Sneeze velocity

Common Questions and Answers about Sneeze velocity

Avatar n tn I can see the contraction from the high velocity sneeze causing the spine to compress resulting in a pinched nerve. Not sure I can tell the difference between a nerve pain and a muscular cramp pain. Other thoughts? My "sneeze chest pain" lasted about 4 min today, but typically it only 2-3 min. I have no other symptoms that I am aware of and am otherwise healthy. E.g no cold or coughing.
Avatar f tn i have another question if you dont mind? I think i usually sneeze from my mouth which sounds weird but i felt a sneeze coming on earlier so i shut my mouth to test wether anything came out of my nose instead of my mouth, but this really hurt, my throught hurt for a bit after that! what do you make of this? Thanks again.

92903 tn?1309908311 The other day I was eating a spicey vege and tofu burrito when an ill-timed glance into the afternoon winter sun caused me to sneeze a mouthful of the stuff across the restaurant. Didn't look at all like what drops into the porcelain bowl the next day (though the fire-and-brimstone was about the same...) The reason of course is that the chewed up burrito was at the start of its cycle and so it looked (and thankfully for the lady I hit, smelled) much different.
Avatar f tn I get this also if I gag or sneeze. I stifle my sneezes (have since I was little). Lately this radiating electrical feeling has been more frequent when I sneeze when before it was once in a great while. Is it dangerous? It feels horrible and doesn't dissipate for like a couple minutes. Thanks.
Avatar m tn as I am sure you all can relate it last about 5-20seconds (at this point) when I bend over, cough, sneeze, etc. I have been to 2 NS, one suggested surgery other did not. I am young and very active- the thought of surgery is scary and seems extremely premature. I control my migraines with daily RX, but I would like more insight to the head rushes. Has anyone noticed tendencies to yours? Helpful ways to relieve? I don't experience everyday and usually only in morning.
Avatar f tn Several studies show a decrease in cerebral blood flow with systolic and diastolic cerebral blood flow (CBF) velocity decreased 44% and 60%, respectively.People with POTS have problems maintaining homeostasis when changing position, i.e. moving from one chair to another or reaching above their heads. Many patients also experience symptoms when stationary or even while lying down. Check to see if u have EDS as that could explain the complications u had and continue to have.
Avatar f tn ) 2 for me (and for others too) it began in a very stressful time period, so it could be possible that this thing that patm causes can exploit weakened immune systems to grow in an uncontrolled velocity 3 yes it seems like this patm trigger also creates it's own antibacterial barrier, some time ago I have read about some types of fungi are able to do so (also candida albicans) , since the two years I am suffering from PATM I was like ~2/3 times sick, nothing compared to previously 4 because t
Avatar n tn The compression fractures usually occur in the spine from the vertebrae collasping on top of one another or something as simple as a sneeze or rolling over in bed can cause a fracture. It takes a long time for a osteoporotic pt to heal and it can be hideously painful but it sounds like your mom in law is oversedated which if she is not moving around much and really out of it when she does she could be a great risk for a fall or reinjuring herself.
125112 tn?1217277462 Federal Match ammo is only one of the acceptable loads, however Federal has a history of producing rounds that have consistent velocity and performance characteristics. The M1A is in my opinion the finest rifle available to the civilian in the world, although it has design compromises. Some versions have a "grenade launcher" option.
