Also i have severe pains in my upper back to the right maybe my shoulder blade area.
I have over the six years i have suffered stomach pain but recently it has become worse. it is in my chest and between my shoulder blades; it radiates up into my knock and Jaw. I went to A & E at the weekend as the pain was so bad, they checked out my heart, kidneys, liver and pancreas; they all came back clear.
t figure out which one) felt swollen and painful. If I pushed down on my stomach under my right rib cage, it hurt really bad and the pain almost felt like it was coming in contractions. It was radiating around to my back/shoulder.
So I took myself off all meds and supplements (might have been a bad idea but I don't care) thinking my liver may have been overloaded with toxins since I DON'T eliminate waste really well.
well i messed my liver up from pain killers, and where your pain is is where mine still is, i havent taken pain killers in over a year now, except for the two days in march when i had my baby, and just fromthat little bit of percocets killed my liver. but also i had my gul bladder taken out a couple years ago, it had stones and caused the same pains so all you can do is get an ultrasound to see.
Hi. I'm 34 year old mother of 2 young children. For the last year, I haven't been able to feel normal. Last September, I was vomiting so I went to the doctor and she ran regular blood work and it showed urobilinogen in my urine (4.0). She did an ultrasound of my gallbladder and liver and it showed no abnormalities. We did urine again a week later and it was down to 0.2.
t noticed anything unusual, but when I am standing my upper right stomach sticks out a bit further than the left side. When I push on it it is kind of hard. All three doctors didn't notice any inflammation of my liver... Any ideas of what it could be? P.S. I have had this OCD thing for the past 2 and a half months where I continuously poke that area :S. Maybe I tightened or strengthened the muscles? LOL. It feels a bit harder on the right side than the as well..
This may be your pain or you should follow up with your doctor. The place you are describing with the sharp pain sounds like stomach, gallbladder or liver. It is worth following up with your doctor but I really don't think it is ovarian cancer by those symtpoms. Your scan would have shown a mass in your pelvis with ovca. Good luck on finding answers.
I have been experiencing severe indigestion type symptoms that vary from day to day in how strong they are for months now. Pain developing in the stomach, radiating through to the chest sometimes, causing breathlessness. Pain under the right side of the rib cage all of which comes and goes. I've had this for months now, I experience some light headedness and am in my second month of finding it difficult to sleep. It has become more and more constant over time.
i have a gnawing pain in my abdominal area but it tends to hurt more in the middle and upper area however it hurts all ove sometimes. it has been coming and going for the past 5 years now. at first i was given meds for h. phyloria? about 4 years ago and another round last year although i don't think i needed it. my stomach is bloated and sometimes as soon as i eat or drink something, it pertrudes. sometimes the pain wakes me up from my sleep.
From about 2 years i experience sometimes more often sometimes less often pain around my liver. It is pretty weak pain but i can sense it. Doctors told me I can and should exercise. I stay away from fats I dont drink alcohol since 2 years. But I still feel like puking at 4.00 in the morning, ESPECIALLY if I sleep on my right, liver side. I have this discomfort since around 2 years, I'm afraid it might get worse.
When the liver is inflamed it swells. The liver itself has no nerves and so it feels no pain. But, when the liver swells it distends the capsule or sheathe that contains the liver. That capsule is called the Glisson's Capsule and it does have nerves. So when it is distended from the swollen liver the patient feels an ache or a discomfort. I have not read nor heard from anyone that the pain is sharp or a surface pain.
I have severe stomach cramps where i find a spot in the floor in the bathroom and lay on my stomach and bring my knees to my chest. The pain is center around my stomach stretching across my right side, all the way around to my back, I sweat, cant breath, and cannot get in a comfortable position for it to stop hurting. It hurts until i throw up. My bowel movements are not like they used to be, slightly green, in explaining to the drs, they say it sounds like my gallbladder.
Stomach pain does not usually indicate a liver problem - hepatic involvment would be presented with jaundice (yellow eyes/skin) and lethargy primarily. But, yes, the pills may also ruin a liver - PM me if you need to chat further....I am a liver patient that has already done chemo and a bunch more.......
