Early this year over new year I was submitted to hospital for emergency treatment on a corneal ulcer and was kept in hospital for three days and given intensive treatment of ofloxacin eye drops every hour, then released from hospital and continued to be on ofloxacin eye drops every 2 hours and steroid drops every 2 hours with frequent visits to the hospitals eye clinic to monitor my progress.
I have some sore on foreskin of my penis 3months ago, at first i'd go to doctor then he gave me ciprofloxacin, and it's getting better, and i was stopped the dosage, that time the sore is happend again.
so i go to doctor again, he give me ofloxacin, it's getting better but when i stopped the dosage yesterday, now a sore is happend again inner foreskin of my penis.
so. . . what should i do? may be i was masturbate yesterday, i don't wanna go to doctor again,
please help.
I couple of days ago I also started out on Amoxicillin 500mg, Sudogest 120mg, and some Ofloxacin ear drops for my ear/sinus infection. One of each has been taken today. I also drank a big *** Rockstar energy drink a few hours ago, which in retrospect, might be the cause of this, but I typically don't have this response. I'm feeling alert (more than I'm used to), a little more sociable, and a little happier.
Hi how's it going? Not too good for me. My left eye has been red only in the corner, it looks like my eye is really strained. It's been going on for about 2 months. I've seen 2 different opthamologist's about 4 times all together. The first doctor didn't seem concerned about her patients; she just looked in my eye for 1 minute and gave me a sample of blink artificial tears. The other doctor just prescribed me to Ofloxacin.
I am blind in my right eye and although I suffer from a slipped cataract lens in my left eye which causes some problems with light catching the top of the lens, the vision in that eye nevertheless is 20/20. Recently I was prescribed an ear drop ofloxacin which I understand is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic which can cause double vision. After using the drug for 10 days I have developed double vision in my good eye which is very worrying.
He puts me on Ofloxacin for a week. After about a week I feel better. My wife and I have sex, with her giving me oral sex. Coincidentally, about 5-7 days later she starts to complain that her throat and ear are burning, and at the same time my symptoms return. I received a swab test again for STD and negative, and a urinalysis, which says I have no bacterial infection. I am worried I have passed something on to her.
thank you! It stinks but the meds have started helping better than I thought. My nasal congestion is almost 100% gone already, my ears don't hurt as bad, and are no longer clogged which is nice. My throat, chest and cough are still here, and im sure it will be for a few more days.
DH ran me a bath and gave me a nice body massage so im feeling sooo much better, now all I have to do is eat the chicken noodle soup he just made me lol.
Feburary 16th I woke up with a extremely painful earache and lost my ability to hear in my left ear. I went to a walk in clinic the following day for the Doctor to briefly look into my ear and said it was "buldging" she sent me home with Doxycycline and OTC Allegra and told me to come back in 3 days if there was no improvement.
Upon reading through the forums related to STDs, found out that some folks were prescribed with ofloxacin. Without consulting a doctor, I am self medicating now after googling what's ofloxacin is for. 3 days ago I took 2 400mg and subsequently 200mg every 12 hours. So far, the irritation when I'm urinating and the tingling has subsided significantly. My question is, shall I still continue taking the ofloxacin until the 7th or 10th day from the day I started taking it?
please let me know if the dosage i am taking i.e. 1/4 of 20 fluoxetine and 5mg olanzapine combo and 3/4 lorazepam is high or low.
did not describe any of these unwanted symptoms prior to the visit to your doctor I am more inclined to believe that the problem you are experiencing is a result of using the paraffin (mineral oil) ear drops. This product will not irritate the ear canal or the sensitive membranes; however, it can cause the wax within the canal to swell. The swelling of the wax may create a sense of fullness, can occlude the ear canal and cause hearing loss & can cause you to feel dizzy.
I was on ear drops & amoxicillin for 20 days a month ago for a double ear infection. It's fine. My OB was the one who prescibed them.
I am currently taking ofloxacin (local meds) 400 mg 3x a day for 5 days for my uti. Will it also cure any possible std(gonorrhea/chlamydia) if i have one?
On 3/21/07 she had stomach flu,5/24/07 she woke up with a bloody looking eye it's ALWAYS on the same eye (right)on the inner part of the sclera & it never spreads to the other eye,she always says it hurts & it swells up a little. Her pediatrician thought it was conjuvitis & rx Ofloxacin .3% it cleared up in 3 days.
After about 3-4 days I went to the Dr and he prescribed topical antibiotic drops. After taking the drops for 3-4 days my eyes only seemed to worsen. I went back to the Dr and he said the pink eye was likely viral, not bacterial conjunctivitis, and the antibiotic drops were irritating the eyes.
