Urticaria can be due to allergens or can be idiopathic also. Since it started after your return fropm Mexico, so it can be related to your Mexico visit. Use a mild cleanser with moisturizing properties like Cetaphil. Also use cotton clothes and change the clothes twice if there is any increased sweating. Try keeping the skin free of sweat as far as possible. For the itching antihistaminics like Benadryl or Claritin can be taken. also conitue taking the steroids under medical supervision.
My 33 year old African American girlfriend has a history of stomach ulcer, GERD, anemia, heavy menstruation and cramping, anxiety/depression and asthma. In 09/08, after returning from Mexico, she had severe lower left abdominal pain radiating to her back, and eventually high fever, dehydration, vomiting, and black diarrhea. She finally got some antibiotics and the most severe symptoms resolved.
Daughter, 6, has had stomach pains (near navel) for 7 weeks - came on after trip to Mexico. Active pinworm infection treated recently with Vermox to no resolve (preparing for second dose in 3 days). Labs normal. No blood in stool. Mostly regular bowel movements (seems to get some relief post b/m). Slight nausea when traveling in car.
It was a 22 hour trip. I was so tired, my stomach started cramping, I think from sitting too much and my leg and feet got very swollen.
I can imagine traveling during the third trimester!!! I bet it would be even more harder than traveling at 18 weeks. I recommend to not go, but ask your doctor just in case!
I met with a neurologist who said it would get better over time. I had an MRI done that was clean. I recently got back from Mexico where I wound up getting travelers diarreah toward the end of our trip. Immediately upon arriving home, I got a cold sore (I get them at least once a year) and felt pretty horrible for about a week. Very run down. The muscle fatigue and off feeling has come back and been back for about 3-4 weeks. Muscle fasiculations in my calves, right eye twitching....
After a horrific trip to Mexico I could not get rid of the travelers diarrea brain fog ect.
Im 47 and have recently been diagnosed hypothyroid. On scale 0, I am 9+.
Am new at this but am on Levothroid 25 mcg for about two weeks now.
Seem to be more tired than ever. On and off stomach aches diarrea. dizziness. I had the ultasound and do have nodules I guess one is larger that the other and is solid. The doc says he is turning over to the Endo. Have been taking hgh spray on and off for approx.
Several friends and I recently visited Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and after returning, each person from the trip has small brown spots on various locations of his/her body - next to nipple, palm, side of torso, and lower back. Also, the spots range in size from about a dime to 2 inches long by 1/2 inch wide. I have read various posts on hyperpigmentation, but it seems far too coincidental that we all have the spots, especially since we range from very fair skin to Mediterranean.

The first time I noticed this was after a trip to Mexico six years ago, where I unfortunatly was struck by Norwalk virus.
Ever since when I get on a flight the right side of my face and brow line go numb, dentist freezing numb. Shortly after this sensation is followed by what feels like hundreds of bee stings across my face and right brow followed by intense pressure behind my right eye and pain in the right half of my head, from brow to earlobe.
My ques is i am 31 wks nd jus got bk last nyt frm El paso and the 8 hr trip got me nd baby stressed bc she moved like iv mever felt her move b4 my guess is bc i didnt sleep oe eat well ... well in 3 or 4 wks we will b goin bk to El paso to shop thn goin to cross to Mexico for a day and i will be 34 wks due Aug 28 bt my concern is is it a good idea i take the chance or i better not risk it?
t feel the pill affect me at all and he said to stop taking it after a month, it would supposedly regulate my stomach(i dont know he was explaining in spanish). He made me stop eating dairy products and many other things like bread for a couple of weeks for a study(after those weeks was when i provided a sample).
Where was your favorate international travel place? I love international traveling. My last trip was to the"Grotto" in Lourdes, France 'and Paris in August 08' Everyone should visit France at least once in there life time, it's so quaint and beautiful. They have the most amazing churches I have ever seen dating back to the 1700's. I am planning a trip to Israel within 1-2 yrs.
2 weeks ago I went to Mexico for a family Vacation. I am 19, but The drinking age there is 18. I am not an alcoholic, but I am very paranoid about my health. While I was there I had about 4 units of alcohol every other night. That is the most often I have ever drank.
The day after the first time I drank I started getting nauseous and bloated the next day and got full on food very fast. At first I thought it was a hangover, but it was only my stomach.
Sounds like, if there is enough tooth to cap that you should have root canal and then cap. Might warrant trip to Mexico for vacation and dental work. Find a referral for reliable dentist. Sounds like it would cost the same as just a root canal and cap in your country. Might as well make a vacaation out of it.
My pain is exactly where you describe yours and I am unable to tie it to anything either. Last trip to mexico I drank my share of margaritas with no problems at all. I describe mine as very painful hunger pains, cause you know when you are hungry and your stomach growls and then gets worse, thats what mine does but its just a very painful gnawing thing that is up higher than hunger pains............
Pancreatitis is bad and very painful, it can cause major problems sometimes.
Im jst excited n decided to post this tomorrow im having a long trip a 24 hr trip to see my family after over a year without seeing them in person their finally going to meet their 2nd gran child n his a week old n hoping for the best hoping he aint going to be soo fuzzy on the road n gonna be a bit worried that his gonna have little time to stretch n lay on his back when his asleep :/ n i knw my 2 yr old son will be soo fuzzy of jst being in the car seat for sooo long
Anyone ever travled to Mexico for HSV-2 Suppressive Therapy Medication? I've been thinking about going to one of the border towns to buy some medication specifically Acyclovir. I'm working full time and am covered through my insurance for prescription meds and Dr's visits, but later on in the future will need to cut my full time job to possibly part time or less as I will be starting nursing school and willl not have the time to work as much with my time for school.
