I have dull stomach pain just below the sternum. It hurts worse when I'm getting hungry but scared to eat to much cause I been getting this feeling that I need to throw up everyone I eat a little too much. I used to be Abe to eat rice and pasta but now can't seem to digest it. It seems to get stuck around my upper rib area and then I eventually end up throwing my dinner up. On June 1st I weighed 203. As of today, October 19th, I weigh 162.
Recently I started having sudden onset deep shoulder pain. I realized that my shoulder pain occurs everytime I eat, when the food reaches a certain area as it is going down. It is far down in my esaphogus when this occurs. There are also times that my food does not want to go down all the way and it takes a little time. What are your thoughts on this?
I have been suffering some kind of constant stomach area pain for the past several weeks. It is right below my esophagus where it would be entering my stomach. I was having problems with swallowing a few weeks ago along with the pain. I could feel my food and beverage easing down my esophagus. I started taking 20 then after a bit of time 40 mg of Prilosec (normal dose is 20 mg) and that ended the swallowing issue but the stomach pain remained.

Keeping in mind your history of acid reflux in all probability this has to do with GERD.
Your symptoms also occur only with certain food substances which also favors a diagnosis of GERD.
Also, I hav been having swallowing problems, like i can feel my food go down to my stomach slower. Went to see a doctor, she suspects is because of acid reflux and gave me some medicine, but my condition doesn't seem to improve. It's weird, coz I also have throat infection that is one sided and the soreness kinda radiates to my right Ear and jaw. And I rmb these swallowing problem started one month ago when I was having severe burning sensation on my right throat.
I know you are probably soooo over the oral sex and hiv questions, but I have one. I gave a guy some awesome oral about 7 years ago, and I've been freaking out since then. I have brown spots on one of my feet and a raised dark spot on the top of my toe. I didn't swallow, and I had a few shots of Grey Goose before hand. Since you say there is no chance of hiv transmission through oral do you have any idea what going on with my foot? My hope is that its syphilis.
Yes I have and I also had the same test and my upper gi was also nagative! Try and relax about it which is easier said than done but being that u have had test and doctors said no problem it may just be anxiety I lost a lot of weight worrying in R weeks I lost over 20 lbs n every test came back negative and had 2nd opinions and they too were negative! My girlfriend gets stomach pains after swallowing during oral sex. Why is this and how can it be helped?
It could be esophagitis or something more serious. Reflux of stomach acid can inflame the esophagus and when swallowing it burns in the chest where the esophagus is. It needs to be scoped (upper GI) to check it out. Just my thought - blessings to you.

My shortness of breath/ stomach pain / difficulty swallowing started just over a year ago now and I was so desperate to find a cause. I did think it was a sign of a severe illness. It caused me so much anxiety. In the end, i finally did find a cause / cure.Little did I know that a medication I was using was causing all of this. I had been put on ativan (a benzo) shortly after a car accident where I had suffered head injuries and a slight concusion.
Are you eating on a regular basis? Excess stomach acid can happen from not eating or having an empty stomach for extended periods of time.
There are over the counter antacids that you can take that can ease the acidic stomach, or eating a small meal or snack can help reduce the build up of stomach acid.
If it continues, a consult with your primary can help rule in or out any cause for concern.
