It has gotten better but my doctor gave me some nausea pills (ondansetron odt 4mg tablet) and it has helped a lot.
I was put on 50 mg of zoloft a month ago and have had nausea ever since. It seems like it's been getting worse over the last couple of weeks. Yesterday I was prescribed Ondansetron ODT 4mg. It doesn't seem to help. Will the nausea go away?
I never had hep A, but have considerable experience with nausea and vomiting, While on treatment for hep c these symptoms were almost continuous. Ondansetron 8mg ODT (orally disolving tablets) worked well and gaviscon, that I learned would stop my retching immediately. One morning I was standing at the counter trying to figure out how I was going to get down 20 grams of fat so I could take my pills and began to retch.
Ondanestron is perfectly safe for pregnancy. It works amazingly and gets rid of morning sickness within about 10 minutes.
Zofran/Ondansetron is also used in pregnancy. I felt safe using this during pregnancy as I have known more women who have used it without any problems. it's a newer drug and works very well without the sedating side effects that promethazine can have. Here is the FDA information too.

Ondansetron is the generic for Zofran. Why would you refuse it? It's safe to take or your Dr wouldn't prescribe it to you. There's other meds out there if you don't want to take it. My Dr gave me Diclegis. It helped take the edge off the nausea.
Hello! This is me and my husband's first pregnancy/baby :-) I am 8.5 weeks and the morning sickness is so bad I can't anything! I go from bed to couch back to bed... I work full time and have had to call out several times so far... MD gave me some anti nausea pills they kind of work but mostly put me to sleep...any suggestions?
This is my 4th pregnancy. I have had 3 miscarriages so far generally around 6 weeks or so. I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and we want a baby so bad. So far, the pregnancy is going great but I'm experiencing nausea & vomiting for the first time. Boyyyyy does it suck! I almost feel guilty for complaining but I need some sort of relief if possible. Did anything work for any of you? What about that constant bitter taste all the time? Please share your remedies/stories with me.

I was prescribed ondansetron by the hospital for hyperemesis from 6 weeks until 17 weeks after being admitted multiple times due to dehydration and starvation. I tried two others first but they did nothing. I could not keep anything down, even my own spit had my dry retching and I lost 15% of my healthy bodyweight. I still felt ill after stopping at 17 weeks but I was able to cope with it better as it had subsided a good bit.
he tells me it has a burning sensation and his penis gets really dry and irritated after each time we have sex. i have problems. im taking vitamins ,ondansetron for nausea, and laxatives could that be the problem?? what over the counter medicine can he take?

Ok I'm 7 weeks and I've been having crazy morning sickness for 3 weeks. Smh. I can't keep anything down. Its so different from my first pregnancy. Wasn't nearly this sick. Tried bland foods. Tried the food I'm craving. Water. Juice. Ginger ale. Nothing helps. Even tried warm water. Horrible. What do I do?
My wife has not had any morning sickness at all. She actually went through her first pregnancy without morning sickness as well.
