I just saw your post. I take 50 mcg's of synthroid every other day and I feel like a million bucks after doing so. I did it on my own because I felt and looked like **** when taking it everyday. I skip the medicine entirely every other day. It's a mistake to take two different doses every other day. Just stick with one dose every other day and give your body a total rest from the medicine every other day. I don't know why it works but it works.

Propose that your partner try Avodart. I think it really helps with prostate enlargement. That is what the television commercials say anyhow. Unfortunately it also can cause a large reduction in semen production. AND women wanting to become pregnant should NEVER touch the pill as it can cause birth defects if they are exposed at all to it. Anyone know whether it is okay to take levothyroxine every other day? I am prescribed 75 mg for hypothyroidism, but due to insurance I decided to take levothyroxine every other day and 6 months later my blood test showed that my thyroid levels were...normal. How can this be?? In fact, I really have not felt any side effects from this decreased dosage.

I have variable pain day to day. Almost like clock work it is low one day, moderate or high the next, low, moderate until after I haven't injured myself for a while then it startst to level off. I did notice that when I took either Tylenol or Celebrex on the bad day it started to break the cycle. Any suggestions or has anyone seen this?

However, I have had white discharge in an off and on condition, 2-3 months between episodes, for a day or two only. But, I have ONLY had unprotected ORAL sex, from which Chlamydia doesn't transmit. observation if another biopsy done in 04/09 shows increase in positive cores to 3 or more or if any one core shows 50%+ positive for cancer? Also, is there any current opinion regarding use of Avodart or Proscar while in Watchful Waiting mode? I understand there would be a likely reduction in PSA, but that new PSA baseline be established and return to monitoring of PSA velocity. Not sure what, if any, benefit this would provide.

He is still on nitrofurantion (2 pills a day for 5 days) one pill a day for 30. He has no relief. He is up every night with terrible pains. He is getting depressed and has lost 20 pounds. I don't know what else to do.

I have been having periods every other month, which the doc would like it to come every month for only 7 days. But I would say to call the doc on monday, and see if they can see you. It is not normal to have periods for longer then 7 days. But everyone is different! Call monday morning, and share ur concerns! SSBD to you!

I've been doing a lot more every day and it does help if it wasn't for my feet I'd have this thing beat !!!!!!!! And my feet will get well. Its necessary because I have been suffering ed since the day I turned 18. I use to do drugs and they caused me the last year of pain now. I believe the symptoms of saw palmetto will fade, im just going to give it three months time. But man trust me, do not under any circumstance take saw palmetto.

in 2012 I had 12 days. staring in 2013 Feb, I have been having it every single day. During my 3 years ordeal I went to ER 3 times, echo twice, stress test twice, holter monitor 4 times. all clear. nothing. my card gave me propanolol 10mg - take it as needed, it doesn't help. I take magnesium supplement, I take potassium supplement, I eat banana, I eat spinach, drink juice, V8, beta blocker nothing nada zip...... BIG NOTHING still PVCs everyday.

For about 2 months now, I'm feeling lightheaded every day. I've gone to see my PCP, ENT doctor, chiropractor, eye doctor, and neurologist - no one has found anything. I've also had multiple blood tests, physical exams, and MRI - all came back fine. I have been tested for everything and all blood test are normal. I had the Ingenix test for Lymes and I only showed presence of Band 41. I did have a brain MRI recently with a 3T MRI that should numerous subcortical lesions. The MS specialist I am seeing says this is not consistent with MS. Spinal Tap was clean. My current problem is intermittent bilateral burning leg pain. This seems to come on every other day, so it's not there all the time.
