prometrium every day

I am taking estrogel 0.06% 1 pump daily and prometrium 200 mg. every second day, since my pharmacy only supplies the prometrium in 200 mg gel capsules which I cannot cut in half. I have remained symptom free. My question is: Is it okay to take the prometrium only every second day with regards to the risk of uterine cancer?

I get a progesterone shot once a week and take prometrium every day twice a day. It's so worth it! Hang in there.

I have been on prometrium every pregnancy (this one included) except my first one. I miscarried 4 times while taking it, and had the bleeding as expected. It won't stop symptoms, I know that from personal experience. Good luck to you!!

I took 400mg of prometrium a day and shots every other day for the first 12 weeks of my pregnancy.

I took prometrium 100mg a day for the first trimester, i stopped taking it last friday so 10 days ago. I have had a migraine every day starting at around noon and lasting until I go to bed. I took prometrium prior to pregnancy for period induction which i took for 10 days and i would get a "withdrawl" migraine for a day or two. Have any of you ladies experienced this?

My estrogen was in twice-weekly shots, and when I asked my doctor why they prescribed that I take them Wednesday evening and Sunday evening (clearly not exactly the halfway point in a given week, it was an every third day, every fourth day schedule) I was told there was still residual estrogen from the last shot even by the fourth day. Not so with prometrium, it fades quickly out of your system, they were definite that I had to be pretty much to the hour and minute on those. You're good.

I was put on prometrium 400mg a day and 50mg shots every other day until week 10 when the placenta took over production of it. However at my 10 wk apt I found out that I had lost the baby. It was the prometrium that kept my body thinking I was pregnant still.

Ladies were any of you were/are on Prometrium. I was on it since week 6 till week 15. I am so concerned about it leaving any effects on fetus. Does anyone know anything about it?

Since my IUI i have been on Prometrium twice a day. My question is... will i get a period if not pregnant while taking Prometrium?

Our game plan this time around is to start prometrium on day 12 of my cycle, take baby asprin every day, extra folic acid and prenatals. Is there anything else that I should be doing before trying again? Thanks so much!

After 12 week I had to stop them gradually for like 2 weeks first take them every other day, then every third day and the final 2 I took every 3 days. I just finished them all last week. I'm 16w5d.

im thinking pcos although dont have any of the symptoms no excess hair growth, im not overweight, dont get breakthrough bleeding. i am a nurse so do realkly horrible shifts and of course stressed every day!!! got docs soon, its day 55 today going to do another test, dont feel no different tho.

her instructions for the prometrium is to take on cycle day 16 and continue to take until a cycle comes. I stopped taking the prometrium th week before I called her. On th 23, I was told that I didn't ovulated at all. Could you explain your intake on the prometrium process to me so I could have a better understanding how it works. Thank you.

m supposed to start taking it day 20 of my cycle and continue if I become pregnant for 9-12 weeks. If I do not become pregnant I would stop the prometrium until day 20 of the next cycle. It can act as a contraceptive if you take it every day. He did an ultrasound and found that I have a low egg count. I only have one ovary and tube so he said that could cause a little problem since my body doesn't produce the same amount of eggs as someone with 2 ovaries.

i take estrogen I took the estrogen capsules two other pregnancies this time suppositories My doc had me ohn estrace 2mg 4x a day - I knew that was too much (from previous pregs ) so I went down to 3x a day - then I read on the internet that estrogen is cause of nausea - so (without asking doc) I went down to 1 mg in am, 1 mg in midday, and 2 mg at night - hopefully this is OK - Babies seem ok!

I am a 28 to 30 day cycle. mostly 28... i dont know why but i ovulated on cycle day 12..good i know.. but how many of you have ovulated on cylce day 12 ???

Yes, Prometrium does delay your AF. First time when i was on prometrium, i didn't get my AF until CD40.

Hi, today I have been really crampy. I am taking progesterone suppositories 1x per day. Originally my RE wanted me to take 2 per day, but decided I only needed one. Are cramps normal? They started after one suppository.

I got mine the next day, as soon as I stopped prometrium I started spotting and the next day I got my AF.

My dr didn't want me to come off the prometrium til around 11-12 weeks and then he had me wean off of it.....

I took Prometrium 100mg twice a day after 3DPIUI for 15 days. I will be off Prometrium on 5/25 if AF is coming.. After that I do not know if I still need to take the med or not.

I've been taking prometrium vaginally twice daily for 13 days now (started the day after my IUI) and on day 10, I started noticing a headache, a dull gnawing sensation on both sides of my head. It is day 14 of prometrium now (CD32) and I am still feeling this. If I bend over to pick up something it hurts even more.
