She prescribe me a ciprofloxacin hydrochloride ophthalmic solution, 0.3% and Erythromycin Ophthalmic Ointment USP, 0.5%(sterile) apply ointment 1 times a day to use,follow up with her everyday. I used both prescription for 5 days, but then I switch to another ophthalmology office, he said change medication don't used the medication that previous Dr prescript to me. Start using Tobramycin and Dexamethasone Ophthalmic Suspension USP, 0.3%/0.
I had pink eye about 4 weeks ago and was given eye drops to use Sulfacetamide Sodium Ophthalmic Solution USP. Now my eye lids (the one that had pink eye is the worse) are swollen, pink and itch like HE**. They are crusty and burn, and I have wrinkles in the corner of my eyes and my lids seem to droop I also have a huge bag under the eye that had pink eye. I dont know what has happen to me can someone plese help?

I was prescribed Erythromycin Ophthalmic Ointment USP, 0.5% (sterile) to be applied to the eyes' eyelid margins every night at bedtime. What is the minimum and maximum time (i.e. days, months) I can use this medication without making the bacteria drug resistant or causing other problems?
my doctor said u have dry eyes and suggest me ..eyemist gel (hydroxypropyl Methycellulose (hypromellose) ophthalmic gel 0.3%) and artificial tears and for curing redness doctor suggest me Lotepred eye drop(Loteprednol Etabonate Ophthalmic Suspension--0.2%w/v sterile eye drop ) . and protect your eyes from direct Uv rays ..for which i have purchased a sun glasses.

Doctor has prescribed Bacitracin Ophthalmic Ointment USP and Systane. He says it is a matter of dry eye. I live in Las Vegas. However, I have faithfully used the ointment for over a week, and I don't see an improvement. I replaced the Systane with another dry-eye drop because the Systane seemed to irritate my eye further. I'm reaching the point of sheer terror, and the appearance of my eye is effecting the work I do.
The day after that, i woke up having yellow discharge from my eye, i visited my doctor and she gave me Gentamicin sulfate ointment 0.3% Ophthalmic. I used it for 10 days up to now, at the beginning, it worked very well, but know, I have the infection back, specially in the mornings when I wake up. what do u guys think that I should do?
Prednisolone Acetate, and 2: Ofloxacin. I am taking these several times a day for 6 weeks..for each eye.
I was also diagnosed with glaucoma and am taking 2 eye drops for life..to reduce the pressure in my eyes. They are 1: Dorzolamide HCl/Timolol Maleate and 2: Latanoprost . These are all Ophthalmic solutions.
Can the cataract surgery itself, or, the eye drop drugs I am taking as listed above, cause dry eye?..and if so, what would you recommend I take, if anything, to prevent this. Thanks.
I was prescribed 3 different eye drops to take 4 times a day, VIGAMOX, LOTEMAX, AND ISOPTO HYOSCINE along with a cream ERYTHROMYCIN OPHTHALMIC OINTMENT USP. The second day of taking these eye drops I began having a severe itching in my eye and also a rash on my chest. I took benedryl to help with the itching and rash. The doctor said that it was ok to take this. After 2 days the itch stopped and I stopped the benadryl. In the past I have had adverse reactions to steroids.
I have just had an appointment with my ophthalmologist who prescribed Prednisolone Acetate Ophthalmic Suspension USP,. 1 drop, four times a day for 4 weeks. He suggested that if the drops don't fix my Uveitis (which has gotten quite severe) he would proceed with an injection.
1. I do not feel comfortable using these while pregnant because of possible effects on the fetus.
2. Is the injection safe while pregnant. What are the associated risks?

That didn’t work, the next morning when he woke up and his eye was shut completely I went to a Dr. that told me he doesn’t know what it is and gave me Erythromycin Ophthalmic Ointment USP, 0.5% and told me to apply to the infected eye 3 times a day and if by Sunday (today its Friday), it’s not reduced in size by half I should come by again. Today after applying it twice there is no change and it even looks a bit worse.
Few years back, when my mom was washing toilet with acid.. she felt some irritation.. suddenly her one of the eye got reddish.. she went for treatment, and after some days, the eye came back to normal.
But now, the same got reddish again, after multiple check up with the eye doctor, she prescribed "Prednisolone acetate ophthalmic suspension USP" and she used for a week.. now her eyes are 70% ok.
In OCT examination there was small cystic spaces and I was advised 20mg Triamcolone DPST Initially there was relief and I consulted again I was advised to use Acular (Ketorolac Tromethamine ophthalmic solution) . . Now I met the same problem. Which ophthalmic solution is best for relief?
Now the problem is , the eye drop Systane (Polyethylene Glycole 400 NF 0.4% w/v, Propylene Glycole USP 0.3% w/v, Preservative: Polyquad (polyquaternium-1) 0.001% w/v)) when administered starts redness and inflammation at the both coners of eye and swelling under the eye. So if you can suggest its alternative so that irritation can be controlled while treating the glaucoma.
( (a) Lotepred eye drop instill 1 drop 4 times a day (b) SOFTVISC EYE DROP (sodium carboxymethylcellulose 1%w/v) instil 1 drop 4 times a day (c) VIGAMOX EYE DROPS INSTILL 1 DROP 4 TIMES A DAY and (d) EYEMIST GEL (hydroxypropyl Methycellulose (hypromellose) ophthalmic gel 0.3%) instill 1 drop 2 times daily on 26 April 2011....
After this i follow the instruction and getting better and went again to him on 2nd may 2011 ..
For my inital treatment, while waiting for my first blood testresults, i was prescribed with Azithomycin (1mg single dose), Doxycline (7 days), Ofloxacin (7 days) and Rocephine. When the blood results came back 2 weeks later, it confirmed i had chamydia. Thereafter, my doctor prescribed for me another week of doxycline and 2 months of ofloxacin.
During a follow up visit, 3 weeks ago, i did a blood test and the results was equivocal or uncommital.
I got severe stomach pain on jan 24 and next day the scanning result is that i got 2 small calculi in right kidney and hydronephrosis of left kidney with uretric caliculas. i was prescribed kmac syrup(potassium citrate & magnesium citrate oral solution), brakke (ofloxacin and ornidazole) tablets , hifenac spas(aceclofenac and drotaverine hydrochloride tablets) taking which i suffered constipation severely then i guessed may be the side effects of above drugs. i took them day after day.
I have used Povidon (iodine usp) 10% antiseptic solution once on the cut, taken 7 Cefixime usp 200mg capsule 2/day till now. Using Petroleum Jelly on the spot to keep in moist two times a day. Haven't seen any doctor but got the medicine from the nearest pharmacy. Next morning while i was sleeping blood started to pumping on the penis and suddenly it started to hurt a lot. but no blood came out as i woke up and stopped the hard on.
I consulted doctor he told I don’t have eye sight and he given “Tears Naturale, lubricant eye drops, Alcon” (Hypromellose, Ophthalmic solution ). But still I am facing same problem please advice me.
I am not familiar with this drop. Is it a suspension? (milky color)
