going okay except for shoulder and hip joints aches. Is this pain something I can attribute to the paxil withdrawal?
I take 3-5mg percocet daily for chronic pain and 12.5mg paxil. The pain in my back is getting worse because I am a student and have to sit in poor chairs in college. I am having real difficulty sleeping and cannot sleep for my than 2 hours without experiencing back pain. What can you suggest? Thanks for taking the time to help me.
*( I have been taking them for about 2 weeks. The only side effect I have noticed is stomach pain. If I do not eat a full meal when I take them, it letterally feels like someone is cutting my stomach open with a knife. I am afraid I am going to develope and ulcer. If my joint pain continues to persist I am going to ask my doctor for somthing else. Right now I take 4 tylenol arthritis in addition to the Meloxicam, and still have pain.
I am a 20 year old, 5'2", 115lb. female and for the past year or so I've been on Paxil, but my entire experience with Paxil is that it makes me nauseous and shake no matter how long I take it for. My body can't seem to get over the side-effects, so for a while I was only taking the Paxil every three to four days (they were extended-release pills) and I seemed to be alright. But for the past few weeks I decided to try to get off Paxil completely.
I started having anxiety attacks in 2005 and my doctor put me on paxil. well paxil was the drug from hell not only did i gain 40 pounds, i lost my sex drive, lost interest in my friends and family and basically couldnt feel any emotions. In 2007 i told the doctor that this drug wasnt working for me so he put me on prozac. The withdrawls symptoms from the paxil were horrible and it took forever for the prozac to kick it.
s odd that I have no headache but I have the most horrible back pain. I never had this before starting Paxil. Last time coming off Paxil I nearly had a heart attack, I was admitted to the ER and given Benzos along with meds to reduce blood pressure and heart rate. I was only there 3 days but when I got home the withdrawal continued. I had no choice but to go back on and tapering did not help. I had months withdrawal even taking Zoloft. My opioid withdrawal lasted 3 days and was not as severe.
SNRI and after 2 days of taking it my body was crippled with joint pain, weakness and a rash... so stopped. Now the effects are wearing off all my anxiety and panic is coming back and worse.....
Paxil DID help me while i was on it but i am regretting the day i ever took it.... if i'd known the torture i would experience now i think i would have spared myself the 12 years of normality.....
My eyes burn, I have extreme fatigue, depression controlled by paxil, fungus on toenails, daily headaches, painful intercourse, and some muscle and joint pain. Blood tests are mostly normal, except for a slight elevation in PH and BUN. Pap is normal. Ive seen rheumatologist, gynecologist and endocrinologist with no diagnisis. I'm wondering about candida.
So this all started last night. I was up late because I wasn't tired so I was just relaxing on my computer when all of a sudden I felt like a lump was forming in my throat making it feel like my throat was closing up. Starting to get dizzy, I decided to head up to bed, but the sensation wouldn't go away. I knew if I took a benadryl just to be sure, I could put my mind at ease also and go to sleep. This morning I woke up with the lump gone, but the severe dizziness still present.
I started having joint pain a couple of weeks after gall bladder surgery. It is continually getting worse and in my shoulders, wrists and right jaw. My left hip joint has gotten better. The pain hurts really bad at night when I am laying and try to move my arms. I am also having trouble chewing with my jaw in pain. I am 63 years old and a Real Estate Agent. I never had a pain at all until after the surgery. I have always been in good health and don't drink or smoke.

I got diagnosed with hsv2 last fall. After continual outbreaks my doc finally put me on suppression therapy. I've had weight gain depression and now joint pain. It's a 6 month dose and one month to go. Does the joint pain go away after dosage is done? Does the weight come off? I exercise regularly and eat properly. Depression I know is a mental battle. My concern is as follows: the only exposure I have is unprotected oral performed on other men. Since the beginning of the year i have been experiencing pain on my both knees that come and go and well, I'd like to know how does ars joint pain feel like. The doctor diagnosed some patellar disfunction but I doubt it, since I only started running last year and I read professional runners are those who get it. Or something.
I have joint pain in my knees and elbows, weakness in knees after kneeling down and trying to stand up. I have numbness that comes and goes in my feet. My chemo/raidiation treatments ended a year ago. Are these aches and pains caused by the after effects of the drugs and radiation? I also have trouble taking antibiotics or pain meds. I seems to get every side effect listed. Alcohol of any type bothers me also. I use to enjoy a glass of wine but no longer.
I've been having pain in my fingers, knees, hips and ankles for about a year, maybe a bit longer. I'm 28 years old and live a pretty active life. I've looked up joint pain on the internet and all I find is arthritis, but I really don't think that's what I have. Any help?
Maybe you could ask to be put on .175 instead. Seems kind of drastic to go from .2 to .15 when there's a dose in between those two. I'd ask why there was such a drastic dose reduction and tell the doctor about your new symptoms.
Do you know what your TSH was and the range?
I had horrible joint pain prior to tx. in all the same places you did,but once starting tx all pain went away. I experienced a horrible resurgence of pain 1 mth post tx.and i just figured i had relapsed, but that was not the case. I txd 96 wks i i feel it had something to do with stopping tx suddenly after being on pegasys for so long without a break. The pain went away 3rd mth post tx. and has never returned. 17mth svr now.
Recently he started having a lot of joint pain. Now his ankles and feet are swelling. His sugar levels are doing great. We have been to the doctor and he has had several test done. Everything is coming back good. Has anyone had these same symptoms? He is taking Metformin and I am wondering if this has anything to do with this.
