sneeze

Avatar m tn Some experts say that tonsils, sinusitis or diabetes could cause this but my mother does not suffer from any of these conditions.Just to let you know,my mother has a wet sneeze, with a lot of mist and spray emitted in it.Thanks.
Avatar n tn Although, my muscular injuries have completely healed, I am just unable to sneeze since 30-40 days now. I did have 1 sneeze a few days after the accident but after that I had an aborted sneeze. And since the aborted sneeze, I just cannot get a sneeze. Its as if, my brain doesnt allow a sneeze to come thinking that it may not get completed. (Please note that my aborted sneeze was during the period my muscles were injured and I was bed ridden).
Avatar n tn In 1997, I had a period of a month or more where I could not sneeze; I would have the urge to sneeze, build up to the sneeze, but it would not come out. Then, I went back to "normal" sneezing. Then several years later, I had the same thing again, for over a month, but again, went back to "normal" sneezing. Now, over two years since the last episode, I have been experiencing the same thing again, for around 6 weeks.
Avatar f tn For the past 6 months I have found myself having a choking cough for no reason then after it is over I sneeze. What is going on? Anyone ever experienced this? If so what is it and why does it happen? Any answers will be appreciated.
Avatar f tn Last week, there was about a 50/50 chance I would sneeze, but since Friday, I've stopped. I'll feel them coming, but they won't come out (the Ahh, but no Choo). I want to sneeze so bad, but it's just not happening. I don't know if it's psychological (worrying and thinking about it too much) or if there's something wrong with my internal sneezing mechanism. Honestly, I'm kind of hoping it's the latter--that may be easier to cure.
Avatar n tn two months to get your bowels back to normal??? thats F-D up. I still sneeze now and then, and I never had allergies my entire life. not trying to freak people out, but I think its important to understand how it works, so a few weeks down the road, your not freaking out, and you realize its just going to take longer. us 'done addicts have to really earn it. But many have done it, and like I have often said..........there are many more WORSE things that you could be going through!!
Avatar f tn Another more obscure idea is that somehow this has become some sort of conditioned response from him. He expects it to happen, so it does. I remeber once I got nauseus from a horrible lunch before inside a library. For years after I couldn't enter any public library without feeling sick. I'm fine now. If it isn't an allergy but a learnt response, maybe just being aware of this might change things. But I am not an expert, just thought your problem was interesting!
5509293 tn?1428535075 The one thing which comes up every now and again is what I call the sneeze. A while back I had full body jerks at night which would snap my legs and upper body together quite suddenly and waken me. Now after a period of quiet, I have a milder form of this, as if I've sneezed in my sleep and bent in two. A few times I've also awoken biting the tip of my tongue which is a little weird. Do you think this is just sleep jerks?
Avatar f tn This is my first cycle; I'm 41 (close to 42) and before starting had decent FSH levels (6.8 then 8.4, with estradiol <50) and an antral follicle count of 13. The doc measured 10 follicles today but thinks only about 6 might be mature enough for retrieval on Thursday. Any insight about the Ganirelix would be very welcome. Many thanks!
1530342 tn?1405020090 com/_news/2013/04/12/17661517-the-eye-popping-truth-about-why-we-close-our-eyes-when-we-sneeze?lite One whiff of budding flowers and the pressure in your chest starts to build. Your nose feels twitchy, your eyes snap shut and a-a-a-a-c-hooo -- a sneeze rockets out at 75 to 100 miles per hour. And with a long, miserable allergy season ahead, that's going to be happening a lot. We all know how a sneeze happens. What we don’t know is why our eyes automatically close when we do it.
Avatar m tn Since I had a terrible flu last winter may be the swine flu, I am having a little bit of difficulty in breathing. It happens everytime I get strangulate when I eat or sneeze or cough. I usually feel about 10-15 mins of a bit of difficulty in breathing which then dissapeared. Almost everyday I sneeze two times and I get this problem.I would like to know whether it is asthma. It also happened to a family member who died of respiratory problem and it could be genetic related.
Avatar m tn I am a female and almost always sneeze uncontrolably for a few minutes after finishing meals in restaurants. For a long time I thought it was the wine...but drinking wine with meals doesn noot cause me to sneeze at home. Now I wonder if there is some kind of preservative that most restaurants use that might be setting me off. Does anyone else have this problem? Or an idea? This discussion is related to why does my boyfriend sneeze after eating?.
Avatar f tn Ok I know that if your heart rate is high(tachy) to try to sneeze or cough to break it right? But what if you sneeze and your heart rate goes really really fast but then slows down to normal rate after 2 mins is that ok even when you have arrhythmia problem? It was just one incident that happen and don't want to say anything to my cardio if this is nothing to worry about since I have arrhythmia problem that my cardio are doing more testing because it runs in my family all on my mother side.
8550670 tn?1399065403 I asked already in the 18- 24 age gap and didn't get a response. Hopefully someone here may have some advice. Anyways I've been having regular sneezing fits and occasionally when I sneeze I have a sharp pain in my lower abdomen/ pelvic area. I'm only seven weeks along and this is my first pregnancy. Has anyone experienced this before and do you know what it is? I've heard of ligament stretching but I thought that didn't happen until at least the second or third trimester.
609540 tn?1257320441 When I wake and I start to sneeze, the whole day I will sneeze and my nose is very itchy and my eyes become red and watery.Sometimes I don't know why I sneeze, but sometimes when there is a dust I sneeze a lot, so thus this means that iam allergy with the dust?
Avatar n tn I am sure the co-workers were not focusing on the wet pants, but were more concerned about your father. The sneeze may have caused a valsalva response, but most likely it didn't actually kill him, he probably would have died, especially given his symptoms earlier in the morning. Condolences to you and your family. Take care.
Avatar m tn Anyway thiese make this strange hacking sound over and over agian taking everything out of him and then at the end a sneeze. Item no. 2 He is always stretching his body as if he was tryiing to make something go into place is the best way I can descrribe it and in conjuction with that he is constantly checking his groin region. I have on several occasions massaged the area with no response.
Avatar n tn I noticed that when I wake up in the morning my nose gets itchy and then I would sneeze several times causing my nose to get clogged or sometimes runny. Is this what they call an allergic rhinitis? It's very annoying because it happens almost every time I wake up in the morning. I have changed my pillow to anti-allergenic and I change my bedsheets once every week but still the problem persists.
Avatar m tn Why does my male friend sneeze when he is with m.either here at my home ,or his home, whenever we go out? I have not been wearing perfume or hairspray,make-up,even changed my body lotion to non perfume plus my washing powder.
Avatar m tn since my husband and i are living in for almost 4 yrs i always noticed that he used to sneeze after he coughs, though this does not happens every night there were times that i was woken up because of the noise! as loud as if there is no tomorrow!
Avatar n tn If your nose is also itching along with the bouts of sneezing or you have any rashes somewhere, probably allergy may be the cause. A sneeze may simply be the response to an allergen or irritant such as pollen, grass, mold, pet dander and dust mites. Swelling of eyes on taking any medication should not be ignored. Mefanamic acid may cause a serious type of allergic reaction called anaphylaxis.
182632 tn?1259937648 It tends to happen more on the right side and it probably just got stretched with the pressure of the sneeze. As far as relieving the pressure, is there a couch at your work in a breakroom or something that you could lay on during breaks and lunch?
Avatar f tn Hello Fergygreen, I was wondering if you have the sneezing sensation but are unable to cmplete the sneeze. I've never owned a cat until last year when I adopted a kitty. She is one year old now and I am suffering what I believe to be some Allery symptoms but I am not able to complete the sneeze. I wonder if the cat has anything to do with it.
525485 tn?1314364901 Pretty much if my bowel movement doesnt want to fall out, it stays there until its ready because I feel too much pressure to try. Also, when I sneeze, I get pelvic pain. Does any of this sound normal. My doc just keeps telling me that pelvic pressure is normal. I just want to make sure that everything is okay and that some of this is normal. Any help is much appreciated.
Avatar f tn I'm on day 23 and still sneezing! You get used to it.
Avatar m tn Hi there & Welcome! Sneezing is one of the initial signs of acute withdrawal. (Yawning & watery eyes usually precede sneezing.) When you're on opiates they flood the body with histamines (that's why people scratch when they're high.) When they're withdrawn the body's natural histamine response is shut down & so you sneeze & tear a lot. It's completely normal to experience this in detox & the symptom diminishes over time.
Avatar n tn I could feel the pressure sensation for some time after that sneeze and had a three sneeze about an hour later with the same sharp pain just to the left center of my breast bone. Feeling the pain sensation just after that sneeze when I breathed deep. The pain went away after some time but a sensation of pressure could still be felt for some time after that when I breathed deep.
Avatar f tn When you sneeze have your legs ever buckled? (Sneeze means a real sneeze not a small minor one.) When you have a real belly laugh have your legs ever buckled? (This is the type where you are standing up and someone tells a joke you weren't expecting and you let out a sudden laugh.) When you cough (connected with an illness) have your legs ever buckled? (Like getting over a major cold and you are trying to have "productive" coughs.
