i may have taken ofloxacin and prednisolone eye drops in my eye 5 times in a day instead of the 4 times like i was supposed to do.will it cause any harm?

Hi forum, Early this year over new year I was submitted to hospital for emergency treatment on a corneal ulcer and was kept in hospital for three days and given intensive treatment of ofloxacin eye drops every hour, then released from hospital and continued to be on ofloxacin eye drops every 2 hours and steroid drops every 2 hours with frequent visits to the hospitals eye clinic to monitor my progress.

For the cataract surgery, it is every 2 hours!!! Eye drops, eye drops and more eye drops. Then more eye drops for the dry eye that the other drops cause. On and on. No end.

Dear Doctor, I have a few very specific STD transmission questions. Almost 11 days ago I went to a strip club and had several "lap dances" and to many beers. I have never seen this actual drug so I have no experience with it. Ear drops usually burn quite a bit when put in the eye due to the different pH so I have seen severe irritation due to ear dorps in the past. I don't know enough about this drop.

I went for eye checkup (optometrist) 5 days back and she found little cornea inflammation in my left eye and prescribed me lotemax drops for a week and now i have been using them for a week and its still there.I am also having ear ringing in my left ear for couple of days now. No redness, just I notes some discharge in the morning. Eye swab showed Light growth of Aspergillus niger, which I have in my ear, as well. I don´t have any other immunological disease or problem. For ear infection I was prescribed Fluconazole tablets, since my ear drum is damaged from childhood and I cannot take drops. Feburary 16th I woke up with a extremely painful earache and lost my ability to hear in my left ear. I went to a walk in clinic the following day for the Doctor to briefly look into my ear and said it was "buldging" she sent me home with Doxycycline and OTC Allegra and told me to come back in 3 days if there was no improvement.

My understanding is that ciprodex is an ear drop so you definitely need to stop using it in the eye. It may have a different pH than eye drops and might cause significant irritation - but not usually a major problem. Please have your doctor make you an appointment with an ophthalmologist and explain to the primary care docor that the ciprodex drops are not for the eye.

See if you can see a corneal Eye MD physician ophthalmologist. Ask the Eye MD to look at your eye before drops are put in and ask if you have "recurrent corneal erosions".

Heat to the ear...or u can take tylenol. U can also cut up a onion and put it on ur ear .. cut in (half).

The top and bottom of the eye feel like burning sensation. And now my left ear has the same burning sensation. I tried to put Ivizia eye drops and cover my eye with a warm cloth for 10 minutes but the relief was temporary. Within 15 minutes, the burning sensation is back. It isn't easy to look at my computer monitor at work. I don't wear contacts. Has anyone experienced something similar?
