He puts me on Ofloxacin for a week. After about a week I feel better. My wife and I have sex, with her giving me oral sex. Coincidentally, about 5-7 days later she starts to complain that her throat and ear are burning, and at the same time my symptoms return. I received a swab test again for STD and negative, and a urinalysis, which says I have no bacterial infection. I am worried I have passed something on to her.
My daughter is 12 and she is having urine infection. Her urine examination results is

now she is taking ofloxacin tablet I.
In addition I did another calculation and actually I tested negative for Mycoplasma 25 days after taking Ofloxacin. I learnt that Urine tests are pretty accurate so I strongly believe that I do not have ngu any more. But what conserns me is continuos clear discharge after I wake up. That has now happened 4 days in a row. I know that because my penis head is moist. I do not see it happening during the day - even if I have long breaks between urinating.
Typically if a corneal ulcer has resolved, the cornea has basically stabilized with no defect , thus eliminating a passageway for further infection. However, if you have a condition that predisposes to dry eye and roughs up the ocular surface, that should definitely be addressed to limit that from posing a risk factor for further ulcers.
chances are the infection never really went away, if it was gonorreah or syphilis it probably relapsed...
I couple of days ago I also started out on Amoxicillin 500mg, Sudogest 120mg, and some Ofloxacin ear drops for my ear/sinus infection. One of each has been taken today. I also drank a big *** Rockstar energy drink a few hours ago, which in retrospect, might be the cause of this, but I typically don't have this response. I'm feeling alert (more than I'm used to), a little more sociable, and a little happier.
As I am currently situated in China and am not too confident of the Chinese hospitals, I visited an International Medical Center where the doctor diagnosed a Chlamydia infection. There was only a urine sample test done and I was prescribed Ofloxacin. My itch and discharge cleared up after I was done with the medication, 4 x 100 mg tablets, 2 times daily for 5 days.

I am blind in my right eye and although I suffer from a slipped cataract lens in my left eye which causes some problems with light catching the top of the lens, the vision in that eye nevertheless is 20/20. I checkeed with thedoctor with test report of urinalysis and blood CBC. In Urine,they found WBC of 33 and no bacteria..Gave me ofloxacin for 1more week.
I checked with a dermatologist and they said there was no rash or red spots in the penis

On 3/21/07 she had stomach flu,5/24/07 she woke up with a bloody looking eye it's ALWAYS on the same eye (right)on the inner part of the sclera & it never spreads to the other eye,she always says it hurts & it swells up a little. Several months ago i started to have a mild acne on my forehead, I did some exams and came out positive for staph aureus infection and staph epidermidis in two different labs. I took a treatment with antibiotics called ofloxacin 400 mg for ten days, my tests showed to be sensible to this drug. During the treatment the acne almost vanished but after i stopped it the situation was as bad as always.
Feburary 16th I woke up with a extremely painful earache and lost my ability to hear in my left ear. I went to a walk in clinic the following day for the Doctor to briefly look into my ear and said it was "buldging" she sent me home with Doxycycline and OTC Allegra and told me to come back in 3 days if there was no improvement.
The doctor put me back on Ofloxacin for 2 more weeks and gave me Terramycin ointment to rub into my urethra 3 times a day. Again the symptoms subsided completely but returned a week after ending the treatment.
I went to a different urologist who switched me to a week of Doxycycline (100mg x2 a day) and a followup back on Ofloxacin and to stop the Terramycin.
After having unprotected sex the head of my penis got itchy in the inside of the hole and had a very little amount of discharge. I searched the net to find the answer and the closest to my symptom is urethritis. Upon reading through the forums related to STDs, found out that some folks were prescribed with ofloxacin. Without consulting a doctor, I am self medicating now after googling what's ofloxacin is for. 3 days ago I took 2 400mg and subsequently 200mg every 12 hours.

He also took two swab sample from my penis for STD testing and also gave e Ofloxacin for 10 days since he thought the pain was due to an infection. Two days later I was still worried and so I went and saw my family doctor and he told me that STD's wouldn't make sense in my case since I didn't have symptoms to make it plausible.
I went for the urine examination which showed pus cells and culture was negative for any microbe. In this mean time I took Ofloxacin 400mg once in a day. After this I had pain on the base of my ears both side and I was so much worried about any of the STD's mostly HIV & Syphilis and got myself tested at 55 days Post infection whic hcame back negative. I also have very slight pain in groin,armpit and neck which i feel is due to inflammation of Lymph nodes but is not palpable to me.
At the same time when I got tested for Syphilis VDRL, I also got tested for Chlamydia PCR urine test and Gonococcal PCR urine test. Negative results for both tests. Can I assume these 2 tests results are also reliable? Although I have taken the above mentioned antibiotics? The duration between the last dose of last antibiotic Zinnat and the testing day is around 20 days.

last treatment consisted of ofloxacin and fluorometholone eyedrops (q6h) for 10 days, along with doxycycline and omega-3 pills for 3 months.
i wonder if this condition may be caused by fungal infection instead of by bacterial infection, so that any antibiotics worsen the infection. what medicines are indicated for blepharitis caused by fungus? oral ketoconazole?
Thank you! Is it possible to have an infection without it showing up on a urine dip test? I went today and again it was negative. I asked the doc there and they said after 4 weeks of this pain I should show something on the test. They send it out for culture anyway.
