has had 7 rounds of chemo.

I have a six year old and a house to maintain. Where do I find time to be able to keep up with my duties at home while still being able to get my body the rest it needs at this time?!
Avatar f tn And my cat likes to be all on my stomach and tries to paw at my stomach when the baby moves and kicks. My Chihuahua is starting to get jealous and wants affection more. Avatar f tn I'm 31 weeks and my daughter just turned 1.5 years. She keeps Trying to bounce on my belly when I'm laying down and sits on my lap without even paying attention (which consists of her sliding down my bump, Aka her sister.) She's also very active and I'm constantly running after her or getting up and down. I'm already tired I can't imagine how bad I'll feel in two months!

Avatar f tn I just have a question for any mommies out there that have toddlers or even older children but i have a 2 year old step son and it seems every week that we get him (4 days out of the week) he is ALWAYS sick with something whether it be a cold, flu, or just some coughing. But lately i feel like he has been sick way too much for a 2 year old.
Avatar f tn My almost 2 year old son keeps lifting my shirt up just to lay his head on my stomach or go lay his body on top of me. He is very adamant about it and he won’t allow me to have my shirt down with him in the bed with me. So I sleep shirtless so he’s comfortable. Does anyone know why he’s doing this?
Avatar f tn At my 1st exam the doctor took a couple of wrist xrays , have me a splint (too large) and refused to write work note or put me on lt.duty. I was referred to an ortho but by this time I had been lifting toddlers multiple times daily plus mopping and such. He just said it was bone contusion and released me to full duty. (I had to quit due to the pain day before). I finally was able to get MRI which confirmed a Bone contusion and possible fracture of the triquetrium and a ganglion cyst.
Avatar f tn I have 2 toddlers as well and I am on day 19 and having major ups and downs. I am depressed, fatigued and really foggy in my mind. Try to go easy on yourself. Put on some really bad, mindless television (Jersey Shore, perhaps) or play music or do yoga....something to distract your mind. Maybe go get a massage...something. Keep telling yourself tomorrow will be better...just get to a clean tomorrow.
Avatar f tn So I dedcided to look into what I ate and noticed that dairy, seafood, beef, caffeine, chocolate any sugar. These things made my stomach cramp, constipation, migranes, fatigue, dizzy, cold like symptoms, itching. Yet I had been having these symptoms for many years they said I had IBS. I don't go to the bathroom for many weeks I tried many laxatives my only justice is a sopository.
Avatar f tn My 19 month old son has been banging his head on walls, floors, and tables (whatever is around at the time). He sometimes hits it so hard he bleeds or bruises I am very concerned about this. Ive heard that most toddlers hit themselves (which he also does), but I have never seen this. what can I do to stop this before he seriously hurts himself?
Avatar f tn I was really using the pain pills for pain at first but then it was to cover the depression and feeling overwhelmed with having these children 24/7. It has been difficult on my marriage as well. My husband hasnt dealt well with my ER visits for pain meds and the dr visits and then add the financial aspect and then add two toddlers to the mix it is really difficult. I can not do this alone. God is going to have to show me a way out of this.
Avatar n tn He complains about his head, eyes, stomach. I took him to GI specialist and they prescribed zantac he also takes zyrtec for allergies. I am not able to concentrate at work, not sure how well daycare does with his sugar levels, afraid he is there and not feeling well. I am wondering if there is some kind of short term financial assistance i can apply for in order to stay at home with my son until his sugars are under control?
