I have had excrutiating pain and found out I have 3 cysts. One is behind ovary resting on bladder and rectum. I have been extremely bloated and crampy. My progesterone level yesterday was 62. Dr said it was very high and is hopeful I am pregnant. I did a HPT yesterday and was a faint positive. Could be from trigger. I have noe fertility problems but my husband has low count and motility. Had anyone expereienced severe bloating this early?
I had 2 miscarriages in the past and with this one i went on prometrium and baby aspirin although nothing was ever diagnosed either. i did not experience any bleeding as a side effect of the prometrium though. have you had a scan yet?
I had an IUI a few weeks ago and then started taking prometrium for ten days. I finished up last Wednesday so it has been 5 days. How long until I should expect my period after my last prometrium?
I have never engaged in any sexual activities and do not understand how I got this disease. I took Prometrium in the past to regulate my menstruate cycle. I did some research on this drug and one of side effects for this drug is Herpes. Is it possible this medicine could cause a false positive or a positive blood results for Herpes Type 2?
Hello wow i know how u feel i have servial times wondered why i would be late and taken at home prenancy test that have said negitive. I found out that i had cysts on my ovarys, i never really had pain from them but they were big enough to interfe with my periods. Also if the climate you are in changes that can effect you cycle, maybe a new job? or new women that you are been around (although it sounds that you are very dominate with being so reglar) can effict you as well.
I went through an ovulation induction cycle and was put on prometrium (progesterone) to support a healthy lining. I am now 20 days past ovulation, no period, and three negative home pregnancy tests (it is now day 33 of my cycle and I am typically a 28 day cycle, like clockwork). I talked to the doctor today who told me to stop the prometrium and I should expect my period in 2-3 days.
Has any one taken Prometrium for abnormal bleeding? and if so did this medicine really works??.Thanks for any advice, it's very much appreciated.
I have had a migraine every day starting at around noon and lasting until I go to bed. I took prometrium prior to pregnancy for period induction which i took for 10 days and i would get a "withdrawl" migraine for a day or two. Have any of you ladies experienced this? I'm really getting sick of taking tylenol every 4 hours but my head throbs so bad i can't see straight if i don't. I called my doc today and of course he's out of the office.
I stopped the Prometrium for 10 days and MY BLEEDING STOPPED ENTIRELY so it has to be the Prometrium. I know I need progesterone as still have my uterus but am I the only one that is seeing this happen? I was told by Sott Pelle providers that a women minimally needs progesterone 14 days every third month. Can someone tell me their experience with this?
They only took my progesterone levels once after I started the Prometrium to make sure it was theraputic and it was in the 20's don't remember exactly. But they haven't taken it again. But I've had 4 ultrasounds where we have seen baby's heartbeat and everything is well.
I too had ovarian cysts at 17 and was on the pill until I was 24, and got pregnant pretty quickly after we started trying. This time I've been off the pill since Feb, and it's been frustrating. I've done prometrium and am on my second round of clomid, now awaiting an LH surge, and nothing yet. I know your frustrations and can only wish you luck!
t ~ BUT ~ never felt like my ovaries were about to fall out ~ some major cramping going on ~ weird ~ had U/S all along and no cysts or anything ~ just yesterday it started and then again today ~ yesterday was more like major gas passing through (pain wise but nothing else..) ~ then today it was really bad ~ I remember back 11++yrs when I had my daughter I had really bad cramping then too ~was in bed for days ~ HOPING this is really going to take...!!!...
Hello...I'm 30 years old, I was on birth control pills for 12 years, stopped taking them one year ago b/c we are ttc...only got one period on my own since, and dr. thinks I have PCOS...I have tried 2 cycles of clomid, 50mg...with no luck.. now must try 100mg clomid to ttc...in May I had an ultrasound and dr. said I had cysts on my ovaries.. and it looked like "there wasn't much going on, in terms of ovulation". My question is how do you formally diagnose pcos?
Four mm cysts would suggest you did not respond to the clomid or that the ultrasound was taken early in your cycle (1-5 days after the start of bleeding) whereas 4 cm cysts are larger and could be due to clomid, requiring that you rest a cycle. Regarding whether or not the bleeding was a true period, this depends on whether you ovulated or not. Any progesterone value greater than 3, and certainly greater than 5, suggests that you ovulated.

So after 3 miscarriages I am pregnant (age 38) again with great hcg. And went for my 1st ultrasound at 6 weeks yesterday and they found the fetal pole and the hb was 116 bpm. So Im very happy... I would like to continue to have sex with my partner but do you think its safe? Could it cause a miscarriage? Also I\m on prometrium until 13 weeks so I;d hate to miscarry after sex and not know it..

The levels were 23oo last week thrusday and abput 4300 this monday. Progesterone dropped form 8.2 to 6.8. I am on 200 mg of prometrium and praying.
I was prescribed prometrium since the month of Feb. In Feb.,I ovulated with the help of clomid and prometrium. My progesterone levels were 34. In March my cycle never came and I contacted my Dr on Apr. 9 letting her know I never had my cycle. She schedule me to take some test to take . On 14 my cycle visited and was very weird . her instructions for the prometrium is to take on cycle day 16 and continue to take until a cycle comes. I stopped taking the prometrium th week before I called her.
t have any symtoms yet except feeling tired and irritablity. Do you take Prometrium? could be from that. Clomid since you took it for awhile, it's will not stay in your system by now. I am on Prometrium for 15 days after IUI.
Let's hope for BFP. the mind does plays trick on us and makes us think we are pregnant. Just relax and wait until your AF due..... I will take my HPT on 5/26.
