i may have taken ofloxacin and prednisolone eye drops in my eye 5 times in a day instead of the 4 times like i was supposed to do.will it cause any harm?

The vet said that he has wax and debris in his ear canal and if it is not treated, his ear drum could rupture, causing hearing loss and further infection. Is this truly necessary? Is this something we could treat at home with a solution of peroxide or something? I just don't want to pay this much for something that is not necessary. On the other hand, we love our dog so much and I certainly dont want him to become deaf or experience any hearing loss. Can you help?
For my inital treatment, while waiting for my first blood testresults, i was prescribed with Azithomycin (1mg single dose), Doxycline (7 days), Ofloxacin (7 days) and Rocephine. Without consulting a doctor, I am self medicating now after googling what's ofloxacin is for. 3 days ago I took 2 400mg and subsequently 200mg every 12 hours. So far, the irritation when I'm urinating and the tingling has subsided significantly. My question is, shall I still continue taking the ofloxacin until the 7th or 10th day from the day I started taking it?

I had thyroid cancer and had a thyroidectomy a year ago. After my first scan my doc increased my synthroid dosage to 125mcg. he said a higher dosage can help prevent the cancer from recurring.
