I used both prescription for 5 days, but then I switch to another ophthalmology office, he said change medication don't used the medication that previous Dr prescript to me. Start using Tobramycin and Dexamethasone Ophthalmic Suspension USP, 0.3%/0.
my doctor said u have dry eyes and suggest me ..eyemist gel (hydroxypropyl Methycellulose (hypromellose) ophthalmic gel 0.3%) and artificial tears and for curing redness doctor suggest me Lotepred eye drop(Loteprednol Etabonate Ophthalmic Suspension--0.2%w/v sterile eye drop ) . and protect your eyes from direct Uv rays ..for which i have purchased a sun glasses.

The day after that, i woke up having yellow discharge from my eye, i visited my doctor and she gave me Gentamicin sulfate ointment 0.3% Ophthalmic. Prednisolone Acetate, and 2: Ofloxacin. I am taking these several times a day for 6 weeks..for each eye.
I was also diagnosed with glaucoma and am taking 2 eye drops for life..to reduce the pressure in my eyes. They are 1: Dorzolamide HCl/Timolol Maleate and 2: Latanoprost . These are all Ophthalmic solutions.
Can the cataract surgery itself, or, the eye drop drugs I am taking as listed above, cause dry eye?..and if so, what would you recommend I take, if anything, to prevent this. Thanks.

I had an ocular exam last Friday- eyes were dilated with tropicamide and proparacaine. Prior to this I have not had any vision problems, never worn glasses or contacts. For my inital treatment, while waiting for my first blood testresults, i was prescribed with Azithomycin (1mg single dose), Doxycline (7 days), Ofloxacin (7 days) and Rocephine. Upon reading through the forums related to STDs, found out that some folks were prescribed with ofloxacin. Without consulting a doctor, I am self medicating now after googling what's ofloxacin is for. 3 days ago I took 2 400mg and subsequently 200mg every 12 hours. So far, the irritation when I'm urinating and the tingling has subsided significantly. My question is, shall I still continue taking the ofloxacin until the 7th or 10th day from the day I started taking it?
I had pink eye about 4 weeks ago and was given eye drops to use Sulfacetamide Sodium Ophthalmic Solution USP. Now my eye lids (the one that had pink eye is the worse) are swollen, pink and itch like HE**. They are crusty and burn, and I have wrinkles in the corner of my eyes and my lids seem to droop I also have a huge bag under the eye that had pink eye. I dont know what has happen to me can someone plese help?
You could try as wet warm compress on your eye or try rinsing with saline solution, the cold could have gone into your eye..
The doctor (Senior house officer and Registrar) informed me that I have cornea ulcer, pus and inflamation. He prescribed Exocin (Ofloxacin 0.3%)one drop every hour and Chloromycetin at night and monitored me every day for last 8 days. No improvement so far. He took a swab from my eye yesterday and I'm due to see him again on Monday (2 days time). My cornea has a white line (tiny) at the edge of Cornea and can be seen with a naked eye.

On 3/21/07 she had stomach flu,5/24/07 she woke up with a bloody looking eye it's ALWAYS on the same eye (right)on the inner part of the sclera & it never spreads to the other eye,she always says it hurts & it swells up a little. Her pediatrician thought it was conjuvitis & rx Ofloxacin .3% it cleared up in 3 days.
