Gastritis can cause pain in the upper abdomen after eating .Peptic ulcer disease causes upper left quadrant pain that usually begins 2 hours after a meal. It gets better with over the counter antacids. Stomach flu can cause indigestion and abdominal discomfort. Viral gastroenteritis can lead to nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. The exact location of pain and other details will help in determining the accurate cause .Take light meals. Avoid spicy fried foods.
I'm 20w+5 and its been happening to me on and off all day
Mine were elevated which causes more acid in the stomach. As my parathyroid hormone came down, I felt SO much better. I stopped the PPI's and just take carafate when I go to sleep. I do still have GERD/Acid Reflux but under control. Check your calcium serum also.

After I eat the pain gets worse and I just tried to drink some juice and had an immediate increase in pain again. It is constant but gets worse any time I eat or drink anything. The pain does not seem serious but I am very uncomfortable and a bit concerned. Any one else had this if so what causes this and is there anyway to get relief?
m not sure if this fully describes what is wrong with me. The stomach pain includes a dull, achy pain that is constant, but gets worse with stress, caffeine, alcohol or certain foods. I think the pain causes me to eat more because it is almost like a hunger pain. It's so bizarre to feel full and still have the stomach pain I experience because I feel full and hungry at the same time.
When I first started having these pains, I weighed 172 lbs and stood at 6'0.
I visited the doctor who told me i have a hiatus hernia. He felt it. I am booked to some tests at the end of april. However I doubt that is the sole problem. Reading up the symptoms. I don't have them. My pain resembles the hiatus in that I get the bloated full feeling after even a small meal ( however not always, this comes and goes).
This attack wont go. I am in constant pain. Mostly on my right side high up, where I imagine my liver is.

Hi. I'm 18 and have been dealing with this pain for years but it recently got worse. Everything I eat I get stomach pain. It is unbearable. It causes nausea all day. I can't eat for days depending on the pain. I drop weight in a day. The pain is so bad the doctor gives me oxycodin and I'm only 18. No one has any idea what's wrong with me. I'm starving. I have been having upper middle stomach pain right below breast and top of rib cage. The pain is like a dull burning sensation that comes and goes. May last 15 minutes to an hour. My mid back also has a dull ache at the same time. Usually laying flat on my stomach tends to relieve the pain some. It does occur after eating sometime but not with any particular food. It could be cereal or steak it does not seem to matter. I do not have any nausea or fever.

For the last six months I have been having this burning, crampy pain in my stomach. It makes me feel like I want to vomit and belch. But mostly, it is a real bad burning pain.

I also suffer from stomach pain after eating eggs and this has gone on for years. Lately however in addition, I have started breaking out in hives after drinking diet soda. I thought perhaps it was the aspertame used as a sweetner, but I have no trouble when I drink and eat other foods and powdered drinks containing aspertame. It's just when I drink diet soda.

Abdominal pain could be due to a number of different conditions.Not all abdominal pain lead to stomach cancer.

Peptic ulcer pain is usually a burning pain. They commonly occur in the stomach and duodenum. Stomach ulcers cause pain on eating and duodenal ulcers cause pain on fasting (2-3 hrs after eating). Peptic ulcers are eroded areas in the lining of the digestive tract usually in the stomach and duodenum. The two common causes for this are: infection with helicobacter pylori and use of non steroidal anti inflammatory medications (NSAID).

ve been diagnosed with an inflamed stomach lining, and possibly acid reflux disease, which i take meds for now and am feeling much better.Where is the pain, lower or higher stomach, cuz your actual stomach is right under your chest..are you having any nausea? Burning feeling?(Mine i feel in my chest as well as stomach) That was something that really bothered me as well as the pains you described. So I would look into this with your Dr, and try not to eat or drink anything you know irritates you.
