stomach-pain

Avatar f tn ve been dealing with include fatigue, headaches, body pain (joint and muscle), lightheadedness, hair loss, poor concentration, forgetfulness (short-term memory problems), stomach issues, overall weak and drained feeling, sweats and hot flashes, occasional chills, slight weight loss, and occasional hand and feet tingling (mostly hands). Does anyone have any idea what all of these symptoms could be related to?
Avatar n tn Nervousness, Sweating, Intense Hunger, Pain in the Chest, Dehydration, Diarrhea, Weight Loss? For how long have you been experiencing the symptoms you mentioned above? Which one of the symptoms appeared first and so on? Does symptom show any pattern or cycle? Let me know more about your condition so that I could further help.
Avatar f tn Dont know if the weight loss is normal. Was your cyst big? Could it account for some of the weight? Are you eating/drinking normally? Change in toilet habbits? If you had laparoscopic surgery (keyhole), they would have pumped your stomach full of co2 gas, which would make you swell up. Light exercise is supposed to help it go away, but it will probably take weeks for it to disappear completely.
Avatar f tn Hi. I'm 34 year old mother of 2 young children. For the last year, I haven't been able to feel normal. Last September, I was vomiting so I went to the doctor and she ran regular blood work and it showed urobilinogen in my urine (4.0). She did an ultrasound of my gallbladder and liver and it showed no abnormalities. We did urine again a week later and it was down to 0.2.
Avatar m tn I'm having a pain, stomach cramps and diarrhea/loose stool problem myself. But also on the right and no swelling that I've seen. The doctor thought I might have a problem with my pancreas today with pressing and ordered blood testing and x-rays. I've had extreme pain in my stomach on eating in the past and was diagnosed with gastritis, advised to follow a clear liquid diet I think it was for 72 hours.
Avatar f tn No nausea, vomiting, weight loss or loss of appetite. In fact, get starving feelings, at the same time sometimes as the discomfort. Like fullness in upper stomach, hunger in lower. No notable change in bowels. Lifelong IBS C sufferer I tried to google my symptoms, and gastric cancer seems to present with these same epigastric symptoms. Needless to say, I'm concerned.
Avatar f tn She has absolutely no pain or anything, so is it more likely that her weight loss is from being more active?
Avatar f tn Unintentional and unexplained weight loss is definitely not good. There are many causes like worms in stool, depression, anorexia nervosa, AIDS, cancers especially colon cancers, drug abuse, infections and loss of appetite. Loss of appetite can again be due to certain medications, drug abuse, depression, AIDS, acute and chronic infections, cancers and hypothyroidism. Either you do not eat well or there is increased metabolism as in hyperthyroid states, HIV, cancer etc.
Avatar f tn There could be many reasons for missed period Hormones, Weight loss or Weight Gain medications Stress Anxiety. And The pains Could also be many reasons Gas Stomach Flu Ovarian Cyst . Best way to find out is Doctor. Because we could guess but honestly without test being done only could speculate. Make an appt. it will ease your anxiety and also get down to trhe problem.
Avatar m tn As pain increases, heart rate and therefore blood pressure increases as well. Have you ever had thyroid studies done, any weight loss recently unexplained, Does the heat intolerance occur at any other times? What I'm getting at is a possible hyperthyroid state. Intolerance to heat, weight loss that is unexplained, irritability, fast heart rate, etc., all occur with being hyperthyroid.
Avatar f tn I am still losing weight and my stomach problems have returned. So, the weight loss came right before the stomach stuff...... We will see what the GYN says. I also have to go to the GASTRO, so between the two of them, hopefully they can figure something out! Side point: Two Fridays ago I weighed 162 according to doc.
2174192 tn?1338758326 Hello dear and welcome to the medhelp forum. Hypothyroidism causes less acid secretion in the stomach, causing low ferritin levels and less iron absorption. Symptoms of hypothyroidism are seen like weight gain, lethargy, drowsiness etc. Vitamin D deficiency can also cause fatigue, depression, low calcium levels and weak and painful bones which can be fractured easily without much trauma. There can be weight loss, diarrhea and lack of sleep in the mild form.
Avatar f tn I am looking to find out if there are any weight loss surgeries available to people that have had the nissen procedure. This discussion is related to Reflux back after 4 weeks Post Op of Nissen Fundoplication Surgery.
Avatar m tn m not sure if this fully describes what is wrong with me. The stomach pain includes a dull, achy pain that is constant, but gets worse with stress, caffeine, alcohol or certain foods. I think the pain causes me to eat more because it is almost like a hunger pain. It's so bizarre to feel full and still have the stomach pain I experience because I feel full and hungry at the same time. When I first started having these pains, I weighed 172 lbs and stood at 6'0.
Avatar f tn Are you underweight, average weight or over weight? If you fall in either of the last two, I wouldn't worry, its not uncommon to lose weight. I'm down 2 or 3 lbs, at 8 weeks. I'm over weight so losing isn't unexpected, plus I've been sick to my stomach.
5441042 tn?1368009773 Well, there can be many causes for this pain such as muscle pull, colitis, IBS or trapped gas. However, since it is in right side and in appendix area, it is important to rule out appendicitis immediately. Please consult your doctor regarding this or go to the ER. Hope this helps. Take care! 626316 tn?1221977378 I have had stomach pain since i was 15 years old. I am 25 years old now. My stomach hurts on a daily basis ranges from mild to severe. I have no blood in my stool and i have controlled my diet to see if the pain is related, but it can happen with any food that i eat. I've lost about 25lbs in the last year. I have no idea how to get help. Do you have any ideas how to help diagnose my problem?
Avatar f tn I have been having upper middle stomach pain right below breast and top of rib cage. The pain is like a dull burning sensation that comes and goes. May last 15 minutes to an hour. My mid back also has a dull ache at the same time. Usually laying flat on my stomach tends to relieve the pain some. It does occur after eating sometime but not with any particular food. It could be cereal or steak it does not seem to matter. I do not have any nausea or fever.
Avatar f tn Always been a solid 115 for a couple years I somehow never went up or down. Couple months ago I decided to change up my diet. This caused stomach pain and weight loss which started to scare me and I thought something was wrong. Went to doctors and he said its nothing. I lost about 10 pounds during that time. Since then I have no weighed myself because I do not want to know and stress out. Pain in stomach got better after I went to the doctor and he told me I was fine.
Avatar f tn Guilty as charged but a good tool if a patient is truly their own best advocate. Unexplained Weight Loss/Appetite Loss/Depression are all symptoms of various cancers, thyroid issues. So...I'm scared and sad and a bit at a loss. The weight continues to drop (indicated more by clothes fit than scale) and it seems to my eyes to be more muscle than fat. I continue to have nearly no interest in food and at this point, 2 drs are going to blame a nearly 30 lb weight loss on anxiety. Again...
Avatar n tn If you are exercising too much, then also you can have low sodium in body. My sincere advice is to follow a good weight loss program, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and drink lots of fluids. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
