Hello Indah I am actually 14 years old and I have been dealing with ovarian cysts since I was 10 years old. There is no real cure for ovarian cysts but waiting it out until they naturally burst which can be very very painful. There are some solutions to it, doctors say for females the cysts occur because of our monthly cycle, its never too late to take birth control which is one of the solutions to cysts but it all depends on the person.

Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with endo 6 months back and was operated on immediately. The gyne later commented i had stage 4 endo which was very sever at my age (I'm 26 this year). Subsequently, i was given Decapeptyl for 3 consecutive months, stopped for 3 months and now starting to take Yasmin..I've read about the side effects of Yasmin but there seems to be few people taking Yasmin to help with endometriosis..can anyone advise?

I went to the doctor on 11/6 because I thought I had appedicitus (pain on right lower pelvis, nausea, vomitting) and on a ct they found an ovarian cyst which was 3.7cm. My doctor said it would go away in three days. Obviously the pain continued and I had an ultrasound on 11/18 which showed "No evidence of intrauterine pathology. 5.7 x 4.5cm cyst seen within the right adnexal area" I am in much pain but my doctor suggests taking motrin and doing a follow up ultrasound in 3 months.

I never had regular periods but wasn't diagnosed with PCOS until I was trying to get pregnant. I had bloodwork done and had an elevated LH FSH ratio. Had twins via IVF. Now I'm done reproducing and just wondering whether or not I should try to manage my hormone levels. The husband is getting a vasectomy, so contraception isn't really an issue.
