For the last six months I have been having this burning, crampy pain in my stomach. It makes me feel like I want to vomit and belch. But mostly, it is a real bad burning pain.
This all started after I was exposed to my mother in law who has H.Pylori. Then, I started having a couple of drinks two nights a week ( either a couple of beers or a couple of Strawberry daiquiris). My stomach has always been very weak and bothersome to me anyhow.
i am 16 years old and for the past few months, about 3. it's happed before, it didnt just start, i throw up my stomach lining, it yellow and stringy. in the middle of the night i always wake up to a strong pain in my stomach, in between my ribs. it doesn't only happen then, it happends through out the day to and the only thing that helps it feel better is to eat something, but it's not a hunger pain. any suggestions?
I have had bad stomach problems since I was a child and no doctor can tell me what is wrong. I am always nauseated. With or without food my stomach hurts. I vomit constantly. I am average weight and only 18 years old. I'm not pregnant. I'm just trying to see what is wrong. So can somebody please tell me why I am always nauseated. I don't eat spicy foods. I always watch what I eat. I drink plenty of water and I am pretty healthy. I take medication for heartburn but does not help.
ever since childhood ive had gas issues, but now as an adult I am either unable to sleep or im waking up early in the morning in so much pain I can barely move because of the gas and discomfort in my stomach. so bad it makes me vomit. the only way the pain goes away is if I take a hot bath, vomit or go to the bathroom. what could this be?
For about a year now, I have been having upper stomach pain after I have eaten certain foods. It started out with eggs, but has now progressed to other foods like peanuts, tomatos, squash, zuccinni, and broccoli. I was able to eat these foods all my life, and now I can no longer eat them without experiencing pain. The pain usually starts about 30 minutes to an hour after I eat, then continues for about 2-4 hours.
I am not bulimic, I just have a stomach virus and I have been nauseous for about three hours. Whenever I throw up with a stomach virus, I am always relieved of the pain afterwards. I can't seem to throw up, no matter what I do. I tried sticking my fingers down my throat, but I won't even gag. I also tried bending over and contracting my stomach muscles to get something moving down there. I even tried intense exercise after eating, and nothing will work. Please help!
Now two days later I still feel very fatigued and still have sharp stomach pain...especially when it is empty. I also have some discomfort in my middle to upper back but that could be unrelated as my job requires me to bend over a lot and my bed isn't the best.
Any ideas as to what could have caused this? Could only four beers really aggravate my stomach that much when that's usually nothing for me?
i had a hysterectomy 7 years ago and 1week after surgery my stomach broke open they did not put a drainage tube inwhen had operation they reopened me in the doctors surgery and took a swob found septisiemia.thenleft site opened had five more operations on hysterectomy site to remove septis and left me opened each time to heal inside out i am still interriable crippling pain bloat like i am 6\7 months pregnant.
fundoplication and near total gastrectomy due to the damage of vagues nerve, now I have severe achalazie and gastropareses of the remaining part of the stomach and small intestine MY problem is I CAN NOT vomit, since fundopl, even now, I suffer with nausea, cramps, pain, foams, etc etc and can not induce vomiting, not even with self induced methods.
For the past 2 weeks i have been vomiting after meals. it usually happens 1/2 hour to 3 hours after eating. i have no pain or nausea otherwise. only nausea right before i vomit. my doctor has done blood work, HIDA scan on my gall bladder, and an endoscopy- he did a biopsy to test for Hpylori. the only thing that was found was a hiatial hurniea and inflammation in my stomach close to the small intestine. my gall bladder test came back normal. what could be causing all the vomiting?
ago Often when I eat too fast or too much, I have to vomit it up because I get a sick feeling and pain in my stomach. Mos\t of the time I have to purge to get the food to come out. Last night, I ate some KFC (a chicken thigh about 4 tbs.'s of mashed potatoes and about 5 tbs.'s of coleslaw in about a 5 minute span. I was so hungry that I just everything very fast and immediately I felt sick and my stomach was in pain.
I continued to vomit up till the day of my surgery. After this type of surgery you can NO LONGER vomit....ever. Hoped it was the problem and fixed, several weeks after my surgery I began to have the most unbearable paid in my stomach and have figured out that it is my body wanting to throw up and I can't. I have severe nausia after ANYTHING goes into my belly and then the pain begins. I have lost over 40 pounds in a year. I cannot afford to loose another pound 5'6 and 108 lbs.
Everytime I go out, about once a month, I have severe epigastri pain after drinking a couple drinks, it lasts for about half an hour and it gets so bad i vomit and have sweats, after the half hour or so I'm fine, what could this be? When I was pregnant with my 3rd child 2 years ago I would have heartburn so bad I would spit up blood, so I don't know if this has anything to do with it, maybe a stomach ulcer or something? Thats the only time it hurst though is when i drink alcohol....
You will need to take a combination of medications like a proton pump inhibitor such as omeprazole, lansoprazole or pantoprazole empty stomach in the morning and an antacid gel after meals for complete relief. Possibility of H pylori infection too should be looked into and a combination antibiotic tried.
Life style changes that will help include: Avoid heavy meals and eat frequent small meals.
re tummy is sensitive? Like after eating or drinking I feel like stomach ache/diarrheoa sensation coming on...but it doesnt result in runny tummy...also, last night whilst sleeping I felt this sharp pain probably near my diaphragm/below boobs that felt like I was tearing? Is this a sign of things stretching? Felt weird and didn't know what to make of it, so I just drank some water.
My syptoms started in 2006 a few months after I had my son. I vomit after I eat. Sometimes it will be an hour or two after i eat. Most of the time it is 5 to 15 minutes after. I have seen a GI doctor and she didn't know what was wrong. It went away for awhile then came back. Then i was sent to a surgeon because I have a hietel hernea. He decide that that was not causing it so he would not do surgery. I'm soooooo sick of getting sick all the time. We don't even go out to eat anymore.
This might be blood.
If the stomach bleeds, as in an ulcer, and the blood is digested by the stomach acids, you would vomit what looks like "coffee grounds."

You need to be examined.
If you start vomiting bright red blood, this would be an emergency.....get to the Emergency Room at the hospital right away.

I have a fairly healthy diet; no meat, try to eat fresh veggies and fruit. I also do my best to stay away from processed foods and rarely eat any junk food. I have never smoked and I don't drink.These past couple of years have been extremely stressful so I am not sure if stress has something to do with it. I used to have migraines and took Tylenol for migraines. I have since stopped since my migraines have disappeared.
t have reflux anymore but have developed new problems like bloating and pain in stomach. I have severe pain in stomach after I eat anything and often have upset stomach. My doctor has prescribed few medicines but those are not helping very well. Will these problems continue in future as well or will subside over the period? Also, I have heard that people, who have undergone fundoplication are not able to produce vomit forever. Is it so?
