Avatar f tn When I got pregnant with my 2nd child I had cysts on both my ovaries they went away after about 5 months of being pregnant
Avatar f tn Women of child bearing age do regularly develop small cysts on a regular basis as a result of ovulation. Sometimes these cysts don't resolve themselves right away. Did the doctor say whay kind of cysts they are? Most times when the cysts are the size of yours they will wait a month or two and redo the ultrasound to see if they have resolved. There is some good info on cysts on the health pages attached to this forum (top right). Good luck with everything.
Avatar n tn Hello, If you mean ovarian cysts by water bubble then they are common in child bearing age. Mostly they are symptomless But Ovarian cysts can, however, cause problems if they twist, bleed, or rupture. Most ovarian cysts will go away on their own. One of the most effective treatments for ovarian cysts is use of contraceptive pills or progesterone pills. It can also be treated surgically and this procedure is known as drilling.
Avatar m tn Hello, What you may be having is a simple ovarian cyst. They are common in child bearing age. Mostly they are symptomless But Ovarian cysts can, however, cause problems if they twist, bleed, or rupture. Most ovarian cysts will go away on their own and a simple ovarian cyst less than 6 cm goes away on its own usually by 12 months. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
Avatar f tn To make a long story short I am 28 year old female, 1 child. I been having serious pain in what I thought was my upper stomach(not according to my CT results), when I get stomach pain I get discharge clear/whitish, couldn't eat because it made it worse to the point where I dropped to the floor and couldn't stand up straight I have to walk bent over, relief when laying down, I lost a lot of weight and am severely dehydrated.
Avatar n tn Although it’s not known for sure whether benign ovarian cysts or polycystic ovaries develop into ovarian cancer, the vast majority of ovarian cysts appear to be unrelated. Women who have polycystic ovaries or ovarian cancer seldom have obvious symptoms early on. However, in both disorders, symptoms are noticed as the condition progresses. Because the ovaries are affected on both disorders, the some of the symptoms can be similar.
Avatar f tn I have endomitriosis (ovarian cysts) and I have had one child and am about to be on my second! Make sure you have your timing just right. Endomitriosis ovarian cysts run in my family my mom had three successful pregnancies with it. My sister had surgery to have hers scraped off when she was 15-20 and she has had two children since then.
Avatar f tn Look up ovarian cysts in one of the sites like Mayo Clinic's, that is basically a medical encyclopedia. Birth-control pills shrink some types of ovarian cysts, presumably you have that type or the doctor would not have prescribed them. I am sorry you are impatient, but it will help to get rid of the cysts if you are trying to conceive, even if it means you have to wait a month or two.
Avatar f tn Anechoic cysts tend to be filled with fluid so that is a good sign. Cysts related to ovarian cancer tend to be complex (with solid parts) and grow larger than 5cm. Most cysts (even complex ones) turn out to be benign. It is the general recommendation to watch and wait cysts that are simple and under 5cm. But, since your cyst is already 4.1 cm., I can see why your doctor has mentioned surgery as a possibility. It is possible for your cyst to go away on its own in time.
Avatar f tn Unless you have the BRCA mutation you have a 1.4 % of ovarian cancer in a life time. 98% of all ovarian cysts are benign. Most women have several benign ovarian cysts in a life time. Uterine cancer and ovarian are not related which is weird. It is good they are checking. It may all turn out to be benign endometriosis. In the old days if you were past child bearing years they would do a hysterectomy. Now they know how important ovaries are to a woman's over all health and do not take them.

One of the most effective treatments for ovarian cysts is use of contraceptive pills or progesterone pills. It can also be treated surgically and this procedure is known as drilling. Other modes of treatment are laparoscopic surgery, laparotomy or surgery for complicated ovarian cysts.
Avatar f tn Breastfeeding would not cause ovarian cysts. In other parts of the world where greater numbers of women breastfeed for longer periods of time, there is no increased number of cases of ovarian cysts. Lactational amenorrhea is the norm in many parts of the world, and some women go years without having a period as they are extended breastfeeding on demand. Please do not let this put you off breastfeeding your next child, as it has not caused this to happen.
Avatar f tn I know of many people who have had ovarian cysts and have head children..One friend had a few, they burst spontaneously, and she has a 3 year with another on the way......My best friend had a large ovarian cyst when we were in college and had to have the entire ovary removed, and she can still have children...It just makes your other ovary work double time! Lots of Luck!
1580318 tn?1550254481 I've had a few ovarian cysts, on both ovaries, and I'm 19 weeks prego with our 2nd child, so no, ovarian cysts don't mean infertility. I wish you the best!!
Avatar n tn does having hemorragic cysts in menopause increase your chances of having ovarian cancer? They seem to stay on for about 8 months then burst.
6387286 tn?1389639786 t ovulate and thus cannot become pregnant. Hence it is luck that you have become pregnant. Please carry on with the pregnancy. Ovarian cysts mostly are not treated during pregnancy unless they’re large enough to cause pregnancy complications. Large ovarian cysts measuring 6 centimeters or more are removed surgically preferably during the second trimester and that too through laparoscopic surgery.
Avatar f tn After a few months I was diagnosed having PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) with multiple cysts in both ovaries sizes ranging from 38-40 mm. I started taking Dian-35. I took it for 3 months and went on a diet. On my fourth month my menstrual cycle was on time but I still gained weight. My TVS showed that my cysts persist and they remain the same size, no improvement at all, my doc said it's very likely that I won't be able to lose weight and that I should have a child ASAP.

Avatar n tn Did you have frequent urination as a symptom of ovarian cysts? That seems to be mymost prominent symptom . That and I seem to never be able to fully empty my bladder. Also mild occasional pain in the low belly but this is a minor symtom that Im not concerned about really. Just wondering how often urinary frequency is connected with an ovarian cyst. THANKS!
Avatar n tn We can still get cysts in our ovaries even at 58! What did your doctor say? Do you know that ovarian cancer is actually a seeding type of cancer quite often. This means it is small but a lot of it and that is why it is a problem. Think of it as like sand blowing in the wind. It can cover an area. Different than like one big mass. You can have epithelial ovarian tumors. These are often benign (non cancerous) but doctors normally biopsy to make sure.
