prometrium and hair growth

im thinking pcos although dont have any of the symptoms no excess hair growth, im not overweight, dont get breakthrough bleeding. i am a nurse so do realkly horrible shifts and of course stressed every day!!! got docs soon, its day 55 today going to do another test, dont feel no different tho.

Maybe stress they said and another thing I noticed after the dr. mention was when I use Pantene shampoo my hair comes out a lot. I'm not sure why? I hope you get it figured out soon b/c I know how scary it is.

Vivelle-dot estrogen patch after surgery, and I felt fine. Two weeks later, he added a 100 mg. daily dose of prometrium to my HRT therapy to avoid recurrence of endometriosis growth. My problem is that I am having unpleasant side effects from the prometrium, including exhaustion, minor headache, and lightheadedness. I don't like how it makes me feel. What other alternatives would you suggest to the 100 mg. prometrium?

I did get laser hair removal for the excessive hair growth thinking this would solve my problems. My periods were very normal on the pill. My husband and I recently decided we wanted to start trying for a family. So, I went off the birth control pill. It seems that my problems from before are starting again. I had pretty bad abdominal pain for two days this week and I'm starting to see hair come back in areas. I have a new doctor now. Should I voice my concerns to him?

My doctor checked my appendix and did blood tests and everything...but could this have been due to the Prometrium and my period coming back with a vengence?!! I'd love to know if anyone has had a similar situation. Thank you.

I have 2 healthy kids and one miscarriage about 2 yrs ago. I'm pregnant again, I'm 8w3d. Last week due to an ultrasound dating about a week behind (I'm certain of my ovulation date) my Dr ordered a progesterone test. My levels were at 16.5 and so the nurse who I spoke with got me a prescription for preometrium (200mgx2 at bedtime).

I take my vitamins everyday and my hair doesn't grow its dry and awhful actually. And I don't even colour my hair. It's been over a year since I've coloured it. I too am bummed about this because I was looking forward to my hair finally growing. I chopped it all off a while ago.

I lost a probably about 45% but luckily it thinned all over. the only part I had to hide was a receding hair line in the front (Like my dad has) So I didn't put my hair up and just combed long hair over for a while. I have been done with treatment for a couple months now..and my hair, (while still thinned out) is a completely different texture then it was on treatment. I noticed within a few weeks after tx the shine was back and it did not look so dead anymore.

Yes! I just chopped off my long hair, and it's already starting to grow a lot. Plus, I find myself needing to shave my legs/underarms more... Often I'm too lazy to do it, though.

I was very anxious for my hair to grow as well but even with eating healthier and taking my prenatal pills daily my hair has not grown at all. I feel my hair actually got so dry :/ but everyone can be different.

Okay, so this is really embarassing but, I am sooo curious. Since Sept 2010, I've miscarried 4 times. Been getting some tests done and so far everything is normal But, for the last while (more so now which is why I'm asking) I've noticed hair growing on my stomach and a few on my breasts? I am wondering why I am loosing so much hair after my complete (my ovaries are out too)hysterectomy? I was on 1 mg of Estrace which was very helpful the first month or two.I felt so incredibly good. My hot flashes were gone completely, and my moods swings were stable.Then after about one and a half months my hot flashes and mood swings came back with a vengeance.Because I couldn't get in to see the Dr. for another 2 months I started taking 1 and 1/2 mg of Estrace for another month.

Ok so im Africian American & Cambodian (50% mixed) & I'm 15weeks I tried to grow my hair for 6months but for the last 7weeks my hair grow 6inches .. & my legs and arm hairs been growing crazy . Has Anyone Else Hair Grew ??
