Avatar f tn I'm 16 I started my cycle at 13 I've been on the pill to help with my severe cramps and around January 2012 I had a break through period that should have not been there I went to the ob gyn and they said I was still developing and it should be fine, but it never fixed itself from then to now I've been on depo which didn't work, estradiol, and the implanon, which all have not worked. I have been bleeding every day or every other day out of the year.
Avatar f tn I just saw your post. I take 50 mcg's of synthroid every other day and I feel like a million bucks after doing so. I did it on my own because I felt and looked like **** when taking it everyday. I skip the medicine entirely every other day. It's a mistake to take two different doses every other day. Just stick with one dose every other day and give your body a total rest from the medicine every other day. I don't know why it works but it works.
Avatar m tn i have a 2 yr old little girl who has been having loose stools every other day for the past few months. the frequency is normal (1-3 x's)per day but its starting to worry me. She is not weak or anything, infact she is full of energy but im starting to get a little worried.
1709162 tn?1314084832 I am just starting week 3 on Sertraline. The first 2 1/2 were like what you said above. The problem when dealing with anxiety, everything is magnified. I found my self anxious over every side effect. But as I read through countless posts regarding Zoloft, I realized it is all part of the drug settling in.
Avatar m tn My psychiatrist prescribed a starting dose of sertraline of 50mg/day. Since starting the sertraline again i have been suffering from physiological anxiety symptoms such as a tight throat, lump in throat, trouble swallowing and breathing, etc. Is there an existing drug interaction between Sertraline and Buspirone and/or Mirtazapine ? Or can a person's toleration of a drug change over time? I am also dependent on imovane/zopiclone to be able to sleep. Please help.
Avatar m tn m terrified to stop the klonopin but really want off of it. Do u think I can cut the 0.25mg to .125mg for a few days then every other day and see how it goes ? Also my pdoc said that he wants to eventually have me at 100mg zoloft so I'm just in a bad situation right now not knowing what to do and want off the klonopin any suggestions are incredibly helpful. Thank you.
Avatar n tn The medical profession have no answers. I have suffered from idiopathic angioedema for 25 years, undertaken every allergy test and not found the cause. I have been taking 2 prescribed antihistimines Loratadine & Telfast every day which has helped to reduce the attacks to 2-3 per month. By sheer luck & perserverence I think I have found my solution, I started taking Sertraline 50 mg/day in November 2011 and have only had 1 attack in 10 months.
Avatar f tn At first I was trying to adjust to my glasses and several times, sure enough, there was a spot on the glasses. However, after taking my glasses off over 20 times a day to clean the left lens I've now determined that it is my left eye, not the glasses. So I saw the neuro again on Tuesday and he gave me Vyvanse. Tried that on Thursday. Not good at all. Felt like a rabbit on speed. Not good at all.
Avatar n tn Entecavir is very expensive in Philippines. Can I take it every other day? Or Can I split it to half?
Avatar m tn Anyone know whether it is okay to take levothyroxine every other day? I am prescribed 75 mg for hypothyroidism, but due to insurance I decided to take levothyroxine every other day and 6 months later my blood test showed that my thyroid levels were...normal. How can this be?? In fact, I really have not felt any side effects from this decreased dosage.
Avatar f tn I have variable pain day to day. Almost like clock work it is low one day, moderate or high the next, low, moderate until after I haven't injured myself for a while then it startst to level off. I did notice that when I took either Tylenol or Celebrex on the bad day it started to break the cycle. Any suggestions or has anyone seen this?
Avatar f tn Is it safe to take every other day. I find that it does help my depression when I take it this way but I am not sure if it is going to cause more problems by taking it this way. Thanks in advance.
Avatar f tn hiya, i have just been changed from one anti depressant to another called sertraline, i have been taking it for just over a week, i have been getting terrible headaches, which feels like my head is going to blow, my skin is uncontrollably itchy to the p-oint of scratching until i bleed, i am having terrible pounding in my chest, with palpitations, not sleeping at all, feeling sick a lot, dizziness, tightness in the chest to the point of it feels like i am being choked and can not breath properly
1123420 tn?1350561158 I'm on Zoloft it was actually started after I became pregnant! Dose was even increased by my ob last week. So far I'm healthy and my little girl does better as well. When I wasn't on it I was panicking and crying all day every day and would have constant painful braxton hicks.
Avatar m tn About 4 yrs ago I had a fall in my home, it was head on fall over ground, had a small cut over left eye brow, there was no unconsciousness but I developed BPPV next day which lasted for a week and recovered with Epleys’s manoeuvre. I keep getting BPPV every few months. Last year I had depression for which I was prescribed Sertraline, Amisulpride, Venlafaxine, and Clonazepam. Now all other drugs are stopped except Sertraline and Clonazepam. I am tapering clonazepam.
Avatar n tn You may wish to ask your doctor about these tests, to eliminate your concerns about ALS and other neurological disorders. I was taking 200 mg per day of sertraline -- the maximum dose. I cut that back to 100 mg per day. I also began to take Flexeril (which I already had on hand for muscle tightness in my upper back from computer use. I took two 10mg doses, one in the afternoon and one at bedtime.

Avatar m tn php In my case, I found an equivalent effect was achievable by upping the dosage from 75mg/day of brand-name to 100mg/day of generic (Greenstone or Teva). Other people, however, never find an equivalent effect, or have a bad reaction to the fillers used in one or the other generic. Good luck! It's not "all in your head"!
Avatar f tn Hey im five months an dealing with depression the doctors say it can get worse once i have the baby. i was prescribed Sertraline but i dont know how it will affect the baby....
Avatar f tn Yup..........headaches are high on the list of side effects. When I began taking sertraline, I had headaches almost every day. They weren't horrible, I was still able to function, but they were just there, every day. And then one day they weren't. Even though headaches are also very common with Zoloft, I suggest letting your doctor know. A phone call to his nurse or PA will put your mind at rest..............when it's not aching!
