Feb 15, 2011- I decided enough was enough. I finally accepted that to lose weight, I will have to actually Get Up Off The Couch and DO something. I started by walking on a treadmill (started at a mile) and now I am up to 2 miles. I have cut out 99% of sodas and sweet tea. No junk food.

My daughter and son-in-law were both on phentermine for a few months. Neither of them lost huge amounts of weight and when they went off the pills, they gained back everything they lost, plus some. Both are grossly overweight.

Yes I'm on Phentermine too, have been on it since start of May and have lost 21 lbs so far. But I only intend to be on it for one more month, as the doctor said it is used for three months only, as the body gets used to it and you may stop losing weight.
Losing weight that quickly is not safe and phentermine is not a long term solution.

on may 1, 2013 i weighed 191 lbs. i joined a weight loss center where i use three of their protein supplement per day and regular grocery store non processed food. the total calories is probably around 1000 - 1100 calories or so. i also used phentermine from my DR and was taking 2 - 3 mile walks per day. i averaged about 2.5 lbs per week loss. i've lost 40 lbs in 4 months.

B12 shots should give you energy, but they are not a weight loss drug. I take b12 shot every 2 weeks because I am deficient......I can guarantee that it will not make you lose weight, unless you exercise...and if you aren't deficient, it probably won't help you much at all.

But I think everything from what I've read leans toward not being an issue for your baby that you took phentermine during early pregnancy.
m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????
Are you having trouble losing weight on the Phentermine alone? I am on this too 15 mg twice a day. It isn't a complete stop appetite pill. I started out taking it once a day in the morning. Then later twice per day. I helps me to control how much I eat. I started in January and now I'm 37 pounds down. But before I started to take this medicine I got away from red meats, sweets, white bread. Basically carbs all around. That got me into a good eating habit.
