i am currently taking 80mg beta blockers, 30mg remeron and 100mg seroquel. they are all very sedating (although i hav problems sleeping also). i am in my final year of college and need to be alert but i find it impossible to get up in the mornings and concentrate on studying.
i cut out the seroquel for 2 days and i was overcome with anxiety. my stomach was filled with butterflies and it was churning. i couldnt study which made me panic.. so clearly i need the seroquel.
BUT, im mad because i know the dr will tell my dad. And, i cant have that. I dont want my family knowing. Do i have any course of a lawsuit? What do i do? I want to talk to my fam dr but im embarrassed becasue i feel like he wont understand and he will look at me as a dope addict. I never dr shopped, ever. Never.
Settlements could take a long time to get because insurance companies like to drag their feet. I know a few people that didnt get their money until a year after their accident. As far as the amount, depends if she was hurt, hospital bill costs, attorney costs etc..... I wouldnt wait for the money to get the things you need.
He is starting to taper off on Monday. This doctor prescribed Topamax 100mg, Seroquel 100mg, and Depakote 500mg. My question is... After being on these for 4 days he is a zombie! He is really sleepy and his speech is so slurred that I have a hard time understanding him. He is also really unsteady on his feet. He has fallen twice tonight just going to the bathroom. And it not even 3 feet away from the bed.
If there is a lawyer in the area whose done a lawsuit like this, they can steer you in the direction of a knowledgeable doctor with the tramadol and side effects. Seroquel has now worked for 3 nights of sleep. I take clonazapam and lamtrogine. What could I add as decrease 1 of these? Is tegretol a good choice? Long ago I took lithium, but ballooned up in weight. Suggestions to discuss w/my doctor?
Does it really work? Because I have been given 10mg Diazepam and it hasn't helped that much with W/D's or stop the attacks. I have posted about this before and someone suggested that if I can't get Clonidine I should try to get Seroquel. I can't get into much detail on here, but I really need anyone who has taken Seroquel to PLEASE, post about how it made them feel, if it helped with W/D's? Did it let you fall asleep?
I take 200 mg of seroquel to help me sleep if i cut it in half will it still help me fall asleep!! I only have 12 days left of seroquel and i can't see the doctor until the 8th of next month so i'm freaking out about not being able to sleep!! Please help!!
I just started Seroquel. The first tab last night. I felt so trippy. It scared me and I made myself go to sleep just to avoid the experience I was having. I also heard it causes crazy weight gain. Is that true? Right now I feel nausea.

If Seroquel is being prescribed as a sleep aid yes, within a psychiatrist's discretion. If its being used as a mood stabilizer then it would have to be taken every day though the timing could vary. If someone can't tolerate it at all as regards any sedation then other available options could be discussed with a psychiatrist.
