I take propranolol the dosage is up to your doctor it doesn't really make you tired although everyone is different but it doesn't me it's suppose to be for stress and anxiety but I don't think it helps very well you might consider ativan there isn't a medication that has propranolol in it there is a script of propranolol by itself it's not mixed with any medication

I discussed my occasional ED with my psych doc and we both feel it's anxiety related. He recommended propranolol 10mg just before sex. It's a beta-blocker mostly used to lower blood pressure but sometimes used for performance anxiety situations like stage fright, exam taking, job interviews etc. He's used it with other patients experiencing ED.

First off I wanna ask did your doctor specifically prescribe the propranolol to be taken on an as needed basis or are you taking it daily? Typically this class of medication is to be taken daily due to its effects and the potential for complications from taking it irregularly.
I was diagnosed with palpitation and anxiety problems three years ago and was prescribed to take medicine, which constituted mainly Hipress 50 or Telonol 50 or Dizeral, according to availability. I started taking such medication since then, and recently I have got to know that the main compound, propranolol, present in these medicine pills, is also used to treat PTSD which is a cure for the said, by erasing memory of the patient.
Won’t the sudden stop of using amlodipine and propranolol bring problems; I thought they would just reduce the medication cause this is what I ultimately want, reduction of these meds until I stop using completely?
I know that I shouldn't be using cocaine because it can lead to death. I have been trying to stop but I have had trouble. I'm currently taking 40mg of propranolol twice a day. I originally was taking it for anxiety, but now i feel as though it is good for my drug problem and saves me from having a heart attack. Is this true? Because I feel as though the propranolol slows down my heart rate and makes my pulse lower than it would be if i just did coke.
