Most likely neither one is possible for me. If the drugs help with urination, I would remain on them and gladly take the side effects of sexual dysfunction.
Currently I will have to decide whether I will remain with the suprapubic catheter or will have a surgery to alter the flow of urine. This would mean closing the urethra to the penis and having a dry stoma created on the abdominal wall that I can self cath again.
I have sought out a urologist who said he detected a high count of white blood cells. I was prescribed procrit or proscar for an extended period of time. I did not complete the required dose because it wasn't helping. I now i have infected my sex partner on a couple of different occassions. she gets treated and cured but i can not. The most common side effects are hot flashes and vaginal discharge. Yes-- and you are asking for trouble! Doses of tramadol in excess of 400 mg per day place the person at significant risk of grand mal seizures, which are incredibly inconvenient if they occur suddenly during a drive down the highway!
Tramadol is not a benign medication, and neither is the acetominophen in 'tramacet'. You are playing with fire.
I wanted to know from women in their fifties and sixties if there have been any long term effects from having one removed. Like for instance early osteoporosis or early menopause. Things that the doctors might not of thought of on their own. I would also like to hear from women that haven't had any issues. Thank you so much and God Bless!
If you go to chemocare.com you can read all the side effects of Tamoxifen. What you mention are all listed there. The weight gain no doubt is due to fluid retention which is one of the side effects. You might discuss changing drugs with your Oncologist as there are others available but keep in mind that they all have similar side effecfts even though you mjight not experience them to the same degree. Shortly after I started the drug, I started having hot flashes and bad leg cramps. My doctor then prescribed Effexor for those side effects. I started at 37.5 mg and worked up to 75mg which I took for 5 years. A month ago he changed my prescription to 37.5 mg and said to stop once the medicine ran out. I took my last pill 3 days ago. I feel horrible. I have nausea, dizziness, a swoshing feeling when I turn my head from side to side and just feel bad overall. I have been cranky and moody.
I took clomid CD5-9 for the first time this month too, and I'm CD12 today. No side effects whatsoever...so far, at least! But I have heard some of the other women on here say they've experienced cramping and hot flashes. I think those are the two most common side effects. Good luck to you!!!
bacterial infections! So I started researching side effects to Adderall and after much digging around I finally came across a post in a woman's forum regarding a common STD which is a bacterial infection and the women were discussing Adderall. Sure enough, there were tons of ladies complaining that they have had an increase in all that is bacterial infections since taking the medicine. It seems to be linked, Bacterial Infections and Adderall.
observation if another biopsy done in 04/09 shows increase in positive cores to 3 or more or if any one core shows 50%+ positive for cancer? Also, is there any current opinion regarding use of Avodart or Proscar while in Watchful Waiting mode? I understand there would be a likely reduction in PSA, but that new PSA baseline be established and return to monitoring of PSA velocity. Not sure what, if any, benefit this would provide.
