I also feel dull and sharp constant pains in my left side which feel an awful lot like an ovarian cyst. I was put on birth control when I was 18 to help regulate my periods and to decrease the ovarian cysts (I'm now 30 and have been off the pill since Feb). I am frustrated because I seem to have all of the horrible side effects from clomid but no LH surge. Can OPK kits be wrong? People say your cycles are longer and that you ovulate later on clomid.
Does anyone get radiating pain from ovarian cyst. I had pain wher my ovary was and it also radiated up higher. I thought something was wrong with me but had a ct scan and all they found was a 4.5cm x 4.5cm cyst on ovary. The doctor says pain radiates. Who else gets pain in other areas around the ovaries. I keep freaking out.
A number of 80 seems very high for your age...I wonder if there could be another reason for the high number. I'm not really familiar with what is normal when going through premature ovarian failure; but in general, normal levels are between 3 and 20, with 20 being very hard to stimulate. If I were you, I would ask your doctor for a referral to an RE (reproductive endocrinologist...or fertility specialist).
I wasn’t really given much light on what a ruptured ovarian cysts meant. But bloods were done and cancer/tumor markers have since been ruled out.

I was in prometrium 200mg once a day with my 3rd pregnancy..and still i m/c at 17&1/2 weeks.. and i stopped taking the prometrium at my 15&1/2weeks( i should only take them for 12 weeks, but my dr told me to continued the left pills..) still don't know the reason why,, if it's bec. i stopped taking the progesterone supplement or there is some thing else..
I know someone who had a benign ovarian cyst (as proven by biopsy) and her CA125 result was over 1000. I had the same type of cyst and mine was in normal range (under 35).
Since most ovarian cysts resolve on their own, is the plan to just monitor this 2.8cm cyst?

Given your family history of ovarian cancer, it is important that the ovarian cyst has been sent for biopsy. Ovarian cysts are considered for removal if they cause pain or have tendency to become malignant or there is elevated CA125. Do not take undue stress as biopsy of the ovarian cyst is in your welfare only. It may be just a precautionary measure by the surgeon because your mother had history of ovarian cancer.

My question is with the information provided was there ovaries left or just remants? In 2005 my doctor then should have removed them all. I am very conflicted with the results and that I had to have a very serious procedure. What is your opinion.
How closely linked are ovarian and breast cancer? When I had initially gone in and got an ultrasound for my ovary (in Aug. I think) I also complained about pain in my right breast so they ultrasounded that too and they told me there was a tiny cyst (about 2 cm). It is still quite painful quite often. When I went in to get the ovary removed I asked my gyn. about the cyst in my breast and if it could be related and she kind of blew it off saying that it was a totally separate issue.

Hi, I was diagnosed with ovarian cyst about a week ago. I started feeling a pressure felling in my pelvic area about two weeks ago so I went to the dr. on the 2nd of feb. This dr. said i had pelvic inflammatory and another bacteria (they had no clue) because after them giving me a shot and antibiotic, the pressure was getting worse. So i called back and they said to come back in they might have misdiagnosed me. I didn't go back.

The only way to diagnose ovarian cancer is looking at the cells under a microscope. There are tumour markers the doctors can test for called CA-125 and CA19-9 (both are blood tests) however numbers can be higher due to inflammation.
When confirming the appointment with the nurse I did confirm that my cyst is 19cm x 16cm- huge for an ovarian cyst. I also confirmed what I thought I saw on the ultrasound, it had at least one septation (sp). So, hopefully i will learn more tomorrow to either confirm a scary diagnosis, or to find out what more tests I need. I will keep you updated.
After multiple tests (ultrasound, ct scan and MRI) I was told I have complex ovarian cysts 5×4 cm on both ovaries and pancreatic cyst that is over 1cm . I have 2 questions. 1. I have a 7cm ovarian cyst and didn't even know it. It was an accidental finding on a CT scan for something else. The only "symptom" I have is frequent urination because it's pressing on my bladder. So i guess everyone's bodies are different!
im trying for a baby and have been sexually active for the whole month.now im a 7 days late for my period and have symptoms like dizziness,nausea and sore and heavy breast.i too have small little bumps on my breast which come n go of their own.now is it due to pregnancy or a small ovarian cyst on my right ovary which is 25 mm.my huby wants me to wait for another week but im dying to know .has any1 faced a similar problem .plz answer me friends it cud be of great help.
