Hi im 20 years old engaged to be married and a new nurse i am young but am very concerned about my fertility I cant wait to have a family but I have been taking birth control pill for about 3 years now have been diagnosed with HPV and recently have been handling a medication which i didnt know shouldn't be handle by women because of problem with birth defects and infertility so any encouraging advice would be great i havent heard any real evidence on birth control pills causing specific prob
observation if another biopsy done in 04/09 shows increase in positive cores to 3 or more or if any one core shows 50%+ positive for cancer? Also, is there any current opinion regarding use of Avodart or Proscar while in Watchful Waiting mode? I understand there would be a likely reduction in PSA, but that new PSA baseline be established and return to monitoring of PSA velocity. Not sure what, if any, benefit this would provide.
With the penile injections my wife and I were able to engage in sexual intercourse. This all stopped in 2008 when I ended up with the catheter.
As much as I would enjoy a fairly normal sex life again, I can assure you that I would much rather do without sex and have any chance of normal urination again. Most likely neither one is possible for me. If the drugs help with urination, I would remain on them and gladly take the side effects of sexual dysfunction.
A problem is, testosterone varies a whole lot in both men and women, by the day, hour, week, etc. and even more in women than men, so the only true way to know if you had abnormally low levels would have been to test you a lot, not just twice. You did have the same levels twice, so it might be a problem. A question would be, how's your sexual desire? How's your stamina? How's your ability to build muscle? How's your energy levels?

DHT levels should return to normal very quickly, I'm sure they would have by now. You probably need to feel better about things, and if taking vitamin B complex helps will put you in a better frame of mind, go ahead. Many guys take L-arginine, there's some evidence that it works a bit like Viagra. It's very cheap at a health food store in the powder form.
Unrination is really no problem anymore, but I have a problem with getting erections and now when I ejaculate I have no semon in me. Also have a runny nose mostly in the a.m.
What is your advice and opinion for this problem.

1-When I was 40 , I went to the doctor as I was having small drop of urine in the end of urination, doctor told me not to worry and no examination was done.
2-five years ago ........ I had the problem getting more while passing urine (when i pea few drops of urine come out in the end ) I went to the doctor and he did a PSA test it was (0.78), and he did a Uroflowmetry and it was normal and he told me not to worry about it and no medication is required.

I DID suffer PNEUMONIA lays summer which was really bad but I recovered so they csay. I do NOT use Steroids. I do nOT use illegal drugs. I dont have cancetr or blood markers that would incdicate cancer. I DO have 6 heart stents but last scans shw mo new heart issues...they relwased me without admissio nand didnt find a cause..I am wonderin if the ER cath SCARRED up my bladder neck so nbadly I cant feel anything and less semen comes out? I HAD a micitration study-it shows NARROW bladder neck..
The spot was small at first and seemed to have a prismatic effect, although clear it blocked vision in the area. Eventually, the spot started expanding, and disappeared in about 20-30 minutes.

Examination of prostate (physical) revelaed no alarm. Blood tests in general are normal. I have hypogonadism and use AXIRON..but the loss of sensation extends to SEXCUAL as well (almost no feeling there and DIFFICULT to ejaculate.if i do almost nothing comes out. What is going on? He ended up with an infection and after taking proscar and flowmax for 5 months (and using the single use catheter) he went in for an opening of the urethra. He since has had recurrent bladder infections, terrible gas and bloating. He is still on nitrofurantion (2 pills a day for 5 days) one pill a day for 30. He has no relief. He is up every night with terrible pains. He is getting depressed and has lost 20 pounds. I don't know what else to do.

Sometimes women need to have the size of the pessary adjusted after long term use (typically to a smaller pessary) but that is after a few years of use. Biggest concern is irritation causing ulcers but this does not occur in all women. If you are on estrogen replacement therapy, it will help the internal and external tissues maintain strong, pliable integrity. If you have difficulty with vaginal irritation you should ask your physician about vaginal estrogen therapy.
